One of the best surprises of 2015 so far, Affordable Space Adventures is something more than a 2D digital indie, it's an experience of exploration in a hypnotic, alien world with a unique control system that turns Wii U's GamePad into a full spaceship panel control. Great design, puzzles and a very powerful experience, if you want to be challenge or just feel like a explorer in a new world, just buy it. A must have for Wii U owners and a lesson in the face to the big companies to learn how to use the pad in its full capability.

Once Again, Ubisoft Montreal takes us to Persia, this time an arid desert where we will face great dangers. With its cell-shading graphics and the incredible platforming areas, the Prince is better than ever; also, this time he has a great companion, Elika. A huge adventure, beautiful and great, but with some technical issues, extremely easy and very straightforward.

Dragon Quest VII was a great PSX JRPG and now it's a more solid experience: the best graphics, an upgrade class system that is well-balanced and lot of content to discover.

Ninja Theory completely forgets about the hands-on experience (which at times is quite boring) and wholeheartedly dedicates itself to the mission of delivering a cinematic spectacle that Xbox Series can boast about from now on. Mission accomplished. Although it makes several sacrifices and tricks to achieve this, on an audiovisual level, it has breathtaking sequences and is a game to be proud of. It's a pity that its narrative, puzzles, and combat haven't evolved in the same way (if they have evolved at all).

Northgard is a good RTS game with a friendly gameplay for rookie gamers. Maybe we miss more fighters at the screen, but It's not a problem when you're fighting with Odin in a cartoon style.

Kena is beautiful, well balanced between combat, puzzle, and platforming, and has some surprisingly challenging bosses. It doesn't reinvent anything, but all that offers works well.

Witch Beam fills with magic and originality a gameplay as simple as it is effective: open boxes, take objects and place them wherever possible. With a level structure that ends up being recursive, the game does not aim to surprise with its mechanics, but rather to serve as an open book adaptable to the tastes, preferences and even hobbies of each player. Bedroom, kitchen, bathroom... Memories, in short, that remain by our side despite the circumstances, despite the changes of residence that we have to make – even if some of them are against our will. Unpacking manages to make you participate in this complicated process of turning a house into a home. Visually beautiful, it is a clear example of the video game's unique capabilities.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 brings more magic, more fantasy, more puzzles… but… Is it better tan its predecessor? Not really, but it´s not worse, either. If you enjoyed the first game get ready for another rollercoaster of fun.

Gears Tactics is one of the greatest surprises that this 2020 will have. Not so much for what it brings to the RTS genre, which is more limited, but for how it executes each and every one of the proposals on screen.

A good spin-off of the Fire Emblem saga that combines unbridled action with strategy and narrative to add a great musou to the catalog of the genre that no fan should miss.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has better characters, more modes and new interesting maps than it's predecessor. Fun and accessible.

The boost graphics look nice, specially the new sprites and animations, but sadly the constant backtracking and the linear design of the levels make evident the lack of content of the title, and the lost of the exploration inherent to the franchise in previous entries.

Madden 25 is better game than its predecessor, with some improvements in offensive abilities and owner mode in Franchise career. However, it's more a Madden 14 than 25th series tribute.

Roguelike, golf and metroidvania in one single package. The mix is as amazing as how well it works. One of those games that you have to try.

Insufficient expansion for the regulars of the title, but an excellent choice for those who want to initiate in it. We were looking forward to much more.

Civilization V: Gods & Kings, is an extremely interesting expansion pack, and mostly neccesary. It corrects one of the biggest mistakes within the original game: Trying to understand the development of civilizations while ignoring the importance of religion in its early years. Espionage and faith fit perfectly with the other contents included in the game as if they had always been there. But while religions play a very important role in it, intrigue seems too simple and has very limited options. No lover of Civilization V should fail to install this first and hopefully not last expansion.

Metro Redux is an excellent port on Switch. Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light gives us the same intense, strong and demanding experience. Metro has focused on survival horror with an unforgettable narrative. Now you can play Redux at subway... but be careful in your journey.

Well focused combat system, very classy flavored, and nicely designed maps can't fully overcome a lackluster story and forgettable characters. It is very good as an strategy game, it´s a bit lacking as a Fire Emblem.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a great and fresh idea for the card battler genre.

The dragon's return has not occurred with the same force as expected. Fans will have their ration of TES: Online for a while, but Elsweyr feels less than the previous two expansions.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes is the best Lego game Traveller's Tales has ever made. Great characters, good visuals and tons of content to play. Great choice for Marvel fans and casual audience.

Abzu is still a fascinating experience, perfect for playing anywhere. Unfortunately, the absence of new features fails to unleash its full potential in Switch.

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is an interesting experience during its first hours, but its interest fades progressively in the absence of content.

Pokémon strikes back with the first numbered sequel of the franchise so far. Black & White 2's stunning new features will make both fans and RPG lovers have tons of fun with deeper gameplay and a few nice additions. It's very much more of the same, but nonetheless it takes all the necessary steps to become a must-have on the NDS game library.

Tekken 6 its still Tekken: deep gameplay, very amount of characters, new game modes including an inspired and funny Campaign Mode and, of course, Online support for 1vs1 battles. Did you like Tekken? you'll enjoy this one. Do you like fighting games? Ok, don't doubt it: this is your game.

Obsidian's new RPG excels at delivering greats amounts of reactivity and replayability with a great narrative and characters alongside it. The combat system, although solid and entertaining, is a step back from Pillars of Eternity and offers too little variety.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is another example of an indie video game that has been lovingly created and they have managed to launch a roguelite with a lot of potential.

The most complete football managing game. It hasn’t a lot of new features compared to its predecessor, but it's not easy doing that when you are so near what you want to be.

A beautifully made narrative adventure that focused on the dialogues between the neighbors. There is also a mystery to be solved.

This new entry in the series has almost the same gameplay and visuals, but it delivers a fun experience, with some new features and an engaging story. It's probably the game that every fan of the previous games expected it to be.

Tempest Rising is an excellent real-time strategy game, inheriting the best traditions of '90s RTSs. It offers two highly entertaining, varied campaigns with well-designed missions, and two distinct factions. Its gameplay is deep and full of possibilities. A triumph that evokes the best sensations Command and Conquer offered in the mid-'90s.

If F1 25 stands out in anything, it is in terms of content, where the return of Braking Point adds the deepest career mode in the series, with a commendable level of depth in terms of management and control that ensures dozens of hours throughout the season.

2K Sports takes a step forward thanks to the Neighbourhood, a social space that should immediately become a reference for every sports videogame. But the game also adds several improvements in other modes, as in some game mechanics that needed some changes, for example the defense. It's just one of the best iterations in this franchise.

Dredge is surprising in its proposal to mix fishing and the RPG genre, but it loses steam after a few hours of play. Still, it is a very interesting and innovative work.

The Evil Within 2 improves on its predecessor, with great TPS combat, solid stealth mechanics and better crafting and exploring zones. And, more importantly, the game answers all the questions from first game.

Amnesia is an excellent new installment in the terrifying franchise from Frictional Games. It's also a most accessible game, which will allow the arrival of new players.

Snipperclips is a cute and lovely combination of puzzle and action that, despite its simple premise, delivers a massive variety of different situations to solve by simply cutting ourselves. Perfect to play with friends, also thanks to the extra minigames, but the 1 player mode could have been a bit longer.

One might say that The Banner Saga is somewhat halfway between the classic The Oregon Trail and Kingdom of Dragon Pass, mixed with tactical turn-based combat and a story that covers the epic feats of the Norse gods. A new example of the portentous level which independent developments continue to achieve, each day more and more about overcoming some of the major productions. From its humble mechanical and its simple-but-stunning visual style, we have a solid, exciting and unique title in its genre supported by an interesting plot line that offers us decisiveness. One of the best indies of this early 2014.

Forged In Shadow Torch is a highly recommended adventure for fans of metroidvania style, with gorgeous graphics and art design and frenzied and forceful gameplay. Only some issues about control and difficulty keep it from excellence.

Slender Threads is a superb graphic adventure, with an original and very attractive visual presentation, and which offers an intriguing plot that mixes humor with terror that captivates the player. It is somewhat short, but it is a candidate for the best graphic adventure of the year.

This year's Tiger Woods game is one of the best entries in the series. Fun, easy to play and with a lot of game modes (both online and offline), it has everything you ever wanted in a golf game. It's not so different from last year's game, but it has improved quite a bit.

This new entry in the series has almost the same gameplay and visuals, but it delivers a fun experience, with some new features and an engaging story. It's probably the game that every fan of previous games expected it to be.

As good as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but a bit continuist. Great mixture between new RPG mechanics and some classic elements.

The new adventure of Adol Christin results in a notable game that keeps many of the features seen in the previous title with new ones that are mixing with an interesting story, a charismatic cast of companions and plenty of side content to do.

Excellent combination of deck building, action RPG and roguelike that unfortunately is not the step forward with respect to its predecessor that it should have been and retains all of the drawbacks of the first game, like the repetitive combat system with almost no depth. Besides that it is a great game worth trying if you want a different and fresh approach to RPG games full of personality.

Third time's a charm they say. And indeed it is this time. Disney Infinity 3.0 brings not only the most complete version up to date of the series in the Toy Box mode, but a great campaign with Twilight of the Republic. Maybe it's short and easy, but its good combat system and its space travel to open hubs like Tatooine or Naboo join to bring one of the best Star Wars games we've seen in the last years

Eternal Sonata's very much the same game that we saw two years ago with a bunch of new goodies and an improved engine system that allowed tri-Crescendo to use once more its colourful world, loaded with strange characters and defying monsters. Its a worth-buying game if you don't have the X360 edition.

Stray is a nice port of one of the most well-known indie gems of recent times. "The cat game" is friendly in its gameplay and captivating in its images and music, but not only that. His message is profound without falling into condescension, and he manages to win our hearts with humility, sincerity and truth. You never feel that you are being told a false story, but the sad chronicle of a possible future.

Golden Abyss is a brilliant adventure that no other portable machine could offer, which is probably the main point of the game. It looks fantastic and controls great, but future Vita developers must tone down their urge to include gimmick controls.

Although understandable being just a remake and not a new entry, Yakuza Kiwami lacks the huge amount of content found in recent instalments of the franchise, but it does a great job updating the plot of the first entry in the franchise to later innovations and improvements, as well as current (although a bit dated) graphics.

Indeed, this is a strange journey for Nintendo 3DS players, full of the turn-based combats, dungeon exploration and demon negotiations fans know and love... That's why it's a pity that it ends up being held back by its outdated interface, exhausting first person exploration and slow pace.

Flinthook is another great Roguelite game. Frantic, challenging and solid level design.

Blood & Truth is the best action game available on PlayStation VR. The moments of action always maintain a high level of intensity, and the use of weapons works perfectly.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is the Sonic game we didn't know we needed. It's a must have for Sonic fans.

Much better than the first one, this sequel is a frenetic run and gun with wonderful 2D graphic style and tons of action. It might be not the longest game in the market, but you will enjoy every second of it.

Hob's Barrow is an excellent modern point and click adventure game. It takes inspiration from British folklore to deliver an interesting plot, with solid characters and inspired dialogues. The puzzles are interesting and can be solved using logic. A must have for fans of the genre in a year full of great adventures.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings is the perfect mixture of the famous Peter Jackson saga and the humor of LEGO. You have to play it if you like the world of this saga.

The latest Wii Sports makes the original seem lacking in every department. With plenty of new gameplay modes, the inclusion of WMP and a bunch of new additions, 'Resort' is set to be one of the most important videogames of this summer. It's a shame that there's no online features, but still it has everything of what it takes to become a blockbuster in no time.

Outlast is an intense experience that knows little of subtlety and much about scaring you out of your mind. It´s a violent, shocking and credible voyage made with technical and artistic mastery, only slightly undermined by its ending and its own concerns about difficulty.

The experiences of "Butcher Bay" are superior to the new chapter in playability, level designs and possibilities of game.

From Dust is an outstanding approach to the long-forgotten God Genre, but with a few new elements that, combined, give this title a fresh look from what we're used to seeing on the digital market.

Disgaea 4 is still Disgaea, but better, improved and with a very welcomed graphical update. Tons of systems and subsystems focused on creating a crazy sandbox where the rules exist to be broken. Add a really good story, charming characters and the, as usual, excellent soundtrack and you have a fantastic entry into the series.

Blasting combat gameplay that merges very well with the single player concept without loosing the sense of being part of a team. Humor and drama draws an engaging story very focused on The Guardians of the Galaxy.

Despite the weak graphics and the lack of Fire Emblem content outside of a few references in the plot and sound effects, Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a solid RPG that shows the expertise of Atlus. Sadly they have focused too much on doing well what they already know how to do and so most of the potential of such a combo as SMT x FE hasn't been fulfilled. But it's very enjoyable and attractive experience regardless. The music deserves an special mention as it includes memorable J-Pop tunes.

The King is back in this new rendition of the classic PC game. 3D Realms brings Duke Nuken 3D to Xbox 360 with new gameplay elements that make the adventure more interesting and also an extremely funny multiplayer that reminds us of classics like Unreal Tournament or Counter Strike. It’s been around for 12 years, but this is still a must have for just 800 Microsoft Points.

Trails from Zero results in a title that will please JRPG fans through its gameplay and story development until its very end.

Super Mega Baseball 3 respects the time of the player, being a great option for short games o more long game sessions. With its arcade spirit but more deep gameplay and fun Franchise Mode, it represents a great alternative for baseball fans.

Modern Warfare is a brave new iteration, with tons of news additions and some controversial decisions in terms of design. Has a frantic and well-balanced campaign, new gunfight mode is the best multiplayer novelty in years but has also problems with some maps and co-op experience with obvious weakness.

It still lacks features to add variety and depth, but Elite Dangerous is a great foundation for a really good space simulator and the core ideas, interface and control are fantastic as they are. It will be exciting to see its evolution.

The new South Park game is amazing. It's story is one step behind The Stick of Truth, but overall, the game is fun, entertaining, with a lot of things to do and with a great sense of humour. A must-have for South Park lovers in general.

IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey allow us to revive some of the most important World War III battles controlling airplanes in realistic scenarios. Tons of contents, 50 missions and multiplayer options are waiting for you in one of the best air combat videogames in years.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is going head-on from the start. The new soulslike from Team Ninja returns to sign a solid, addictive combat. It is the hallmark of the team. Risk has its reward. Mechanics added to the formula, such as the morale system, influence the development of the levels. From the moment you enter a mission, you activate the chip to achieve everything and destroy everything that comes your way. It's hard not to recommend it to fans of the genre. Only the limitation of the bestiary and the uninteresting loot system keep it from going one step further.

Bloodier than ever, the god of Sony's IPs come back with a title than focuses on the beginning of the tragedy. Reluctant to remember what happened, Kratos only wants to break the pact he made once with Ares. God of War: Ascension bring us a visual spectacle that pushes PlayStation 3 to its limits, carrying new elements for the gameplay and even a Multiplayer mode that helps to extend the life of this spartan odyssey. A great Good-bye to the character until the Next Generation.

It's portal but now you can rewind some boxes to solve creative and funny puzzles. The Entropy Centre evolves constantly to surprise you on each level until his last minutes.

This 'end of all things' couldn't be just simple, or happier or just bigger. It had to be just like Deponia deserved: A more surreal, acid, bizarre, actioner final chapter that pushes the humour to its limits sometimes. Rufus isn't changed at all, but we don't want to see he changes. We want to be again with this egomaniac selfish antihero and his particular crusade. The ending the surreal universe that Daedalic has made deserves, its hard to just say 'see ya!' to Goodbye Deponia, because we're really gonna miss these guys a lot. That's what happened when things are very well done.

Need for Speed: Rivals is the biggest adrenaline shot that any pilot should receive, in an open-world full of challenges and stunning pursuits between police and pilots.

This is Freebird's best work, a narrative driven game emotionally packed, but also full of humor and great characters.

LEGO Dimensions is the biggest game in the whole franchise so far due to the quantity of content it offers to the players; however, this is also the most expensive one. Enjoyable from the very start.

Expeditions: Rome is an ambitious turn-based strategy game that unites adventure, role-playing, strategy and tactical combat in a single title. It stands out for a pampered recreation of the culture of the time and despite its markedly strategic vocation, it has a consistent story that will hook the user and motivate him to progress in the game. The tactical combat, thanks to its movement system and the infinite possibilities of personalization of the units, are the best that has been seen. He just flounders on the strategic map where, waiting for the legion to have something to do, the protagonist wanders aimlessly looking for a random event to happen.

Fifteen new units, six commanders and eight maps seem little for the 13 € of this extension. However , if we translate them into possibilities, means much fresh air for an aging with dignity saga.

Darkwood is a thrilling survival game with tons of exploration, rich story background and enigmatic characters. The crude atmosphere has been build using a bright illumination system, visuals, music, sounds and silents. The forest, filled by darkness, is like another main character. Gameplay works fine, but the combat system isn't deep at all.

A great role playing game with turn based combat, free and fun. It does not reach the quality of Genshin Impact but it is close.
