Summary: The Parker family unites at the hospital as Bridget undergoes emergency surgery. As the news spreads, Neighbours gather at Charlie’s in a vigil and Susan heads to the hospital to comfort her friend Miranda.
Ned and Janae reveal to the police that Mickey saw Declan’s car driving away soon after the accident. Mickey also adds that he sawThe Parker family unites at the hospital as Bridget undergoes emergency surgery. As the news spreads, Neighbours gather at Charlie’s in a vigil and Susan heads to the hospital to comfort her friend Miranda.
Ned and Janae reveal to the police that Mickey saw Declan’s car driving away soon after the accident. Mickey also adds that he saw Declan and Bridget fighting at the lake earlier, heightening police officer Adam and Sophie’s suspicions.
Declan is devastated to learn of Bridget’s condition and races to the hospital to see her. However, once there, he learns that he is the prime suspect and flees from the police.
He goes into hiding at Lassiter’s after accepting Nick’s offer to stay in their room for the night. Laura is horrified to find him there, and Nick tells her that their plan to kidnap Declan is back on, as they didn’t even have to do anything to make it happen.
Susan is shocked to hear that Declan is thought to be responsible for the accident. She is even more shocked when she hears Rebecca say that Oliver should have sold the car sooner. When she confirms the description of the car, Susan races to Karl, asking him if the car he has for the test drive was the one Oliver was selling.
When Karl confirms this, Susan comes to the horrifying realisation that she was driving the car at the time, and is therefore responsible for hitting Bridget!
