Strider is a very good 2D platform adventure with good combat elements and nice bosses. Checkpoints could be better and the levels are a bit too dark in places. [March 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Lightning Returns shows us a flashy new wardrobe but looks still rule over personality. Sadly Lightnings chance of clothes does nothing for the lack of her personality. Overall it is enjoyable, but messy story and flimsy characters don't do it any favours. [March 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Not the best brand relaunch ever, but forgetting the great predecessors, it's a decent game of its own. [March 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

There's nothing original about Lords of Shadow 2. It borrows heavily from God of War and doesn't come to close in matching it. However it still doesn't meant that Castlevania isn't a decent game and pretty good entertainment. The action is solid and the ability to explore freely is a good addition. I didn't expect anything from this South Park RPG, but The Stick of Truth is one of the best license games ever made. It's as obnoxious as the TV series, as it should be. The script is made with love and the RPG elements fit in to the franchise like a glove. [March 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

An interesting adventure with two popular pacifist heroes. Nothing really new here, though. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

One of the best free-to-play games on the market because you can actually play this one for free and have a good time while doing so. It is easy to learn and fun to master. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Garden Warfare is a humorous FPS with funny characters and odd weapons. There's not much TD-stuff left, though. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

As the Dead Nation moves from PS3 to PS4, only little has changed. The textures are a notch sharper and there's a new game mode, that demonstrates the streaming capabilities of the PS4, but other than that, the game is the same four year-olds old top-down zombie shooter. It's still a solid shooter, but nowadays the zombies are literally EVERYWHERE. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Titanfall is a highly entertaining online shooter, but it's a bit light on content for a full priced game. You quickly start to realize that Titanfall could desperately use more maps, more unlockables, more upgrades and more customization. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Wazhack transfers NetHack to a new perspective and succeeds! Except for garish graphics, even oh so trendy 16-bit retro graphics would work better. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Although free to play is the biggest trend in mobile games at the moment, it doesn't fit too well with Puzzle Quest. I'd pay ten bucks for this in a heartbeat for experiencing the campaign, but now I'm left with monotonous grinding and replaying same missions over and over in order to level my heroes to the point, that I can progress to the next fight. Pvp-games are crippled, because the matches are won by those, who are willing to spend money on their hero roster. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls makes the necessary changes to make Diablo 3 a legit good and fun game. Removing the auction house and bringing in Loot 2.0 is the correct move, but will the game suffer long term from essentially removing trading all together? Adventure Mode, with the random Nephalem Rifts in particular is a wonderful addition that should bring a ton of longevity. Especially because it lets one skip the lackluster way Diablo 3 still handles the strong plot elements from the earlier games. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Yoshi's New Island is a fun, cute and a lot easier platformer than other recent Nintendo games. It's a perfect match for a platformer novice, but gives thrills to a veteran too, especially when used as a sedative between much harder games. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Rambo sucks major ass, but the game is actually so bad, that in some crooked way it's good. It's an interactive turd, but the transition from bad action movies to bad action games is as smooth as possible. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Total War: Rome 2 : Hannibal at the Gates Second Punic war is an excellent theme for a DLC. The conflict is a reasonable small-scaled but still Carthage acts as a strong counterforce against Rome. [May 2014]- Pelit (Finland)
