    Monocroma tries to capitalize on the success of games like Limbo, but unlike those games, it fails to achieve anything of substance. The story is open to interpretation and leaves you wondering why the developers chose these set of events to try and convey that.

    As a long-time fan of the original Mirror’s Edge, I was happy to hear about a new game in the series, but I should have been prepared for the worst. To be fair, I may be exaggerating.     With more polish and time, Soul Axiom could have turned out to be an amazing experience. There was potential in its narrative and puzzles that was wasted by poor presentation and level design. Soul Axiom had decent individual parts that never quite coalesced into a satisfying whole.

    The overall low difficulty of the puzzles, the short game time, and the stuttering cutscenes may be a huge turn off for many. However, if they give Grim Legends a try, they will find a game that visually is very enjoyable. I found problem solving in the game to be worthwhile and incredibly fulfilling.

    Definitely unique. It's more of a DLC than an expansion, but the new Mech challenges grant you some upgraded powers to unlock. It doesn't completely overhaul the game like Sky Fortress, but it contains excellent additions that simply beg you to try them out for the excitement factor alone.

    In all, Episode 3 of Hitman stays faithful to the quality standards of the previous episodes and has quite astonishing graphic improvements.     When you play a good game, you always have this itch in the back of your head that keeps you wanting to play it even though you’re doing other things. It keeps on irritating you until you pick up that controller again. It’s very rare for me to experience that when it comes to titles but Tropico 5 is one of them. It’s just that good and addictive.

    Coffin Dodgers could have been the Kart-racer that fans of the genre were waiting for. It also could have been good. Instead, Coffin Dodgers is an extremely limited and mediocre attempt at creating a Kart-racer that somehow manages to stutter along on hardware that should far exceed the requirements of this title. This, along with its low texture quality, low-poly models and basic to the point of boring gameplay—Coffin Dodgers looks and plays as old as its cast.

    All of the problems I encountered on Xbox One point to a slightly unoptimized experience. I would’ve tolerated the severe aliasing issues had the controls been tight but I struggled to line up shots at a distance all the time. I experienced none of this on PC.

    By far the most appalling thing about Lichdom: Battlemage is not its dull method of storytelling, its unsatisfying combat, its convoluted crafting system, or even its game-breaking frame rate issues. The most appalling thing is the sheer lack of sincere communication and apology from Maximum Games, who have released the most utterly broken Xbox One game that I have ever played and have demanded a whopping $50 for it.

    Emotion is key in The Walking Dead: Michonne and nowhere is that more evident than on the face of Michonne herself. Somehow, someway, Tellale was able to portray both the emotional and psychological struggle that Michonne was experiencing. It was pulled off flawlessly and truly makes the player focus on one's in-game decisions.

    The second episode of Hitman pushes the game to new heights. It features vast open-world-like exploration, intel gathering, and best of all, beautiful scenery.     1979 Revolution: Black Friday is a great game that gives an in-depth look at one of the many revolutions that occurred in Iran. Looking at the technical aspect of the game, it does have a few flaws. But since the main objective of the game is to go into more detail regarding what happened and how things were during this revolution, I must be honest and say that it serves its purpose well.

    All I can say is I am incredibly pleased with Blues and Bullets: Shaking The Hive. It delivers on almost all fronts. It still suffers from some technical difficulties that can at times be jarring, but the storytelling and character development is so brilliant and well done that it almost outweighs the one con it has.

    Moonradish Inc. has wonderfully delivered on the promise of producing a fast and frantic arena multiplayer game that’s great to play with friends. While a lack of online multiplayer is indeed disappointing—as well as the slower pace of the Hexout game modes combined with a limited amount of content—Wand Wars is still an extremely fun and challenging game that’s perfect to play with a group of four.

    The blending of word game and RPG mechanics has created a game that reeled me in hook, line, and sinker. The gameplay loop of collecting gems, failing, upgrading, and progressing had me returning to this game night after night. The smooth controls and visuals made my addiction pleasurable. I cannot recommend Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey enough. It is an ambassador for the turn-based, word-based, role-playing game. Even if it is the only game in the genre.

    Any fan of the physics-based puzzle genre will appreciate the care and thoughtfulness put into each and every puzzle in 101 Ways To Die.     Although it can look short, compared to other exploration games, Samorost 3 complements that with the stunning, detailed and almost photorealistic art style of the various landscape scenarios, which are great just by themselves, but adding the various sound effects and music to them creates a great point-and-click exploration game filled with some interesting puzzles.

    In conclusion, if you are a casual racer who just wants to have fun and enjoy doing races without too much frustration, Dirt Rally is not for you. It is daunting for even hardcore racers. However, if you are seeking a real rally simulation experience and have strong willpower to overcome all the challenges that this game throws at you, it’s the best game on the market compared to titles like Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo and WRC 5.
