is a very good addition to the Trials-franchise. Progression requires skills developed by training. It's not (yet) better than Trials Evolution, though. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Although Lego The Hobbit is a fairly good game, it's yet again another clone of the Traveller's Tales' Lego franchise. The game mechanics haven't changed and especially monotonous combat system really gets to my nerves. The journey was also unexpected, as the game covers only the two first movies and the third installation of the series is coming later on as an DLC package. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Ancient Battle: Alexander is a light and entertaining turn-based hex-strategy game, which depicts the battles of Alexander the Great. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Fract OSC is an oddity. It's a game about electronic music that is first and foremost a glorious organic whole, with all the elements and puzzles of its beautiful world intricately connecting to each other. And it's really good. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Battlefield 4's third DLC is far from perfect, but at least it manages to offer four highly enjoyable maps. The new game mode Carrier Assault looks great on paper, but fails to deliver a dynamic Battlefield experience. Naval Strike's lack of new surface combatants is really puzzling. Are small patrol boats really the best Battlefield 4 can do? [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Stupid little thing that proves, that you can make it with a crappy game, as long as you remember to monetize from a bad joke and the hype vortex circulating it. All in all, Goat Simulator offers laughs through totally screwed up physics engine. You either love it or hate it. Probably hate it. Coffee Stain Studios willingly made a crappy game, so kudos for that. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good tank combat game. It's reasonably realistic, but clearly not a simulation. [March 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Il-2 Cliffs of Dover is full of hidden potential, but due to a disastrous amount of bugs, design decisions and totally unfinished features it remains well hidden. The project failed to deliver on the promises and was finally abandoned – but not by modders. And that, my friends, is why this could still become someone's finest hour. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Oceanhorn proves that there's still room for premium games in the tablet market. Almost AAA grade production values in an iGame are something that you don't see everyday. Sure, it's a Zelda rip-off, but this heist is done with love and respect. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good action RPG in a sandbox-like Hyrule. The game features a redefined equipment progression along with the nice flattening trick. It's a bit on the easy side, though. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Lego and Marvel are a match made in heaven. The game is by far Traveller's Tales' best achievement. Although the action degenerates still to monotonous button-smashing. Hopefully this is fixed in the next game. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Lego Star Trek. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Mario Galaxies have finally gotten the follow up they so rightfully deserve. Fun, exciting and surprising, Super Mario 3D World is everything a good platformer needs to be. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Dominions 4 is a turn-based strategy game set in a non-traditional fantasy world filled with various nations inspired by mythology and religion. As a player you first pick a nation and then customize your god. Then you just need to wipe out all the other factions and their false gods. Isn't that simple? The game really shines in multiplayer mode because fighting against real humans feels much better than dealing with AI factions that can't even use diplomacy. The best thing about Dominions 4 is the fact that it has tons of depth and replayability but it's a shame that the graphics and user interface are outdated. Well, I guess you can't have everything. Hack & slash games are addictive because they follow a simple formula: kill, kill and kill some more. Path of Exile is no different in this regard. During your quest in the perilous continent of Wraeclast you need to slay thousands and thousands of monsters but it never gets boring because there are a plenty of fresh ideas like the very vast skill system and barter-based economy that differentiate it from other similar games. But it's not a perfect game. The story is weak and the difficulty level is too low in the beginning. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Divekick's minimalist approach works well. While the game is very easy to pick up, it still has enough depth to keep also fighting game connoisseurs entertained for a good while. Even the cheap jokes are funny. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

If you like breasts, Japanese rpg games and beat'em'ups, Dragon's Crown is for you. It's Diabloish hack'n'slash spiced with nice game mechanics and a nice multiplayer co-op. And did I mention it has breasts? Well, it has. In all shapes and sizes. [Dec 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is a very pretty adventure, which uses various puzzles where other games would use action or fights. The puzzles should be a bit more in tune with the story and the locations, though. [Nov 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Shadow Warrior is highly 90’s in a very good way. Pace is fast, health kits are in, guns are powerful, action is great, puns are bad and there is lot of flying blood and boy parts. The letdown is level design: they are too bland. [Nov 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

F1 2013 is a pretty ambiguous package. On one hand it's the best lightweight F1 simulation ever, but on the other hand it feels like an another season update with overpriced DLC's and burden of current gen consoles. I think it really would benefit from updates like warmup laps and all the drama surrounding F1 circus. [Nov 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Arkham Origins is very fun to play and very easy to forget as soon as you're done. Kicking butt as Batman is still a joy and the Invisible Predator scenes are as excellent as ever, but the game's almost complete lack of surprises weighs the experience severely down. [Nov 2013]- Pelit (Finland)
