Would I recommend it? Absolutely. The joy of solving puzzles together, the rich fantasy world, and the rewarding teamwork elements make Split Fiction a game that stands out in the co-op genre. Weather you’re enjoying the game with a partner who isn’t typically into gaming, or a friend that you’ve been gaming with for years, this is one of the best options out there.

If you’re looking for a brief, no-pressure game for kids or just want a quick trip down memory lane, Frips and Froops offer that. But beyond that, there’s not much else to sink your teeth into. So, while it’s not groundbreaking, it’s still a harmless, if brief, experience.

Snezhinka overall ends up being a truly mixed bag. It has a muddling story that tries to make things emotional and serious but fails to achieve this, but it also has some fantastic gameplay that keeps you invested enough to see out the short tale. Coupled with fantastic visual design, and truly superb sound design and score, there’s enough here for the player to sink their teeth into for a few hours. I’m just left wondering what truly could have been if everything had come together. See you on the battlefield!

Centum is not a game for everyone, but for those who appreciate psychological horror, esoteric storytelling, and challenging puzzles, it’s a must-play. With its eerie atmosphere, thought-provoking design, and compelling mystery, Centum proves that horror doesn’t need to rely on cheap tricks to be truly terrifying. If you’re looking for a game that will haunt you long after the credits roll, Centum is worth your time. Note that I only want to include screenshots from the very first scenes as they portray the style and atmosphere that is set throughout the experience without spoiling anything ahead of you if you wish to experience it yourself.

Eternal Strands is a stellar addition to the action-adventure genre. Its captivating world, innovative mechanics, and engaging narrative combine to create an experience that is both immersive and rewarding. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the game, I can confidently say that the only reason Eternal Strands is being held back from a perfect score is only a few minor details. Highly recommend the entry to anyone seeking a rich and fulfilling adventure. My personal game of the year contender so far.

The story, UI, and animations are definite highlights, and the synthesis system remains a strong point. I will recommend this to anyone that wants to chill, gather, craft and switch off for a while. All in all, Eyes of War brings a fun spin to the RTS genre with its seamless blend of strategy and action. The ability to jump into the shoes of any soldier mid-battle is something you don’t see every day, and it spices up the experience. If you’re in it for the spectacle of giant robots and tactical combat, MechWarrior 5: Clans might just scratch that itch. Just be prepared to forgive its many missteps and focus on what truly matters—making things go boom.

Albatroz is a stunning game of self-discovery. Moreover, the story is interesting and the setting is wonderful. Though it won't be for everyone, I fell for its melancholy charms.

REDACTED is a fun but challenging roguelike experience. The RNG elements may piss you off. Furthermore, the grindy layer could be too much. However, if you can work through these elements, you'll love the action that lies ahead.

Killing Time: Resurrected is an old-school Boomer-Shooter with a rudimentary approach. However, the big map and strange ideas are captivating. Moreover, I love the FMV and the storytelling. If you want a challenging experience, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Orange Season was disappointing! This tried and tested genre should have been fun. However, the gameplay was flat and the game is so buggy that you will become annoyed. Unless it gets some serious updates, this is one to avoid!

The story, the jokes and ear massaging voice acting, make LocoMotive something worth a recommendation.

Jackbox Naughty Pack is an adult themed gaming experience. Though the content is a little silly, it will make you laugh with the right group. Moreover, each game is relatively short and this makes a great ice breaker. However, there is limited appeal if you don't have a great group of friends.

Kong: Survivor Instinct is a puzzle platformer that lacks bite. Unfortunately, the developers never unleashed the reigns and this prevented it from reaching its potential. This was a shame as Kong and the other titans didn't sit in the spotlight for long enough.

Parcel Corps is a fun casual game. However, it can become repetitive if you play it for long periods. As such, this is ideal if you want a break from COD or other time-sink endeavours.

Dagon: Complete Edition is a love letter to some of HP Lovecraft’s earliest tales. It tells gripping narratives across four separate tales with superb visuals and sound design. This type of media is certainly not for everyone but for fans of Lovecraft there is enough to satisfy your hunger with the in game collectibles on offer to uncover. It’s just a shame the experience is extremely short; I long for games that can tell these tales but in a AAA format. But for now, this will certainly do.

Necro Story is a fun auto-battler with an interesting story. Moreover, I enjoyed the tactical approach and the interesting world. My only complaint is the slow opening segment.

Totally Spies! Cyber Mission is a fun but simple family-friendly title. Your kids will adore this 3-player experience. Furthermore, the dialogue is light-hearted, albeit annoying for adults. It is straightforward and lacking in difficulty, but this isn't a complaint. Accordingly, your children can tackle it with little guidance.
