Oct 29, 2024Overall, I’ve had a blast playing A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. It nails the sense of dread and atmosphere, and regularly did I find myself on the edge of my seat as I just evaded the creature again. The use of Alex’s asthma is handled well, albeit a bit over-done at times, but it adds to the fear and horror of the experience. The use of a mic in real life is a short-lived gimmick, but other than that this is a great survival horror stealth title that makes tremendous use of the Quiet Place setting.

Oct 28, 2024If you're seeking a tense and atmospheric horror experience, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is an excellent choice.

Jan 24, 2025A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead keeps you on your toes throughout. It is creepy, uncomfortable, and just a little challenging. However, it is the silence that is deafening. If you can stay silent, you have every chance of surviving.

Oct 21, 2024A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead delivers plenty of spooks throughout its roughly eight-hour adventure, but it does run out of ideas somewhat during the back half of that runtime. When called upon, the cast is well-acted (even if the story is quite threadbare) and the whole thing does enough to cement itself as a worthy entry in the 'A Quiet Place' universe, which is a nice achievement for Stormind Games. Some more late-game variety and additional options for dealing with the enemy could have made this a horror great, but as it stands, The Road Ahead is just a decent romp through what's becoming quite a popular movie universe. Horror game aficionados and A Quiet Place superfans should definitely consider this one, but for those less experienced, there are better options out there on the horror game market.

Nov 21, 2024A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a decent game to try out for fans of the movies and survival horror fans. If you can look past some of its problems, the game is quite well made and unique. Fans of Alien Isolation will most likely find something to enjoy with this game. It’s not perfect, but there are definitely moments of greatness here and there.

Oct 21, 2024In the skin of a young woman with respiratory and anxiety problems, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead invites us to survive in a horror game that will force us to be fast, intuitive and very, very quiet. The juicy world of A Quiet Place is perfectly adapted to the video game with a series of very well thought out mechanics that manage to justify each new step in our escape from horror. To this is added a very powerful visual world and a story that adapts to the spirit of the films and manages to stand out in the crowded catalog of horror games.

Oct 22, 2024A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a certainly flawed but also intriguing attempt to make a video game out of a premise that seems not to be conducive to this medium. Crouch-walking around a monster for several hours should've probably been a worse experience, but it proves to be a sound idea that may have been a cult classic if it only had more attention to detail.
