Summary: Paul catches Rebecca and Oliver leaving the house as they head to the new ransom drop off point and begs them to wait for the police.

Nick gives up on his search for Declan and, still determined to collect the money from Oliver, comes up with a devious plan.
At the ransom drop, Oliver hands over the money, but Rebecca is devastated when she realises that Declan is not in the car, that it is simply Laura posing as Declan.
The kidnappers try to make their escape but are caught by the police and when Laura confesses to knowing that Declan is hiding in the bush and is injured, Adam sends a search party.
The doctors confirm that Bridget is coming out of her coma, however they advise caution, wanting to wait and see what damage has been done. Trying to increase their efforts at gaining a response, it isn’t until the latest sports report is read that Bridget finally speaks.
Toadie frets over Susan’s decision to plead guilty to the accident. When Steph encourages Toadie to take a break and attend Jake’s birthday party at the Parker household, he is accused of using the party to gather evidence.
