Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a tour de force in how to bring anime into the gaming space. A compelling faithful retelling of a story fans love, superb combat and stunning visual and audio design make this game a really special experience. Whilst the lack of additions may upset some returning players, along with the weak gear system, there’s still so much fun to be had in this game. You can really feel the love and care the developers have poured into this sequel! See you in the arena!- Movies Games and Tech

In the end, Equate 8: A Math Puzzle Game is more than just a game; it’s a cozy and clever math adventure. Its personal touch, from the charming graphics to the relaxing feel and the wonderful lack of timers, makes it a true gem in the world of mobile games. It’s a refreshing change from titles that are constantly trying to get you to spend money or rush through the gameplay. This game is all about the pure fun of solving a puzzle and the simple joy of learning. For anyone who loves a good brain teaser or wants a stress-free way to get better at math, this game is a perfect choice. It’s a lovely, simple, and truly wonderful experience.- Movies Games and Tech

Artis Impact is an engaging RPG with a rich story and gorgeous visuals. My time with the game so far has been great and I am eager to reach the end to see how the story concludes. If you enjoy RPGs, I would highly recommend this game. From where I’m at, I believe I’m almost nearing the end of the game so it’s not super long if you prefer shorter RPGs.- Movies Games and Tech

There’s a meditative quality in browsing the shop, weighing risks, and setting up the perfect formation that scratches an itch few games do. Maybe Knightica could carve out a larger niche for itself. Tactical Takedown won’t dethrone the gaming heavyweight triple A games, but it doesn’t need to. Is This Seat Taken? is a delightful little puzzle game that stands out in the crowded mobile market for all the right reasons. Its commitment to a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, its gentle difficulty curve, and its charming aesthetic make it an absolute must-play for anyone who appreciates a calm and comforting experience. The lack of a timer and the absence of any ads or additional purchases are not just features; they are a statement about what a game can be. It proves that you can create a beautiful and engaging experience that respects the player’s time and peace of mind. For those who love cute, casual, and genuinely relaxing games, this title is a perfect choice—it’s a small, polished jewel that is a joy to have on your mobile device.- Movies Games and Tech

Like I said earlier, these types of games are not for me. This could just be an example of “git gud” but the game does not feel compelling enough to try to. There is a certain level of micro-managing that Rise of Industry 2 does not successfully set me up for. Attempting to do the scenarios or try my luck in sandbox has a mountainously steep learning curve and makes the game feel like a chore rather than an enjoyable experience. If the actual gameplay kept my attention, I might be up for the challenge! Unfortunately though, I could do nothing but sit and stare as my industry collapsed and crumbled as the days went on, and on, and on.- Movies Games and Tech

A rarity in the current industry, Catto’s Post Office lives up to all of its promises. But it doesn’t really go further than that. There’s little replay value or staying power beyond an easy list of achievements and some hidden rubber ducks to discover amongst the map. But maybe you don’t want that, maybe you want a short and sweet parcel of joy after a long day; Catto will deliver it straight to you. After recently ploughing through an enormous open world game, I greatly appreciated the brevity; though I perhaps would’ve liked to get to know these characters better and done a little more for them.- Movies Games and Tech

Although I will say that I had a good time with Resonant Blade, I had some issues that I feel like addressing. This might have been an issue on my end, but playing this game with a controller was a bit difficult. It played fine until I reached a certain point where I had to hold down a button. It was as if it was treating my keyboard and my controller as being active at the same time. From then on, I had to use a keyboard for the rest of the game (which wasn’t too bad to play on either). Thankfully, the developer is making constant updates to the game to fix issues. If you enjoyed this game or not, be sure to leave helpful feedback to the developer. Overall, I would recommend this game if you’re looking for a unique 2D action adventure game.- Movies Games and Tech

Chains of Freedom is a solid action RPG. The elements are there and, in some cases, executed pretty well. The elements that fall flat do just that, they don’t bring down Chains of Freedom into the area of being a “bad game.” The story and combat do well enough to keep you going and in, some cases, feel a very real sense of achievement. Overall I rated Chains of Freedom with a 7/10. While there were pieces that didn’t astound me, I never felt like I was playing a sub-par game. There was definitely some interesting elements with the biocrystal perks and the enemies you encounter a long your way to the boss fights. The combat was good, if a little clumsy in places, and the RPG elements really stand tall as the focus of the development team.- Movies Games and Tech

The Stellar Blade × Nikke DLC is a stylish, high-energy injection of variety into a game that, for many of us, was starting to feel settled into its post-launch comfort zone. It’s not a massive expansion, there’s no sprawling new story arc or map to explore, but it’s a fun replay-able chunk of content that blends flashy fan service with genuine gameplay change, with a very small price tag. If you loved Stellar Blade but have been waiting for something to break up the melee grind, this crossover is worth a look. If you were hoping for hours of new narrative, you might find it thin. Either way, it’s an encouraging sign that Shift Up is willing to experiment beyond cosmetics and seasonal fluff.- Movies Games and Tech

Mafia: The Old Country is the kind of game that a true fan can respect. It’s a strike of lightning back to the soul of Mafia, quiet, violent, ritualistic, and weighed down by tradition. The visuals, the writing, the performances, they all deliver that rare feeling of authenticity and mood that modern open worlds often sacrifice. But, as someone who still chafes at regimented stealth, repetitive knife duels, and there-but-not-there worlds, the nostalgia wears thin when mechanics don’t evolve. I understand going back to the roots, but games still need to evolve and unfortunately The Old Country plays mostly on nostalgia. if you want to close your eyes and step into a moody, beautifully staged Sicilian crime saga, this is it. Just don’t be surprised if once the credits roll, you’re left craving more depth, more unpredictability, and maybe a little more life outside the script.- Movies Games and Tech

Having played since the earliest days, Rooftops & Alleys 1.0 feels like the true launch everyone was waiting for. It took a raw, ambition‑driven parkour sandbox and gave it shape: progression, polish, modes, maps, music, and community. It never promises storytelling, deep lore, or blockbuster scope. Instead, it celebrates movement, risk, creativity, and skill. That makes its strengths very clear—and its flaws manageable for anyone who loves the parkour grind. If you’ve been curious or cautious, now is the moment to dive into what it has become, not just what it started as. For those who fall in love with motion, flow and the pursuit of perfect runs, Rooftops & Alleys is a must have.- Movies Games and Tech

Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero isn’t a bad game. It’s just above average. The story and Leif’s journey is very good and emotional. As a sibling, I understand his character and it makes him relatable. The themes of bravery and friendship are powerful and makes the game worth playing through. Exploring the map is fun and rewarding and the art style makes the world incredibly beautiful to explore. But the clunky combat, ghost guide mechanic and even camera at times can make the adventure tedious and frustrating. If you are into 2-D action games, it can be worth trying out but there are better alternatives out there.- Movies Games and Tech

To sum up Killing Floor 3 is difficult because there is so much to love and yet a decent amount of frustration. Great gameplay, online co-op and superb sound design and score should have seen the game launch to more fanfare. Sadly, a non-existent story, middling visual presentation due to bugs, and a lack of content will sour the experience for some players. There is a great game to be had here, even with the usual live service shenanigans! It’s a case of whether you can see the wood for the trees. Grid Ranger is a challenging shoot ‘em up with great visuals. Though harder to get used to, the mouse controls for this fast-paced shoot ‘em up was executed well. Unfortunately, the game is very short with only 3 levels. Grant it, the game is only $4 USD, so I wouldn’t expect a large amount of content. It only has the main 3 levels and an infinite mode, so there’s not a lot to do after playing through all of it. Monument Valley 3 is a good game. It has fantastic visuals and a brilliant, soothing soundtrack. The characters look great and the world is just breathing taking to look at. The gameplay and puzzle solving is good but some are a bit easy and fast to get through. Some of the harder puzzles are head scratchers but are satisfying to solve, unfortunately there aren’t many of them. Noor and her journey is good but way too short to fully appreciate or connect with. Where this game is now though, it can be hard to fully recommend. Overall, I enjoyed my time with Drill Core. Its approach to gameplay offers enough novelty, especially for someone like me who hasn’t been overly exposed to these genres. For better or worse, the game has some steep difficulty spikes. I found myself hitting a wall at the 8th difficulty level due to both the challenge and my growing fatigue. My experience could have been less tiring if the game had prioritized onboarding, providing more instructional guidance instead of relying so heavily on repetitive trial and error. Fortunately, I eventually found my rhythm, and most of my playthrough felt satisfying. Ultimately, Hungry Couch Games has demonstrated with Drill Core that they can create a solid game, and I will be looking out for their future projects.- Movies Games and Tech

The concept is great, the machine execution is great, and the music…is terrible (sorry, couldn’t resist another dig at that blasted radio). The game has the bones of a good game, but it falls quite short in polishing and quality-of-life. It really seems like the storyline was halfway through, the mechanics/physics were 75% there, the machine animation was completely finished, and they decided to go ahead and publish. Would I play it again? Probably not. Would I give an updated version or possible sequel a chance? Yes.- Movies Games and Tech

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is another triumphant return to a franchise dear to my heart. Superb campaigns remade in glorious visuals and a streamlined user experience help make this collection the definitive pro skater package. Whilst the changes made to THPS4 may upset some purists, this is still, for the most part, the games I grew up with fantastic modernised controls and gorgeous visual and animation design. Of course, the glaring omissions in the soundtrack soured my experience to some extent, but thankfully, not terminally. Gore doctor tried to be a gory, scary and memorable experience which left the bad animations, voice acting and boss designs etched into my mind. If you’re bored and want to play a short low quality horror game to earn easy trophies then go for it, otherwise I’d steer clear…- Movies Games and Tech

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is exactly what it sets out to be; a fun and nostalgic trip down memory lane. Stunning pixel art visuals, fun and engaging combat and a killer soundtrack will make fans of the series long for more. Sadly, some players will not feel as challenged as they’d like to be in gameplay, along with tedious frustrating moments found in the super scaler levels. A simple plot and repetitive voice work don’t do the game any favours either, but overall, if you love the Power Rangers and arcade games, you’ll find room in your heart for this one. A nostalgic trip!- Movies Games and Tech

After Light Fades was a nice reminder to slow down and blow up the rocks. Its unique take on puzzles, extensive level selection, and care-free approach invites everyone willing to be challenged. The beautiful graphics help players stay longer. But rest assured, it is challenging. The difficulty arises quickly within the first few levels. I spent an hour on one puzzle in the first world, and it didn’t get better once I knew what I was doing. I’ll say it, “It’s the Dark Souls of puzzle games,”.- Movies Games and Tech

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero on PC is a rewarding but flawed experience. Its unique grid-less combat, deep customization, and endgame content make it a standout within the strategy RPG scene. Marona’s story offers emotional moments and whimsical charm, even if the pacing drags and the narrative stakes feel low. On the downside, the PC version suffers from occasional crashes, physics bugs, and AI glitches that should have been ironed out before launch.- Movies Games and Tech

Heroes of Mount Dragon is a vibrant, ambitious start for RuniQ. It nails presentation and accessible brawling, with dragon transformations adding spectacle and depth. Co-op play, curses, and humour make it a fun pick-up-and-play party game, especially for fans of classic arcade beat‑’em‑ups. But it currently lacks sufficient content and variety to maintain long-term engagement. Identical stage structures, limited enemy types, and some rough edges in gameplay precision and performance hold it back. The lore-rich world hints at growth potential, supported by upcoming content. Bug fixes and expansions could elevate it from “fun” to “compelling.”- Movies Games and Tech

Garten of Banban 7 is definitely better than Garten of Banban 1, but it’s still a mediocre game with nothing special about it. The story is dark and doesn’t answer many questions while raising new ones. The gameplay hasn’t improved and the controls can still be annoying. The puzzles are much better. The voice acting is very nice and I think it’s the strongest part of the game. The visuals are very bad and not acceptable at all.- Movies Games and Tech

Shuffle Tactics stands out as a bold and ambitious fusion of tactical RPGs and roguelike deckbuilders. It’s a visual treat, a deeply strategic playground, and a constantly evolving experience. But that ambition comes at the cost of polish and pacing. If you thrive on trial‑and‑error, high-stakes tactical gameplay, and don’t mind the occasional UI hiccup or steep challenge, this is a must-play especially at its modest launch price. However, if tight balance and gentler difficulty progression are your preferences, you may want to wait for post-launch patches or improvements. Shuffle Tactics has the spark of something special it may just need a few refinements to truly shine.- Movies Games and Tech

At its best, Rematch shines as an absolute blast of a football game. Unique design, great controls and just downright fun gameplay will keep players coming back for one more match countless times. Stunning visuals and animations also help solidify Sloclap as true masters of graphical presentation. Sadly, some bugs, audio miscues and a disappointing soundtrack will dampen the spirit slightly but thankfully not terminally. Rematch is a bold attempt at mixing up the format of sports games and I applaud Sloclap for taking a leap of faith. I just cannot wait to go back in and play another game!- Movies Games and Tech

If you’ve ever yearned to helm a bar, mix drinks meticulously, or enjoy a narrative-sprinkled sim, Bartender Hustle delivers. The Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 is at its best when it focuses on its wonderful cast of characters. This JRPG shines when you diverge from the disappointing and far too long main plot and instead focus on the brilliant and emotional side quests. Whilst there are too few improvements and additions to combat, it is still an addictive turn-based experience. Coupled with great visuals and a memorable soundtrack, you have the recipe for a enjoyable JRPG. It takes some missteps but mainly sticks the landing!- Movies Games and Tech

With a storyline clocking in at three hours, Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos succeeds in embodying more elements of a larger game’s series of side quests than it does a worthwhile spinoff. While there is oftentimes a critical inconsistency in accounting for a price when reviewing a product, this title makes such ignorance impossible. Complaints that could usually be considered minor hiccups, such as fluctuating graphical fidelity, a lack of variety in content, and performance issues, instead resemble ugly burps that reflect a blatant disregard for the audience willing to spend forty US dollars on a series that has earned their trust. To that crowd, shining moments of straightforward gameplay and satisfying voice acting do exist between these outbursts, making it apparent that there are components worth salvaging here. For a deep sale, perhaps the most devout fans of the Neptunia series will find the silver lining of this underwhelming spinoff worth enduring. For me, there is no fuel left in this ride.- Movies Games and Tech

If you love the weird and wonderful world of Atomfall, Wicked Isle is more of what the base game delivered, with new intriguing quests and a fantastic new location. While Soul Stalker is undoubtedly flawed, its price point feels like a recognition of its imperfections. For less than the price of a fast food meal, the title provides enough familiar fun to frame itself as a worthwhile investment against a genre where every game is determined to move upwards and remain unprecedented in quality. I can see myself launching Soul Stalker for a few runs every once in a while, and when so many roguelikes exist, eternally vying for attention, commitment is one of the best compliments I can give such a game.- Movies Games and Tech
