What is missing are only a bit of an overall vision, a sense of proportion (because the adventure is paradoxically even a thread too long) and a basic balance: sins of youth, however excusable, which cannot really affect the value of a title that can be played with a certain pleasure.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is another thing of beauty in the series. The title comes with outstanding gameplay, refreshed by little new features, a brand new Live Tournament online mode that gives you the chance to compete with the pro's, and the best graphics ever seen in a sports title.

Anchored to the dogmas of the genus of belonging, it will surely satisfy the veterans of the series as they confuse the neophytes.

Against all previsions Driver: San Francisco, with its Shift mechanic, works great. Lots of different tasks and a 70's hollywood style of screenplay made the Ubisoft production a solid hit and a good revamp for the brand.

The sound is simply fabulous: you can really feel the magic of a Stars and Stripes baseball game. SDS once again confirms its undeniable talent: MLB The Show 24 is one of the most successful episodes of the last period as well as one of the best sports simulations of the year.

A formula that still works quite well, in short, and which is hard to complain about that much.

It's an original experience, one where the quality of the screenplay plays an important role, and the unique atmosphere does the other half of the job. Consider it if you like the genre.

It is only regrettable that, in the long run, experience tends to recycle a few situations too much, removing from progression that little bit more freshness that, given today's playful competition, would certainly not have spoiled.

NBA 2K23 best honors the number it carries. The playful offer of the new basketball iteration by 2K and Visual Concepts is sumptuous, both in terms of visual presentation and content offer. Alongside the now classic game modes such as My Career and My Team, we find the experience in the expanded and enriched WNBA, a Mia NBA mode even more layered and structured than in the past, with several new features (such as the Age of Basketball) that fans of the wedge ball will love. While far from perfect, the package packaged by Entertainment Inc. offers a couple of dungeon crawler experiences like not seen in some time: the combat system is simple but functional, the story is engaging and exciting, and the setting well thought out and very inspired.

After the disappointing Atelier Marie Remake and the questionable decision by the development team to make the 25th episode of the main series a gacha game for mobile devices, the future of the Atelier series seems uncertain. With Atelier Yumia in particular, Gust Corporation has perhaps taken more risks than it should have, and we believe that not all bets have been won. The new action-style combat system lacks the strategic component and depth that had made us appreciate the Secret Trilogy so much, and even the process of alchemical synthesis seems cumbersome and unsatisfying. The product recovers a few points thanks to the exploration, now richer and more multifaceted than ever, and an engaging narrative plot, as well as characterized by mature themes. Paradoxically, Atelier Yumia could really captivate those who have never frequented the series, while there is the risk that historical fans will struggle to accept the change of direction desired by the Japanese studio and above all the abandonment of the carefree atmosphere that has always differentiated the brand from other JRPGs. Hoping that Atelier Yumia remains an isolated experiment, we await the completely offline episode of Atelier Resleriana also due out in 2025, which at least on the artistic front seems much more promising.

Whether it's the first time you experience the triumphant return of the Doom Slayer, or it's an opportunity to replay a recent masterpiece in a new light, Doom Eternal on Switch is undoubtedly the highest point reached by the partnership between Bethesda, id Software, Panic Button and Nintendo.
