    The survival of Fade to Silence is certainly good, credible and well structured. Severe for the most hurried players but at the same time will reward strategists. Unfortunately it lacks all that undergrowth of contents that give soul and "color" to a video game, like a real campaign, fiction, secondary activities, not to mention decidedly mediocre graphics and combat system.

    The real problem is that Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past is a 2006 game. Both graphics and user interface are aged and only few people could remember the plot of Shadow Wars. Despite this, the core gameplay is solid and the mash-up between RTS and RPG is a lot of fun. Maybe SpellForce 3 will be a game that anyone will have to play, unfortunately Demons of the Past is for hardcore fans only.

The problem is that this meat is so much that it ends up "burning". The lack of combos and variety is a huge issue for these kind of games, but the new class system is an interesting idea.     Rise of Nightmares is an interesting idea, an ambitious project followed by a catastrophic implementation. Walking on 3D locations sounds really promising, but its charm disappears after 10 minutes because of a too twisted control schema: considering this was the first horror hardcore game for Kinect, we can only hope for a brighter future for this genre.

A weak storyline guides the player through an average campaign mode, and the most interesting things are the co-op campaign and the Bodycount mode (the arcade style mode where you fight for the final grade).
