    I’m not the biggest fan of modern platformers, many of which take great pride in frustrating players. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Kick & Fennick. Its tight controls, fun physics and progressive pacing made this a real joy to play through, and when the game did get challenging, pushing through felt more like a punch in the air than a kick to the groin. I’d have loved to have seen a bit more personality added, but Kick & Fennick was an overall entertaining experience.

    A nice platform game with good gameplay and controls, but its design feels quite uninspired and too repetitive, failing to offer decent incentives for the player to go on.

    Kick & Fennick is a charming adventure that never realizes its potential. There is something here that feels unique and exciting, but it never manifests. I had fun romping through the short campaign, but it never really challenged me the way it should have.

    A somewhat uncomfortably patronising experience, but generally Kick and Fennick has a silver lining in that it's short.

    This is one of those games that draws you in with an interesting premise, and then...after you spent your money on it...you realize that thereThis is one of those games that draws you in with an interesting premise, and then...after you spent your money on it...you realize that there is nothing more to the game than that one premise...and it repeats over and over and over and over until you decide that the games just not worth the effort of trying to complete. The 30th level is identical to the 1st. The only difference is that the developer put in some areas of great annoyance where you have to try to repeat an action 20 or 30 or 40 times in order to get past an obstacle.
    My solid advise is wait for this to either be part of a $1 flash sale, or wait and see if it becomes free after a period of time. Its only worth maybe $5 at most.
