If you reach for the stars you can fall short and still be head and shoulders above others. A proper tactical/strategic AI and improved capital ship combat (see Starfleet Command for a great example) would place the sequel into the "game of the year" or "space sim of the century" category. Vampyre Story is hilarious and witty point'n click adventure game with striking graphics and high quality voice acting. If you're looking for hard puzzles, maybe this isn't the game.
