Summary: Without realising she has actually hit Bridget, Susan leaves the scene of the accident, returns home and falls asleep again.
Mickey and Jake are returning home from the park when they spot Declan’s car and head towards it, wanting to ask for a ride home. The car however, drives off and Mickey quickly spots Bridget lying on the road.Without realising she has actually hit Bridget, Susan leaves the scene of the accident, returns home and falls asleep again.
Mickey and Jake are returning home from the park when they spot Declan’s car and head towards it, wanting to ask for a ride home. The car however, drives off and Mickey quickly spots Bridget lying on the road.
Mickey flags down the next passing car, who happens to be Karl, Rachel and Zeke returning from the school. Karl manages to keep Bridget breathing until the ambulance arrives. They follow the ambulance to the hospital, and then Karl sends Rachel and Zeke home.
Upon their arrival, they tell Susan what has happened, who is appalled at the news of the hit and run, still not realising she is to blame.
Steve, still angry that Bridget has run away, confronts Declan, believing he is to blame. Miranda calls Bridget again, expecting to leave another voicemail message for her. However, at the accident scene, Rachel answers the phone and tells Miranda what has happened. Steve and Miranda forget their anger and race to the hospital.
Rebecca tries to talk to Declan about Steve’s accusations, but Declan shuts her out. He finds an ally in Nick, who appears to understand what he is going through, however Nick has another plan in mind. To kidnap Declan and extort money from Oliver. Declan, however, is facing bigger problems as Mickey has revealed to Ned and Janae that he saw Declan’s car leaving the scene of the accident…
