At Alan Napier's funeral, Oliver is served with papers from his brother, who is contesting Oliver's position in the family business.
Determined not to let his brother ruin everything, Oliver vows to sell the business. However, when he takes the sale documents to Toadie's office, Diana refuses to allow him to do anything so underhanded.
In a momentary mistake, Rebecca accidentally sends the sale documents to Will's lawyer, Tim Collins, who freezes Oliver's assets, causing a mortified Rebecca to offer her resignation.
