A living, breathing, Cezanne that will not hesitate to cover itself in blood, wink bitterly at you as it runs deeper down the rabbit hole and whose propensity to stun, mesmerize and redefine everything you thought you knew about the concept of “expansion packs”, will have a lasting impact upon the video game industry. Pentiment intertwines art, story, and even philosophy itself into a game that ought to be a benchmark for narrative games. Obsidian took the essence of the games that they are renowned for, which is none other than the "cause and effect" in terms of our choices and places them in a historical context. This is a special, virtually flawless title that we highly recommend to all those who love history and narrative games.

A monumental achievement of staggeringly aching beauty, the Witcher III stands proudly as the greatest video game of all time, regardless of genre. Geralt's final, epic ride, is the high water-mark by which all future games will be judged and found lacking. Indeed, it's only disadvantage is that it completely ruins every other title on the market right now by nailing every single aspect of game design with almost supernatural clarity and perfection. If you play one video game in your life, make sure it's this one.

Ghost Recon Wildlands does not really innovate. However, it offers enjoyable tactical stealth gameplay set in an impressive, vast world, and provides a fun, memorable and rewarding experience in both co-op and solo playthroughs. Main missions are well-designed and offer great variety and challenge, and although the story is rather predictable, it has great presentation and ample amounts of information to support it. It is, in its core, a true Tom Clancy title and worthy successor to the Ghost Recon series.

One might feel a bit "bummed out" by the episodic nature of the expansion (with Part II expected to come out in the winter, no less), but the fact remains that The White March - Part I is an excellent addition all-in-all, providing us with quality content that expands on what we already loved about the core game.

Warhammer: Vermintide II is a sequel done right and then some. Improved in all its aspects, it will challenge seasoned and new players alike with its difficulty and demands of tactical planning. Definitely worth checking it out.

Metroidvania at its best: big map, well-hidden secrets, intense fighting mechanisms, demanding platforming and really a lot of chickens.

Valheim came virtually out of nowhere, but it is undoubtedly a phenomenon that has marked PC gaming in the first months of 2021. Despite its Early Access status, it is already remarkably rich with quality content that can be enjoyed both solo and grouped, and its future looks even brighter. [Early Access Review]

Mika and the Witch's Mountain is an aesthetically pleasing title from Spanish studio Chibig that respects and converses with the original medium from which it draws inspiration. It's a cute short coming of age adventure that elegantly touches on the condition of labor without reaching the point of becoming a preachy manifesto. [Early Access Score = 76]

Death Trash is literally a game about PIXELATED MEAT. Even though it is heavily influenced by Fallout, it seems to lack any similarly deep moral and philosophical ambiguity, memorable NPCs or open-ended questlines (in its Early Access state, at least) and instead focuses mainly on delivering an imposingly grotesque post-apocalyptic atmosphere filled with blood, vomit, machines and MEAT. Its Meatpunk aesthetics definitely manage to win us over in this EA release, as well as make us look forward to how the game's content will be further enriched in the future. [Early Access Review]

Most of Rustler's mechanisms are directly inspired by the first GTA games. This, combined with the games Monty Python-inspired sense of humor, result in a truly unique blend. Some aspects, like the lack of manual or even checkpoint saves, might be a bit "too hardcore for today's world", but its Early Access status means that feedback can be received and that any shortcomings can be remedied.
