In any case, it is impossible not to turn a blind eye to some technical issues, also because the title is not only included in the Xbox Game Pass catalog for PC and consoles, but is also sold at a negligible price, since it can be added to your digital library for just over 16 euros.

The Mageseeker is a concentrate of speed and action, penalized only by a monotony of the stages and a scarce variety of contents offered in the exploration. Thankfully, the very deep and properly layered battle system manages to counter this issue. In the 15 hours needed to finish the adventure, The Mageseeker will certainly not encourage replayability or backtracking, but will be able to put your skills to the test even in secondary missions. In short, the sum of the parts makes this League of Legends spin-off worthy of being played even by those who are not a strict connoisseur of the Riot universe.

Harry Potter Magic Awakened is a good mobile game that allows any fan of the brand to take a trip to Hogwarts and experience an adventure with a familiar flavor. Some edges related to the repetitiveness of the activities, the microtransactions and the technical sector take it away from perfection, yet the free to play of Portkey Games has the numbers to give a few hours of fun to fans of the bespectacled wizard.

In its coming and going of pop quotes and inspirations, Extra Coin flows for a variable number of hours. How many minutes will we spend in the minigames? Shady Part of Me remains a good level puzzle-platformer and an experience that, in its own small way, has something to say.

It remains an addictive chapter just like its predecessors, a vortex of sounds and colors from which to be overwhelmed and with which to smile to the rhythm of music.

Redout 2 is a profound revision of the concept of the first chapter, finally blessed by a budget that allows the crazy artistic direction to free themselves from the limits of the past to create an experience that is at times incomparable. New events, airships and locations, reinforce the identity of a title that was born as a tribute to the masters of the genre such as Wipeout and F-Zero but which today has taken its own path, a path oriented towards pure driving skills. You have to try and try again for a long time to be able to internalize the controls, the totally crazy speeds and the complexity of the layout of the tracks, but Redout 2 knows how to reward the most tenacious with a complete and satisfying experience like few others.

Those who love "anime style" products will find a nicely modeled character design, but also a truly sparse concept and little environmental inspiration. Despite some technical issues State of Decay is a great free to play zombie game, capable to explore lots of different genres with ease.

At the end of the credits all that remains is the regret for a very reduced longevity, which leaves us with the desire to discover more deeply the story drafted by David S. Goyer.

Retro/Grade is an atypical and fun rhythm game. Unfortunately, the limited number of sound tracks does not allow it to reach more positive judgement.

Treasure offers another Xbox Live Arcade remake of one of its former glory, after Ikaruga and waiting Radiant Silvergun. Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury adds some interesting options such as co-op, revise the control system experiencing Geometry Wars double-stick and enhances the level editor. On balance, however, this remake proves difficult for novices with its rather steep difficulty curve, while those who have already fleeced on Dreamcast or Nintendo DS will hardly muster the impetus necessary for another take.

A very confusing operation.

The reissue of the collection that delighted all Sonic nostalgics last year fleshes out its offer with a handful of titles with fluctuating quality: devoid of those small modernization processes that had characterized the first chapters of the series in the last edition , Sonic Origins Plus games originally released on the Game Gear are more distinguished by their historical value. The addition of Amy as a playable character is an important step for the entire saga, but her moveset does not revolutionize the approach to those levels that we have now learned by heart. Basically, if you missed the 2022 appointment, you absolutely must make this expanded edition yours. Die-hard fans of the pet with base experience might think seriously about upgrading, everyone else should think twice.

Despite the lack of choice and freedom in the single player side, GRID Autosport delivers some exciting gameplay thanks to its believable driving model and over the top AI. It might lack some polish on the multiplayer side, but it's still a great comeback for fans of the original game.

Ultimately, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes succeeds because it grasps precisely which aspect of the series truly deserved to be adapted into a game: the arduous struggle of holding together a community in flight. The fleet management system works precisely because it forces you to live with the consequences of what you leave behind. Its limitations become apparent when crises and points of interest lose their element of surprise, when factions exert less influence than promised, and when the heroes remain more functional than memorable. However, the game is bolstered by a generous mechanical framework: diverse Gunstars, randomized abilities, varied enemies, distinct builds, a Compendium, and permanent bonuses lend real substance to its replayability—even when the narrative component begins to tread along paths that have become all too familiar. It is neither the most spectacular adaptation of Battlestar Galactica, nor the most consistent: when it focuses on risk, timing, and compromise, Scattered Hopes can be truly compelling; yet, when it relies too heavily on the repetition of its scenarios, it remains a solid, intelligent space roguelite—albeit one that is less surprising than it could have been.

All Star Racing does not offer anything more than Mario Kart. Still, is entertaining and perfect for the portable device, and the great number of characters, circuits and game modes make it a decent "clone".

Overall Infinity Ward Call of Duty Ghosts holds firm, resists the assaults of the competitors, and welcomes the new generation with dignity after all, despite the big single player problems and thanks to a well-crafted multiplayer. But after Ghosts, Infinity Ward will have to somehow rethink his Call of Duty, cause Black Ops 2 has clearly exceeded the "historic" Modern Warfare team already.

A few bugs being resolved and a few wasted opportunities (especially in the final) prevent him from reaching the full 90, but if you find the background noise of mega-productions unbearable, Solar Ash represents the perfect oasis of peace and harmony in which to take refuge.

UFC 5 is an excellent simulator of one of the bloodiest and most choreographic combat sports around. The team has managed to package a solid product, full of modes and which will satisfy the most hardcore MMA fans. In short, we are talking about a good entry for newcomers to the world of UFC, but it is a little less fresh for those who have played the previous chapters. If UFC 5 marks your first approach to the world of mixed martial arts, add half a point to the rating.

Boasting the same changes made to the remastered version of the progenitor, the PS4 edition of Trails of Cold Steel II undoubtedly represents the definitive version of the product, as well as an unmissable title in the video library of anyone who considers himself a true JRPG fan.

After a slow start, TWD's second season has found a good balance with its middle chapter. Now, at the beginning of the end, we expected something more in terms of climax. Let's hope the last chapter gets back on track.

Between HD remastering and complete remake, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion is a thick reissue that keeps the valuable narrative component of the original unchanged, today more than ever essential to fully understand the increasingly complex mythology of the seventh fantasy the final. By intervening on the fluidity of the combat system and even reworking the infamous OMD system, Square Enix has managed to rejuvenate and improve a still valid play system. On the flip side, however, the graphic restoration was only partially successful, as the landscapes and polygonal models of the secondary characters would have needed touch-ups of a much different entity. While waiting for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to reach the launch pad, Crisis Core still represents an obligatory stop for fans of the saga, perhaps even more than it was fifteen years ago.

The Harmonix experiment is only half good. The fast-paced mechanics of gameplay shifts the balance from the pure taste of song execution to exasperated hi-score.

It might appear as a classic J-style dungeon crawler, but there's much more than that. Some gameplay mechanics are really original, and that, combined with the competitive price and the replayability, make for an experience worth considering.

Crysalis introduced the setting and characters in a fascinating way, but this second chapter really kicks off. The narration is above average, and the outcomes are starting to look really promising.

Amnesia Collection is a must-have "trilogy" for those players who crave to indulge in the thrills of interactive horror.

It is a pity that the exploitation of such a valid idea has produced a result below expectations.

NBA 2K20 remains an indispensable title for basketball fans, but could have followed, as far as mitrotransactions are concerned, the same virtuous approach carried out with the gameplay.

It's an overall good porting, and the night-time stealth works well. Shame for the lack of a deeper narrative, and of more precise controls.

Net of a less than impeccable artistic direction and a menu structure that absolutely needs to be reviewed, Honor of Kings is among the best MOBAs available on mobile devices today. With its impeccable control system and an incredible amount of content, it is certainly capable of making those who appreciate this type of experience happy.

As is Good Job! it remains an interesting and well packaged product, but ultimately also a little "light". In short, net of a not very popular price, a side dish not bad to alternate perhaps with much more structured and demanding experiences.

400 Days is the demonstration that The Walking Dead worked thanks to its episodic nature, or at least to a "not too compressed" narrative rhythms.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game, despite some gameplay issues, features a good variety of situations with a lot of strategy linked to different kinds of weapons and enemies that requires a special attack to be beaten. Also the multiplayer, featuring a lot of fun modes and an unexpected solidity, gives a boost to the game.

Ultimately, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is configured as a solid action RPG, whose merit, however, is limited by a general lack of refinement in the fundamental mechanics. The real highlight of the production, as often happens with Don't Nod's works, is certainly to be found in the writing, full of brilliant ideas and generally very inspired. If you are looking for a title that knows how to correctly combine a dark atmosphere setting with a passionate (and at times heartbreaking) love story, you are in the right place. The horrors of New Eden await you.

Dead Rising 3 is a solid free roaming, with a lot of wicked weapons and many cool things to entertain the player. Unfortunately, the graphics are not something we can define as "next-gen".

Grand Slam Tennis is a great tennis simulation. Probably the Wii Motion plus does not shows its real potential, but this product is perfect for tennis lovers, thanks to the big variety of shots, the large number of game modes and a perfect online support.

The PC porting of Deadlight does not disappoint the fans. Mixing platforming, action and survival in a wise manner, the title conquer all the favors of the public.

The quality of reproduction is quite faithful to the starting counterparts, and the work of historical preservation is top notch, thanks also to the full-bodied museum full of curiosities.

Dead Space 3 is no more Survival than Dead Space 2. The game is therefore capable of maintaining the elevated nervous tension and to involve players in an interesting adventure.

The mechanics and interface of Headquarters: World War II recall old wargames from the 2000s, such as Battle Academy, while the visual spectacularity and wide environmental destructibility refer to contemporary RTS approaches. This combination ensures a compelling gaming experience, perfect for lovers of historical strategy games. There are some rough edges on both the technical and gaming fronts, yet the Starni Games formula is able to satisfy those looking for a challenge set during the Second World War.

A well structured platform, with few original ideas that supports a fair designed backtracking. The art style is brilliant, for one of the best tie-in in the last years.

The limping technical realization and the long-term repetitiveness of the game formula limit the expressive power of a production that perhaps deserved more fortune four years ago.

The Switch version brings with it the possibility - inherent in the nature of the console - to put the marsupial in his pocket and play in his company on every occasion: a feature that marries amiably with the rhythms of the three adventures. We are therefore willing to tolerate some degree of lack on the graphic level, in the face of a gameplay that is well suited to the logic of use in mobility.

Abzu is an interactive exposure of wonderful underwater nature, concentrated but memorable. However, the game is still missing an important message, a sort of subtext that can impress the player. It remains an important debut for a young team that will be able to achieve great things, with a little more experience.

Even on PC, Lone Wolf's adventures maintain their value as an original mix between e-book and turn-based combat. Controls with keyboard and mouse work well, and the price for the 4 full chapters is just right.

Several years after its first release Toki Tori 2 + is still a great puzzle game. This new version for PlayStation 4 can be a nice opportunity to rediscover a game that surely deserved more consideration.

To be honest, we did not think an "apocryphal" episode could get so close to the quality of the original work. But you know, "life is odd."

WWE 2K26 presents itself to fans of great pro wrestling as a revised and improved version of the previous game that smooths out some rough edges (while, unfortunately, leaving others unchanged) and further increases the enormous amount of content that has all the makings of keeping fans engaged for several hundred hours. If you're a fan of the discipline and want to get caught up in the fervor of WrestleMania Season, perhaps with a group of friends, WWE 2K26 could be just the thing for you.

Injustice can be considered as a "popular" fighting game, which strives above all to please the general public and to propose an overall well-structured gameplay.

The first episode was just great, but this second chapter can't keep up the great rhythm.

After the Fall is ultimately a fun co-op shooter with very solid gunplay, penalized along the way by a general lack of variety. Net of a sustained pace, which winks at the classic arcade light gun shooter, the Vertigo Games title can also be enjoyable for the players more sensitive to motion sickness, thanks to the numerous options available for comfort. The polished Complete Edition for PSVR 2 can also benefit from the technical upgrades of the viewer, starting from the exceptional haptic feedback of the Sense controllers which manages to restore an even more visceral feeling to the use of weapons. Having a focus on multiplayer, the lifecycle of the game will largely depend on post-launch support and user traffic on the servers, which we hope thanks to cross play will remain good, at least in the medium term. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to play a Left 4 Dead emulator in virtual reality, After the Fall is simply the right choice.

It's pure horror, as if you were in an IMAX cinema. It will surround you, and terrify you, especially in the very well crafted first hours. Then it gets a bit repetitive, but it's still an adventure you won't easily forget.

Pac Man Championship Edition 2 is a solid title; rich, funny and well developed. Still, it can not match the incredible Championship Edition DX.

RoadCraft is an interesting simulation compromise, which combines great attention to detail in models, times and settings, with the attempt to maximize the importance of the “task - completion - reward” mechanism. There is no need to refuel the vehicles, nor to worry about them breaking. It is almost more of a “simulation of a child builder’s imagination”, where everything is allowed and experimentation is a must. By involving other players online, distributing tasks and playing “role-playing”, the title’s playful peak is reached. However, those who experience RoadCraft alone will notice the hybrid nature which is not entirely realistic, nor “facilitated” enough. Saber’s title has nevertheless proven to be a rather efficient machine.

Pokémon Legends Z-A, in keeping with the series' tradition, is a controversial creation. Game Freak manages, as always, to create a fun and enjoyable adventure, with gameplay that is well-integrated across its various components, but it fails to shake off some now endemic critical issues. The gameplay formula is experimental enough, demonstrating the team's willingness to try different solutions, but it is set in a somewhat flat and personality-less setting. Fortunately, Lumiose City makes up for it with a wide range of activities, both primary and secondary, and delivers what I can wholeheartedly call a good Pokémon experience. Despite its flaws, it brings a slight breath of fresh air and stands as an interesting evolution of Arceus. After years of stagnation, despite some timid steps forward on the gameplay front, we can say that Pokémon Legends confirms its most interesting approach in the series, at least in the Switch era.

The overall quality of the package still stands at more than good levels, just enough to deliver to the players an epilogue worthy of the legend of the Doom Slayer.

It's all about storytelling, and the narrative is really sound and well written. More than anything, the experience lacks rhythm, as those endless strides across the village could've really used some small shortcuts, but it's still an unique experience.
