The speedy pacing and diverse, but limited, mini-games keep the energy high and the excitement rolling. This is one of the can't-miss titles for the brand new PlayStation Move.
  2. Core gamers looking for a deep experience, or loners wanting a solo affair will be gravely disappointed in Start the Party. However, those of you who buy it for what it is meant to be are in for a real treat.

Start the Party! Is a fun mix of minigames and great to play with your friends. The PlayStation Move is well integrated and works perfect with the many minigames. The only sad part is that the game isn't pretty big and that not every minigame is playable as a standalone game.
  4. You can't go far wrong for some cheap multiplayer laughs with Start the Party! but there simply isn't enough long-lasting content to warrant the asking price.
  5. 55
Start the Party! guarantees a fun evening with its 20 mini-games. The singleplayer is boring so be sure to have a lot of friends in the room when you play this one.
  6. Fun for playing with friend while doing a party at home, but it's too casual and it doesn't take advantage of the PlayStation Move.
  7. Start the Party is a collection of entirely un-fun mini games for PlayStation Move with obnoxious presentation. A horrible example of the worst that casual gaming has to offer. Avoid at all costs.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A lot of bad reviews, probably by hard core gamers, but we play this at parties and most people love playing and/or watching it. You are not going kill monsters or enter a dungeon, just play silly games and not care who wins. You don’t play this for the graphics or sound, you play it for fun in a group.

You do need the camera and a motion controller.

It isAn ok game that is more for testing out the move's capabilities. Novelty tends to wear off quite quickly but it deserves a playthrough. It is fun for the whole family but I think is generally for younger players but it does not alienate older players. Hardcore games however, might want to sink their claws into something a little more substantial. So in essence its not a bad game, just not very big or exciting. I enjoyed the painting section though. Expand

Seeing yourself on your television interacting with the screen withThis game has so much potential only to be held back by lazy developing. Seeing yourself on your television interacting with the screen with depth-in-reality is awesome!! There is no other way to describe it, and all of the mini-games are enjoyable, some more so than others but each game will at least bring you entertainment. The obvious and most devastating flaw with the game is the lack of playability, there are only a few games with very few variations of the games. Therefore, beating and mastering this game to its full extent will take you 3 hours at the most, you may have a little fun with your family in this title, but after playing through the scarce mini games once or twice, your gonna move on to a much better title and never pick this up again. ist ein Ps Move Spiel, welches die ersten 10 Minuten Spaß macht und einem dann total auf die nerven geht.
