    game is unbalanced, you can roll on the whole world and every dungeon, roll on the dungeon for unlocking next level, till u come in front of the last boss and he one shot you. yes, u' re over powered for the whole world, the last boss is loosing life like ice under sun, but he one shot you.

    This is the worst... It's so boring.
    The fun of farming items is nonexistent, and leveling is too tedious.
    There are too many elements in the game that make players feel frustrated.
    It feels like the developers are openly mocking the players.

    The way Dev team to extend this game's life cycle is simply nerfing pretty much everything to slow down every player; this is the cold hard fact that proves Dev team's incapability. Also i'm not paying to hear Dev team educate players so cut the crap from patch notes. Dev team should come out of that freaking ivory tower more often.

    Will never buy any Blizzard game.

    I've been disappointed by long waited big releases before, this is nothing new. But I think it's really the first time Blizzard ever let me down. Diablo 4 is at it's heart kind of boring. It has all the loot hunting and monster slaying mechanics that the previous entries had, but with very little of the life and soul. The flavor just isn't there, it's dry. The flavor just isn't there, it's dry. I rarely even care about the loot I pick up because most of it isn't usable without restructuring your entire build around a probably temporary piece of gear that doesn't seem to really feel any better. Diablo 4 has taken away the joy of finding a new legendary and replaced with a great deal of "meh". I thought the throwback to a Diablo 2 style skill tree would be great, but they sucked the life out of that as well with punitive rising costs for changing skills, the skill bar is much too small too explore your abilities and experiment. The story is okay, the main character voice actors are excellent, but ultimately no matter how good of a job they did, the ending was anticlimactic and forgettable. I've little doubt they will milk it for DLC before too long, but honestly, why bother? They put in a half effort on the main game, and I've little interest in rewarding their laziness by paying them again to do a little bit better. Blizzard used to be great, and I will always appreciate the work they once did. Maybe if Activation gets their mitts off of Blizzard they will be a gaming company again instead of the soul less corporate entity that their newest game mirrors.

    On a minor side note, I really miss hearing Brian George's Abd al-Hazir monster entries and James Hong's jewelcrafter story telling, little things like that being barely present at all in DIablo 4, the small details like that added up to make a game that felt far less empty. Diablo 3 was far from perfect, but at least it was fun. Diablo 4 just feels grindy and hollow to me.    … Expand

    Game was excellent before Patch 1.1 and I enjoyed playing a lot. Played hundreds of hours and was striving for reaching lvl 100. Now with all the nerfing and helltides getting gutted, I don't see the point.

    Feels like the time that I've already invested just got wasted by Blizzard with a flick of a number, which speaks volumes if you should ever by another blizzard game.

    D4 story is nice, sound is nice, but that's all, no desire to play every day, and the last patch destroyed the desire to play at all
    Uninstalled this pile of crap, there are enough other games, BG3 around the corner...
    Hopefully Microsoft will clean up this company

The cost of rebuilding your character to try new things is only possible if you, once again play 10+hours a day and even then is just ridiculous. They had 3 previous games to build off of but decided they wanted to shoot for a more AARPG/MMO style game but then start taking out multiplayer aspects because they decided a small percent of players are leveling too fast and shining a spotlight on the fact they biffed the endgame? So the decision was to make leveling even worse for others so they dont have a chance to get there? Not everything is bad but if you throw a pearl in an elephant turd and people arent gonna glove up and look for the pearl. Collapse… Expand

    Your only source of change in this world is buying cosmetics. The world is made incomprehensibly grindy and hard because Blizzard nerfs the content to be that way. The grind is created in the hopes that while you are in the game you will get fed up with playing and buy something to comfort yourself.

    I bought the Season even though everything told me not to. I can tell you right now, you are going to go and do rehashed dungeons with half the power you once wielded with the same talents, and you will be told this is game play. You will pick up nothing of value from these rehashed dungeons. These seasons are created strictly cause POE exist. You must understand I have never commented on metacritic before.

    This time I felt obligated to do so to warn people that this is not a real game. Blizzard couldn't even be moved to change the map once you beat the campaign boss. Absolutely nothing changes once you fell the big bad and save the land. What was the rise in price tag for? For the honor of getting a PC game out of blizzard? You can't even blame the critics who probably got suckered into liking this game. What they received was a copy of something that wasn't truly fulfilled.

    I will give this game a five because the visuals the voice acting and the animation are top notch. I wish the game play was just as compelling. It's a shame that all this artistic talent has been wasted on poor game designers and world builders.

    Blizzard knows how to make a game, they just don't think they have to. I am ashamed I bought this product twice proving them right. Never again.    … Expand

    The game design is a joke. No respect for player's time, you work days for a build so it gets nerfed into the ground.
    Oh and whoever designed Uber Lilith oneshot wave spam in that arena of the same color should not work in game dev. Have a 0 and enjoy your joke of a game.

    I made an account just to leave a bad feedback for diablo iv. The nerf for sorcerer is unbelievable! Also they made me look stupid that i did buy the game day one! The literally canceled my character and 80+ hours of gaming for season 1!

Instead of add mon contenu they only nerf to make you go slower and stay on the game longer.     I have been loving the game so far, everything from story, to the combat and the world, they are all so amazing, its been a blast going through and exploring everything in the world while getting tons of amazing loot. Been a fan of the Diablo games for years, This game is like a perfect mix of Diablo II and Diablo III. I have been enjoying all the changes to Season 1 as well, overall wouldI have been loving the game so far, everything from story, to the combat and the world, they are all so amazing, its been a blast going through and exploring everything in the world while getting tons of amazing loot. Been a fan of the Diablo games for years, This game is like a perfect mix of Diablo II and Diablo III. I have been enjoying all the changes to Season 1 as well, overall would recommend the game to anyone that wants a good ARPG to play, dont listen to the haters on here who are review bombing the game, they are just mad over the latest patch cause they cant do 3 billion damage anymore… Expand

    Possibly the most overrated game I’ve ever played. The gameplay and fighting in it are dire. Every fight is the same; every boss looks the same with its faded red color and generic size/shape.

    Check the difference between the 'critics" and the community, I think we can safely assume the mainstream reviews were bought off, too afraid to critic Blizz or lose future review access. The game is a shallow, pointless and dull experience. It's junk. I regret wasting money on it.

    This is a game that starts off strong, but you realize it was just a trick to get your money, the devs don't care about fan feedback, the first season was absolutely boring, and a reskin of everything were already have in the game, this game has potential but the devs won't let it thrive.

Enchanter options have been reduced so you have less possible outcomes with exponentially increasing costs that can eliminate several hours worth of gold for a few rolls. It takes around 20x longer to reach max level as it did in Diablo 3.

    All of the seasonal rewards can be purchased directly for around $125 (so you don't need to play the season to get them), and the game prominently features "microtransactions" for cosmetics that can run $25 a pop.

    Forget the fun you had playing Diablo 2 & 3. Old Blizzard is dead.    … Expand

    After the recent live stream from the devs regarding patch 1.1.0, I made an account just to give this game a zero. The devs are so disconnected from reality, they clearly don’t play their own game and it’s easy for them to nerf things to the ground in a matter of hours but it takes months to fix bugs/buff characters. This game sucks please stay away.

    I played baba to level 100 during free season, I faced lot of inconvenient stuff in game. like inventory.
    and nerf to make feel inconvenient and play harder.

    This is the first Diablo title I’ve played and I’ve loved it. The latest patch was a bit disheartening but I love how responsive the devs are to feedback and how transparent they have been with their plans. They seem to really care about the community!!

The way some of the classes are designed makes the game extremely grindy and choppy, where traditionally an ARPG would be faster paced and smooth. I dont understand why they would make nerfs to classes that are already notoriously weak. Are they only watching the top .00000001% video footage when making decisions? they should be the exception, not the rule. us "causals" want to be able to log into the game for a couple hours a day and feel a sense of accomplishment during that session.....… Expand

For months I hyped my friends and shilled for Blizzard hoping they would not pull an "Immortal" and actually give us a decent product. This game is souless. I forced myself to get a toon to level 100 just for the love of the I.P but my journey ends there. The way they added pay to win is gross and sucks anyVery deceived.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
