    Even though the grappling system is slowed down and pre-fight sequences lack the familiar trash talking, UFC 2 is a great transition of sport into the digital realm. It is the closest we've been to feeling how it is to fight inside the octagon.

    Where the first EA Sports UFC failed to go big on content, EA Sports UFC 2 delivers big time. That it also successfully improves upon the strong foundations laid by UFC 1 in the gameplay stakes, makes UFC 2 nothing short of superlative. It's a winner.

Game controls seems complicated, but after a few round you will understand the system and just enjoy fight, every round. And the best improvement are real-time hints to grabs and ground fighting. It changed no playable game to really funny thing.
    But that is all, do not expect something more. Just choose fighters and fight. It is the main content of this game and reason, why you should (or not) byu this game. Is it enough for you?    … Expand

This is specifically for ultimate team mode. In Madden there are a ton of challenges and regardless of spending money you can atleast make a good team. With Ufc its totally pay to win and the ranking matchup system is a joke. The more you pay the more moves and skills you get. Grinding for wins without money for packs is a joke. And if my fighter is 69 dont match me against a 80...… Expand

If you get lucky and get an opponent who will fight you normal than the game is great. A good fight between two opponents who play the game like it is real life, it can't get much better.

    Normal = Not spamming take downs, spamming leg kicks, spamming take downs, spamming, ground and pound and reversing all of your attempts at transitioning.

    But does that happen often? No

    The online is trash, full of people spamming and cheating their way to victories. The computer judges are trash, typical UFC title stuff that has impacted their sales since the first UFC on xbox. The game always fails to deliver in the online aspect.

    Take downs are extremely slow and do not flow with the speed of the game at all. Maybe UFC 3 will be different, but I wont get my hopes up.    … Expand

The key to success in this game is too take advantage of broken position for example side back mount you can attempt to block but it's useless all it takes is two hits to your arm and out of no where your fighters head jerks dramatically and your knocked out.… Expand

    Horrible customer service and game is broken if spending real money on the UFC points. WARNING, do NOT spend real money on ingame currency. I stupidly bought over $130 of UFC points and then the game kept crashing when trying to access these points. Now when I turn on the game it keeps going back to the UFC points screen and crashing. I contacted EA support and it was clear they could care less. They told me "contact xbox for a refund". Obviously xbox will not just refund money since they don't know what the issue is. The game was very fun until I made the stupid mistake of buying ingame UFC points. DO NOT spend money on this game because EA will not help you and it completely broke my game.… Expand
