Tales from the Borderlands is a game that shows all the years that have passed since its first release, yet the particular hybrid between a point and click and a looter shooter still retains an undeniable charm. Thanks to the high-level writing or the ability to unite in a simple and immediate way so different game worlds, Tales from the Borderlands is a graphic adventure that, despite everything, is recommended both for lovers of the genre and for Borderlands fans, in the hope to be able to welcome, sooner or later, even a second season.

Forza Horison 5: Hot Wheels is a beautiful dive into the dreams of children who have been building tracks on tracks for decades. A sort of car-sized playground built to amaze from the very first moment, which, however, focuses too much on the glance and sacrifices on the altar of the scenography both the freedom of exploration of the base game and the beauty of its events. The festival's spectacular expeditions are lacking, as are secondary events that increase affection for this new floating and intricate world. It is good that a different path has been tried than in the past but the experiment presents some uncertainty in our opinion.

Saturnalia is an adventure that shows off its Italian roots by creating an intriguing story, although not too original, capable of exploiting Sardinian folklore and a credible setting within a highly inspired sensory frame. It works more on a conceptual and visual level than on a strictly playful one, but it is an imbalance that does not excessively affect the pleasure of the experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops for Nintendo Wii retains its HD counterparts' qualities and demerits. The gameplay is not something particularly elaborated, as the production's best values reside in the entertaining direction, but this element is partially hampered by Wii's lack of power. The multiplayer instead is quite good, and rewarding for those who prefer this type of experience; others, who focus on single player, should be better off looking somewhere else but, luckily enough, not so far.

The Rogue Prince of Persia raises the bar for the saga, offering a good, straightforward roguelite with an unmistakable style. Its simplicity will make some people love it, while others will hate it, but there's no denying how much love the small team at Evil Empire has poured into one of the most celebrated video game icons of all time. The gameplay is fun, despite its modest offerings, while the art is completely convincing. The King of Fighters XV is a fun, deep fighting game with a promising online infrastructure. The proposal would certainly have deserved greater attention on the content front, both in terms of story mode and tutorials, but the overall result still has all the credentials to offer fans a more than pleasant experience. This is mainly due to the merits of a solid gameplay that respects the canons of the series, with changes that do not alter the historical soul much. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves does not bow to modernity, building a combat system strongly anchored to tradition that will delight all fans of the arcade era. The very pleasant feeling of being in front of a revised version of the fighting games "of the good old days" is only partially ruined by the unwelcome guest characters and rather poor single player modes. All things considered, the 2025 edition of WWE 2K picks up where its illustrious predecessor left off, continuing to build on the solid foundations laid last year. The gameplay system, despite some historical issues related to multiple matches, is even more robust and fun than usual; the content endowment is, as per tradition, mammoth and generally of a good level, apart from some small qualitative declines in the selection of matches included in the Showcase or in the drafting of the dialogues of My Rise; the visual realization alternates genuinely impressive moments with others in which the need for extra refinements is evident. In essence, if you are passionate about this spectacular sport-entertainment or are simply looking for a title in which to brawl with your friends in the name of fun, WWE 2K25 may be the right choice. One thing's for sure: Tarsier's "little nightmares" have grown, and while they use virtually the same basic gameplay and narrative ingredients, the impact of the images they reveal is much bloodier and more physical, completely unfiltered. If you've played all the Little Nightmares, including the third, and enjoyed them, there's almost no doubt that Reanimal will blow your mind. As always, the hidden horrors, the profound meanings, and the social messages remain powerful and intense beneath the almost "childish" appearance of a direction and art style that blends cartoons and hyperrealism. You have to immerse yourself in the title's dark world, however, and gameplay alone won't be enough to guide you: it's very simple, basic, and less stimulating than usual. Unlike the narrative, which is several notches above the rest.

The surprise debut - no surprise - of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion coincides with the return to the market of a role-playing game that is nothing short of memorable, which marked a fundamental stage in the journey of the series and its genre. The one put together by Virtuos is an atypical remake, which tries to reconcile a twenty-year-old gaming soul with a brand new body. Both the soul and the body show some significant rough edges, but it is truly impossible not to appreciate the work done by the Singapore team, creators of a Cyrodiil that resembles the one in our memories more than the scenario actually explored at the beginning of the 2000s. This is no small feat, mind you.

World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap is an interesting title, a good hybrid between a Tower Defence and an Action-RPG, but that becomes repetitive too soon.
