    A successful TPS, RPG and online open word mix, with a balanced, spot-on gameplay and lots of details in a visually stunning - and packed full of dramatic stories - Manhattan. The Division offers something for any kind of player, be it a lone wolf, a co-op lover or a competitive gamer, with lots of things to do and great satisfactions due to the deep loot and character evolution system.

    The Division is a beautiful start for a project that will have to show in the next months it can convince players to keep playing it thanks to a constant flow of new contents for the end game. Only time will tell us if Ubisoft and Massive have done the perfect job.

    The Division offers a beautiful and realistic world which is greatly supported by fun and well-balanced gameplay with lots of variety in skills and weapons. But for now the game lacks high level content, making the experience a bit repetitive in the end.

    I would not say it’s the best shooter I’ve played on the Xbox One, nor is it a huge leap forward in video gaming as a whole, but I’ll be damned if I’m not having fun with it.

    If you can accept its myriad tonal inconsistencies and buy into the bullet-sponge combat, The Division is an intriguing social shooter that taps into the addictiveness of loot grinding in a novel setting.

    It's a squad-based game that just happens to take place in an open world, and that's basically it. I don't see Division lasting as long as other, similar games either months down the line, as it simply doesn't allow for anything on a raid-like level to truly hook in the dedicated crowd.

You can play solo or coop thanks to a very well built matchmaking system that allows you to join any friend of yours or request a group for your current mission.

    The size of the world is superb, and also is its details. There are a lot of secundary missions, looting missions to get points to improve your operation's base in order for your character to improve his habilities, and so on.

    When it comes to improve your arsenal and equipment, it is either fun and gratefull, because you ussually have to complete missions or defeat enemies to get such things, which helps a lot to improve and be able to face stronger enemies.

I honestly got this on a whim, hoping it would fill the destiny itch that was left by the great gameplay but skeleton of content, unless you like lag filled PVP because of design choices, but that's a different discussion. My whim was not wrong, and 20 hours in I am beyond entertained. I did not experience any bugs besides some hilarious AI pathing thus far that I've recorded, but this is nothing game breaking. I have also not had any network errors beyond the time they said the servers would be down for maintenance, but this may be in part I also have my Xbox One set on the dmz on my network, because of issues with the aforementioned destiny game. I Did run into the "manhattan area not available" message that nother reviewer mentioned, but it wasn't so much an issue with the game or ubisoft, it was a side ffect of playing a game that wasn't fully downloaded... 25mbps and it was ready in a few hours, it IS a big game, so if you have slow internet, do us all a favor and instead of complaining about how long it takes to download a game this big....go buy the game on disk to save us all the ear/eyeache :)… Expand
