The new modern strategy game standard for the next 20 years. Amazing sandbox of modern military technology. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

First Light is a solid expansion to the inFamous franchise, but it sort of wastes some it's potential. The storyline is almost painfully predictable. While Fetch's fragility is endearing, she comes off as a rather weak protagonist. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Planetary Annihilation looks and feels underwhelming. Interplanetary combat might seem fun on paper, but gameplay-wise it's an absolute chore. And that's just it, Planetary Annihilation is missing all the FUN which was present on Supreme Commander - a much better successor to Total Annihilation. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

is a pretty, fast and varied arcade racing game in an open world. The off-road-surfaces should be a bit more uneven or maybe softer, though. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Despite the dark setup, Shadow of Mordor doesn’t offer any surprises. It’s a solid action-adventure spiced up with some RPG elements and a familiar license. As far as the license games go, Talion’s trek is well executed mesh of Arkham games and Assassin’s Creed. You could do a lot worse. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Well, obviously this had to be done. Bioshock is a beautiful iShooter, but unfortunately the controls are absolutely horrible. Here we have one of the best FPS games on iPad. This tells a sad story of a genre that’s totally wrong for the platform. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

) Unity of Command looks like a strategy game but is actually an excellent puzzle game. Operation Barbarossa DLC is easier than the basic game which makes it a good starting point. [Oct 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Hohokum is a conundrum as it doesn't quite feel like a proper game. It's a bright and cheerful Snake clone that focuses on offering as relaxing experience as possible. The lack of a proper goal and complete lack of challenge are a bit hard to swallow. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

This clever - if somewhat amateurish - mod replaces the famous portal gun with a gel gun. Still it's not clever enough as bouncing around with the gels can't compete with the variety the portals had. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The game is a thoroughly atmospheric side scrolling action adventure game. The action feels a touch too limited and a touch too clumsy and the adventuring is rather basic. The negatives are almost offset by a very engaging storyline. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story develops, but in order for this to become a cult classic the gameplay could use some additional development. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

If urban infantry combat with very limited access to vehicles is your thing, you can't go wrong with the Dragon's Teeth map pack. The four new maps are all solid with the superb "Propaganda" having all the trappings of a new fan-favourite. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The card game takes one step forward and two steps backwards. Free deckbuilding is a big plus, but when you consider that the play modes from old Duels are cut completely and some of the card pool available is behind an IAP paywall, the new Duels doesn't compare well against other, cheaper, slicker and - quite frankly - more fun competition like Hearthstone. Duels is simple not on par with the competition. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The game is a little too fond of genre conventions like fixing broken machines and conveying storyline through letters and other notes. Other than that Ether One is an excellent adventure title. It's nonlinear, charming and as challenging as you want it to be. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

While the storyline is a bit lackluster, The Room still manages to be a polished and intriguing experience. The puzzles are mostly fun to solve and the enhancements for PC version ensure that the game looks, sounds and plays great. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

With all the smart adjustments to the controls and inventory, Diablo III translates extremely well to the consoles. There's a lot to like about the expansive Ultimate Evil Edition and it easily ranks as one of the best titles available for Xbox One. Great work, Blizzard. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Having played Diablo titles exclusively on the PC, I was surprised to find out how well Diablo III plays on PlayStation 4. The gameplay is as addictive as ever and it's hard to fault the console version's local co-op and supersized loot drops. [Sept 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

By moving the entertaining zombie survival antics from a hicktown to the big city city, State of Decay practically evolves into a new game. No improvement on technical aspects, though - textures are ugly and those zombies "hordes" are a joke. The lack of co-op doesn't help. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

The latest Angry Birds title is a welcome addition to a franchise, which hasn't seen much change since its inception back in 2009. This time you don't smack pigs with a slingshot. Instead, you get a taste of simplified turn-based RPG combat, which works like a charm. The major downside of Angry Birds Epic is its free-to-play format. In a true Japanese-style RPG, you'd never spend real money to buy stuff to make health potions. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Without a doubt Spintires is the best trucking game I've ever played. When muddy physics are combined with crappy vehicles, the outcome is truly unique. Spintires is a survival game, where you have to make do with big cars in a soft terrain. [Aug 2014]- Pelit (Finland)
