Loaded with shortcomings, not really generous in terms of content, Brink still remains an FPS with some really neat ideas, mostly in the way it promotes good teamplay. If you have several buddies with whom to share the experience, and take the time to organize your strategy, you won't be disappointed. But even so, the clear lack of polish, the not-so varied environments and average technical side prevent it from being an excellent FPS; it's only a good one.

Deadly Premonition is the unlikely meeting of Shenmue, Silent Hill and GTA, in a Twin Peaks setting... An unexpected mix that comes bundled with awful visuals and terribly old-school gameplay, but remains full of interesting things to discover. It mesmerizes the player thanks to a strange atmosphere, a compelling story, a cast of weird but terribly consistent characters, and a solid storytelling... In short, this is a unique gaming experience that will be be rewarding to players who can actually... endure it! See for yourself if you're ready to dismiss big (big) gameplay and visual shortcomings, to eventually discover a little shiny treasure... The cheap price (25 euros) may help you take that risk.

The Legacy of the First Blade's last part delivers a clumsy conclusion to the Assassin's Creed Odyssey journey, by recycling the same missions and mechanics once more, only to lead its story to the end and satisfy some fans of the saga. With a single naval battle, a kind of cheated new ability and a bland last boss, this third DLC runs short on idea, and do not reach the quality of Assassin's Creed Odyssey main story.

All sports benefit from the improved precision of the Wii MotionPlus - except the "K.O.tic" boxing - but only baseball and golf exploit the GamePad in a really innovative way. With its refreshing pitch and mystical atmosphere, A Shadow's Tale seemed like an original game. But if this innovative side is well expressed through the visual, it's not in the gameplay, which is inspired by a variety of other existing games, but without any inspiration to merge all this in a clever way. A Shadow's Tale main flaw remains its lack of pace, variety... and fun. A game that can catch our eye very quickly, but can't keep our interest up very long.

Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection pays tribute to the franchise's earlier games. Fans will find some of their favorite characters and maps. What's more, they'll have the pleasure of discovering some titles for the first time in Europe. However, the interest is quickly limited by the redundancy of the games on offer and a definite lack of polish, particularly in terms of languages and texts. The most fervent fans will no doubt not be bothered to play through everything, but the others are likely to skip most of the games and enjoy only 2 or 3, if they have the courage to look for the one that suits them best. All in all, let's hope the publisher doesn't stop with this compilation. There are so many titles that deserve to be brought up to date, especially on previous generations of home consoles.

It's richer and with more variety than a Mario Party, it's smarter, faster, fitting more easily any kind of game you want to have ! Sure, you need friends - it's a immovable rule of the genre, so don't expect to enjoy this one solo either. Frank's casting is a good adaptation of the Dead by Daylight universe for a single-player game. In particular, we appreciate the references and the way the lore has been integrated. Also the deaths are very graphic which is a good thing. Battlefield 2042 is clearly a good vintage. Let it be said, it's very pleasant to get your hands on such a generous opus. The developers of DICE and Ripple Effect Studios were keen to please neophytes but also unconditional fans. The recipe works despite a few small problems such as the insufficient number of maps or even some gameplay issues related to specialists, weapon balancing or the spacialization of footsteps. The title being keen to expand via its future Battlepass, it will be necessary to judge the content over the long term to see whether or not the content is up to par. Here it is at last, the first Castlevania Lords of Shadows DLC ! Is it as good as it was expected ? Well, yes and no. "Yes", because it adds one new chapter to a game we loved, because it does so with classy comic book style cinematics, by offering us some very nice moments playing Laura, with her vampire special abilities and her mastery of thunder, and by giving us new puzzle to chew on, new action sequences to experience, new backgrounds... it even goes as far as to give us a little something more out of the story, shining a little more light on the ending of Lords of Shadow. But "no", because it remains super short with only 3 levels to clear, which are not that surprising, and very quick to complete (maybe an hour). So we're left hanging, with a very frustrating "to be continued". So, for 800 MP, we'd have hoped for more content, or more intensity.

We thought the added horsepower of the 3DS could have given a new breath to the FIFA franchise on Nintendo's portable line, but it's not. It might yet be satisfying for kids, but this 3DS FIFA doesn't have much in common with the HD versions, it even lacks some official licences. Also, there is no online play.

The Longest 5 Minutes sticks to its original promise: delivering a classic J-RPG adventure, starting by the final boss. Its unrestrained rhythm from start to finish and its soft writing may please you during the 10-hour run needed to conquer it, but we sure could have hoped for a more surprising structure in the end.

After an average Dragon Rising episode, Codemasters corrects a lot of shortcomings and delivers, this time around, a more convincing tactical FPS. If the basics remain the same, with a similar technical side and order system, large and open environments, etc. the AI behaviors have been enhanced. This makes Red River a game that is still difficult, but less frustrating, and more immersive. It's also an experience you'll want to share online. A title that's not for everyone, but one that will appeal to virtual soldiers thanks to a unique design.

The Showdown Effect requires some time to be tamed, but its gore action, thrilling pace and voluntarily stupid tone will probably help you forget the tears of your initial failures. Then, you'll be one more to psychology torture the noobs and veto their right to existence. It's a game that's designed for short bursts of action, a few games at a time before your brain melts down.

Space battle with mecha-ships on an oriental trippy music at low price. Nuff'said.

Unlike Banned Footage Vol.1, this second DLC is not able to provide any true enjoyable experience or memorable moment. Too bad.
