Because of that, the graphics one of the best Nintendo DS RPG are still totally outdated and the gameplay is extremely similar to the first versions of Pokémon. The history mode hasn't changed significantly, although the Distortion World appears as a very different dungeon. The online experience is even richer with the inclusion of Wi-Fi Plaza and the Vs. Recorder system. It's not recommended for the people who bought any of the previous Nintendo DS Pokémon, but if you are not one of them, then this must be your choice.

The Walking Dead: Season Two - In Harm's Way is one of the best episodes of Telltale Games. Great plot, amazing villain and classic hard decisions to take.

Blur is a great arcade game, a mixture of Mario Kart's, Burnout's and Need for Speed's gameplay, but with the depth of every Bizarre Creation's works. The AI is great, there are enough game modes, and it has the multiplayer needed to become one of the best arcade racing games of the year.

Florence's costumbrist love story touched us and surprised us. Its proposal is direct and effective. Its realization, in mechanics, drawing and sound, doesn't have objections. And each hint of colour, each musical note, helped us to see the credits with tears in our eyes.

Darksiders is a great game, fun and entertaining. A lengthy action-adventure game, with some good ideas taken from other titles. Overall is great, but it lacks its own gameplay and ideas.

Metro Exodus is the best game in the series and one of the best shooters you'll be able to play this year. We have never seen such an atmosphere. They are so many and so different... Just overwhelming. A last an epic ride with Metro's soul, even in the new spaces. It only fails in the AI and in certain aspects of the open world, which is empty and simple.

RARE built a pocket -but charismatic- paradise for the Nintendo DS with this new addition to the Viva Piñata series. Take care of some little paper-animals, cultivate flowers, and keep your garden tidy in this brilliant adaptation of the Xbox 360 game that also includes multiplayer options and a very colorful graphic engine that takes the DS to the limit. Play just five minutes and you’ll get lost; it’s incredibly fun.

The Ramp is a pleasant surprise. As if it were a toy model, Hyperparadise seeks to transmit the pleasure of skateboarding in a simple video game with no achievements or objectives, just enjoy the ride, so that the flow of this sport runs through your veins. And it succeeds. First, because it feels like a videogame thanks to its polished mechanics. Secondly, because of the good taste in its art direction and the good design. It's a pity that there aren't more, that this haven of tranquility doesn't hold even more surprises. In the meantime, one of those that we will never tire of recommending.

Signalis is a love letter for the classic survival horror genre and that kind of fear and sci-fi mix that never fails. One of the surprises of this year.

Horace is a brilliant, difficult, sensitive, surprising platform game. An author's work full of cultural references and a beautiful humanist message. The little robot Horace is not more human for wearing a suit, tie and bowler hat, but for his huge and pure heart.

A nice take of a classic formula. Perfectly executed, true to its roots and made in a way that it feels modern and approachable. The Legend of Grimrock is a joy for lovers of Dungeon Crawlers, but it welcomes any type of player as long as he has patience.

Locomalito´s shoot em up is one of the best games the genre has seen over the years. Inspired by the games of yesteryear, improves their legacy in many ways with no need for a revolution. Go for it if you´ve ever enjoyed Gradius, R-Type or Darius.

Probably the best version of an unforgettable action classic. Some elements are dated by today standards and could have benefited by a more thoughtful job, but for newcomers it's a must.

eFootball PES 2020 is probably the best soccer simulator. New improvements and addition polish its excellent gameplay, but once again, Konami shows lack of ambition in terms of new modalities and relevant changes in its star modes, like Master League and MyClub.
