    Anyone that loves Marvel, Capcom, fighting games or games in general needs to pick up this game. At around £12 it's much easier than having to dig around bargain bins or eBay to find a Dreamcast copy.

    Although primitive-looking at the surface, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 really delivers everything a fighting fan could want. Buy it and enjoy it, no questions asked.

    This really is the fighting game evolved to the level of artform, and while mastery can be a long, tough slog, it's also its own reward. There are few fighting games better.

    It’s no secret that MvC2 is not a very accessible game and doesn’t bring anything new to the fighting game table like Street Fighter IV and BlazeBlu, but if you are looking to hone your MvC2 skills on more than those in your immediate vicinity, or just think that Wolverine vs. Megaman would be a dream match, there is little reason not to pick this game up the next time you log online.

    While it's undeniably easy to spam cheap tactics, Marvel vs Capcom 2 offers incredibly fun game play for a 15$ price that is well worth it.

That being said, to be any good at this game, it requires lots and lots of time in the training mode. It's not very welcoming for beginners, and has a steep learning curve. I've been playing it for a while now, and there for me is delay when you execute moves. What was good though is all the characters are unlocked straight away, and for nostalgia it's worth a go. But Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting and Soul Calibur are classics that still play like they did last decade, this feels tired.… Expand
