    While Kingsgrave doesn’t do anything really new, everything it does it does well. It might not hold your attention for a hundred hours, but you’ll have fun while you are there.

    Kingsgrave plays around with the Zelda/Metroidvania format by adding in a building mechanic and some twists on the combat. It's a bit clunky - with a rather bare world - but has its charms.

    Kingsgrave has a fun loop of material gathering for upgrades, but the clunky combat and refusal to give any guidance makes it hard to easily recommend.
