Astlibra Revision is a prime example of what time and dedication can achieve. Its narrative expertly blends time travel concepts with high fantasy tropes, creating a captivating and memorable experience. Combat sequences, whilst chaotic at times, are unbelievably addictive and entertaining. Additionally, the numerous customisation options means you’ll easily be able to find something that suits your playstyle. Visually, it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Yet, it still manages to retain its own charmful, and alluring qualities. Lastly, the musical arrangements cover a wide array of genres. All of which feature fantastic instrumentation, and spectacular melodies. Truly, what KEIZO and his team have managed to create here is nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend everyone to seek this one out ASAP.

Live A Live is an excellent set of stories contained within a very polished package. The remastered elements are fantastic, with the music and art a particular highlight. Sadly some elements of 90s video games have not aged well and could’ve done with an update here. Having said that, if you love a nostalgia trip and have the odd masochistic tendency then this will easily be a 10/10 for you as what it does well it knocks out of the park.

Lies of P: Overture is a dark, challenging prequel DLC that dives deeper into the twisted world of Krat. With 6–8 hours of new content, it offers fresh environments, inventive boss fights, and meaningful lore expansion without radically changing the gameplay. While it doesn’t reinvent the base game, it delivers a focused, atmospheric experience that fans will appreciate. It's a must-play for returning players who want more from the Lies of P universe, though newcomers may find it dense and unforgiving.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an incredible action-adventure title. This much-anticipated sequel arrives on Next Gen consoles, PC, and Switch Digital only. However, gamers on these machines will adore the brutal and sombre journey they'll experience. It retains many much-loved mechanics but evolves miles beyond my wildest expectations. Accordingly, this latest instalment blew my mind, and I can't stop raving about it.

Under The Island is a heartfelt indie adventure that understands exactly what it wants to be. It combines exploration, combat, puzzles, and story into a cohesive experience that feels both nostalgic and fresh. It may not push technical boundaries or introduce groundbreaking mechanics — but it doesn’t need to. Everything this title offers is done perfectly. If you’re drawn to retro-inspired action RPGs with charm, mystery, and a strong sense of place, this is absolutely worth your time.

There is no one puzzle repeated, each is with its own challenges and difficulties. So there is no way to expect the game is going to be easy, even if a few levels are a breeze. Overall, both Dragon Quest games are a blast to play. The remakes give both a visual upgrade with more characters and brilliant soundtracks. Both games have beautiful open worlds, while offering challenging fights. The first Dragon Quest is hindered a bit by not having a party system but is still fun to play. Both games also stumble in the story department but the exploration, combat and open world are too good to ignore. The Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a stunning tribute to one of the most influential RPGs of all time. Fans of the series and newcomers with an appreciation for retro-inspired games will likely find this remake a worthy addition. Artistically, the unique blend of realism and abstract imagery perfectly illustrates the nightmarish aesthetic. A lot has changed in the roguelike genre since Shiren’s last adventure. Many of those evolutions in the genre make playing this game feel a little dated. I wish there were more to do in the hub world. I wish I could build my character in the dungeons rather than rely on items to survive. Despite not having those things, learning how the game works is still fun. For those looking for a challenging roguelike, Shiren The Wanderer offers a dungeon crawler that makes players think about how they move. Overall, Triangle Strategy is an entertaining tactical RPG, even if it does go out of its way to prevent its players from playing it. The tactical-based gameplay is intuitive, immersive, and challenging, and breathes a new sense of life into the genre. Narratively, the extensive cutscenes can be exhausting, and their eagerness to constantly reiterate themselves only makes things worse. However, the visual presentation is absolutely gorgeous, utilising a unique juxtaposition with 2D sprites, 3D environments, and HD lighting. Similarly, the soundtrack created by Akira Senju is exceptional, and rivals that of contemporary series such as Dragon Quest. If you enjoy tactical RPGs such as Fire Emblem, then this is probably something you’d be interested in. Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is a phenomenal remaster of the acclaimed 2003 title. The story is excellent, the dialogue is fascinating, and the compact world is a joy to explore. However, poor controls and clunky teamwork occasionally hold it back. Yet, if you can ignore these problems, you'll cherish every dated moment!

Torn Away is a harrowing and chilling visual novel experience. Moreover, its beautiful writing and touching plot is hard to put down. However, it is this emotion-fueled experience that makes it mentally draining and tough to complete in one sitting.

As it stands now, the game is just my cup of tea. The visuals are great with a decent story to back them up. The different builds are fun to explore and try out. The game has the perfect amount of grind that keeps my attention but doesn’t make me rip my hair out. It is not without it’s flaws, but none of its shortcomings detract from my overall experience. To put it simply, I’m just having a ton of fun playing and I feel as if my review does not do the game the justice deserves. If you are a roguelike or ARPG fan, I happily encourage you to give Hell Clock a try!

While this latest entry in the Atelier Series may not excel in every mechanic it employs, it has clearly mastered one. Its complete realisation of the alchemy gameplay is a consistent pleasure to play. Its shortcomings minor and major in its visuals, story, or combat are routinely overshadowed by the satisfaction of improving your alchemical skills. Provided you know what you’re getting into, you’re sure to enjoy your time stirring the pot.

It’s not revolutionary, but it doesn’t have to be. Crashlands 2 understands the assignment. Build, survive, connect, and enjoy the journey. With its snappy writing, warm design, and rich mechanics, it doesn’t just imitate its genre siblings; it earns its seat at the table. Crashlands 2 is worth the crash.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is another triumphant return to a franchise dear to my heart. Superb campaigns remade in glorious visuals and a streamlined user experience help make this collection the definitive pro skater package. Whilst the changes made to THPS4 may upset some purists, this is still, for the most part, the games I grew up with fantastic modernised controls and gorgeous visual and animation design. Of course, the glaring omissions in the soundtrack soured my experience to some extent, but thankfully, not terminally. In an era of remakes or remasters, you can place this one squarely in the remake category. A fully remade game from the ground up. Tony Hawk Pro Skater games give you a little slice of nostalgia and they’re just downright fun!

If you’re into Strategy games this can be a fun take on things. Plus I’d wager it’s also a great entry point into the genre. Its learning curve isn’t steep enough to scare off newbies, and it’s got more than enough content to keep you going for a long time.

Blake: The Visual Novel can be funny and captivating, but it’s also sad and melancholic. Besides the few nitpicks that I’ve already mentioned, I think the game has something for everyone. Whether you’ll see the game’s twists coming your way or not, that’s only something you can answer yourself. My only warning is to not be discouraged by the game’s slow start, as the plot really picks up the pace the further you’re into the game. Whether you’re a huge fan of visual novels or not, I’d really recommend you give this one a shot.

All in all, Synergy is a breath of fresh air in the city-building genre. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel entirely, but the way it rethinks environmental interaction and research injects a surprising amount of life into the experience. It’s not just about expanding — it’s about learning, respecting, and coexisting with your environment. The sense of discovery and stewardship that comes from studying the land around you is unlike anything else in the genre right now. If you’re a fan of city builders and looking for something that challenges you to think differently about how you manage your resources and surroundings, Synergy is absolutely worth your time.

There are a few games I’m playing for the first time and never tried before, which makes this collection even greater. So I can’t compare them all, but it’s no problem cause as I tried them all they play perfectly. Additionally, the story that follows and the entire detailed design is excellent as well! It’s just what I would expect when playing any Capcom fighting game. So if you are searching for more than just one game to keep you actively engaged in some fight sequences, puzzling arcade battles, and much more, then this is a collection you should give a try!
