Let's Revolution! is a Minesweeper-inspired rogue-lite that is simple to understand. However, the action is moreish and I loved the varied heroes. Moreover, the casual and short playtime keeps you focused on each tactical layer. Sadly, it can be repetitive and gamers may become frustrated with the trial and error.

I truly think A Tale of Paper: Refolded is worth checking out on its presentation alone. The game oozes style, mystery and emotion through its beautiful visuals and enthralling sound design and score. The story itself tells a tale of purpose and determination and Line is an appealing character. It’s just a shame at times the gameplay can be frustrating and platforming can be tedious and generic. This edition doesn’t many more additions for previous owners of the game, bar a few tacked on extra levels. However, for newcomers, this game is certainly worth grabbing. A great example of creating an engaging and emotional story through high quality presentation. One word just keeps coming back to me for this game and that is simply- endearing.

It’s hard to like something that combined many elements of things you don’t like, but when that happens and you fail those multiple elements, it just makes the experience so much worse. I give the game a 4.5/10. It’s got some greatness in atmosphere and its performance is rock solid. This seems like a game that would be nice, but there is tons of ironing out to do before moving on to the next project.

My conclusion for Sherwood Extreme is that it is a grand concept but much less a game. The combat is fluid, the enemies, albeit easy, are very fun to fight and the map design for the very little there was, was very fun to navigate. In Short, this labour of love is in need of more time in the oven of Love!

Sclash is a simple side-scrolling experience. However, though it is straightforward, the familiar tale is fantastic. Biomorph may not be the soulslike it was perceived to be, but it set itself apart by impressing me with its transformational mechanics, strong customizable kit and riveting sci-fi story. Like the name suggests, you can morph into your enemies gaining a new and unique moveset. The foundations have all been laid, the walls erected, now Legion IX just needs a roof and a coat of paint. Despite this, I would recommend this title to anyone unfamiliar with the Tactical RPG scene. It’s simple to learn and rewarding to master, with various difficulties that cater to every audience possible. If anything, I recommend switching the starting difficulty to hard, rather than normal, as this mode won’t challenge you (apart from some weird difficulty spikes near the end). I would certainly recommend Indika to any fans of platformers or story-driven adventures. It doesn’t take long at all to connect with these characters and the story. One warning is the game is quite short, it currently sits with an average of a four-hour playtime on Howlongtobeat.com. It’s also not the most replayable experience, there isn’t much outside of the story to do. So if you’re looking for something to keep you entertained for a longer time frame, this might not be for you. Unicorn Overlord is a cleverly designed Tactics RPG whose strategic systems will hook its player early on. The openness of the map warrants a quest that is full of objectives that are all self-fulfilling and purposeful to complete. Harvest Hunt has a great foundation: a deep and twisted story and enthralling gameplay. It has so much going for it, and yet, it’s just not quite there. There’s obviously a lot of love in this project, and that passion is clear when you read the compendium and sift through the hand-drawn art. But I fear that novelty may just wear off too quickly with a lot of players. We need variation, new settings, and a change of pace. Overall, Empty Shell is an enjoyable Rogue-lite with a unique look and great horror elements. Reminiscent of past horror games, and with satisfying combat, Empty Shell is great to play in short bursts. While the gameplay loop may put some people off, if you are a horror fan, you could do a lot worse than Empty Shell. Furthermore, there is a wealth of lore hidden around the facility, and if you let the story ensnare you, you could get addicted to the experience of running through the facility narrowly escaping death at every turn.

It is definitely a nice experience if this is the sort of game you are into. To me the walking back and forth and talking with the same no voice acted characters to see if there’s something I missed was tedious, but definitely rewarding when my brain finally clicked and I solved the puzzle / riddle. The game is sitting at $10.59 which in my opinion isn’t worth it for a 3 hour experience with no replay-ability factor but that may be due to me not being a fan of such games. With that in mind I still commend the game for what it is. A story focused puzzle experience, and this it does pretty well.

The DioField Chronicle is a Fantasy tactical rpg where the gamer controls a group of mercenaries called Blue Fox. The combination between the real-time battle system with the traditonal tactical settings gave the game a new and distinctive experience from both other SE rpgs and tactical rpgs.

As I start playing the game, its engaging experience brings surprise to me. Do not be fooled by its casual-like appearance as it does requires some thinking to do. It’s wrong to think planting down the tiles without concerning the consequences will fills in all the gap. In my humble opinion, it’s not just about fill in the gap. It’s about trying my best in evolving the terrains into populated lands and working my best to counter the cataclysms with my technology. In overall, I recommend to give this game a try if players want to try a beginner level city building simulator genre.

MLB The Show 24 is a great baseball simulator that has a very enjoyable gameplay that does not have annoying bugs and can entertain you for a long time with its various game modes. Visually it’s just fine but it could have been better. If you want to play a baseball simulator for the first time, this game is the best choice.

Ario is a colourful 2.5D adventure title. However, much of its gameplay is lacklustre and the story is just as bland. Disappointingly, I was expecting much more, but it didn't deliver. As such, there are better alternatives available.

Juicy Realm offers a roguelike with a truly unique setting. SpaceCan have done a fantastic job creating this crazy world with stunning visuals and beautiful enemy design. While its short length and bizarre sound design choices at times hinder the game, it’s still a blast, especially when played with a friend. Considering this is SpaceCan’s first attempt in the video game space, it’s exciting to see what they can come up with next. Let’s hope it’s as fruity as this one!

Petty complaints aside, Isonzo is a rather well-rounded experience. If you can gather a little team, and form a squad, then that’s the way to go here. You’re in for a treat. If you’re playing alone, it’ll be tough, but you’ll still have a good time. Immerse yourself in history, imagine the actual people who went through the grueling trials of combat, and the experience will be more meaningful. Whether it’s the vibrant landscapes or swelling soundtrack, Isonzo has a little bit for everyone. It can comfortably take its place as a real contender in the historical FPS genre.

Overall, I’d say Lawn Mowing Simulator is a serviceable simulation of what it is like to mow lawns. While this is not my kind of game, I can see why others would value it and become addicted to it with its wealth of game modes. However, the menus are clunky, DLC is offered as soon as you start the game, and the graphics are poor, despite doing their job. Any game’s value comes down to its gameplay elements and unlike the great titles out there, the core gameplay elements of Lawn Mowing Simulator are not satisfying, or addictive enough to make this game worth my time. As far as simulation games go, Lawn Mowing Simulator is an average title and should be avoided unless you are passionate about mowing lawns.

To put it simply, ‘CipherCraft: An overly long title about cyber security’ doesn’t live up to its potential as a fun PC Shop/Cybersecurity game. It’s disappointing because it doesn’t give players the engaging experience they were hoping for. Instead of being exciting and interesting, the game feels boring and average. It’s a shame because it could have been so much better if it had more depth and excitement.
