Kirsten invites Ned and Janae to a BBQ in the park when she realises that Ned hasOliver and Declan bond as Oliver also feigns genuine concern for Richard leading up to the kidney donation.

Kirsten invites Ned and Janae to a BBQ in the park when she realises that Ned has forgotten that it is Mickey's birthday.
Tim Collins convinces her to use this to their advantage and also talks to Mickey, telling him to keep the secret from his Dad.
Ned and Mickey arrive at the BBQ and a horrified Ned realises what has happened and that Mickey is about to be disappointed by him.
Luckily, Janae realises before it is too late, and along with Harald and Lou, comes to his rescue, bringing plenty of birthday gifts for Mickey.
After the party, Ned admits to Mickey that he forgot about his birthday but Mickey announces that just having his Dad there meant it was the best birthday ever.
