One of the most ambitious DLCs in Assassin's Creed History (and the biggest, that's for sure) with a great story to tell but, in the end, it's not as groundbreaking in the gameplay department as we desired.

A correct game that, without excel in any aspect, can provide many hours of fun to fans of space simulators and sci-fi if they are seeking an adventure without complications.

It's one step below the original trilogy, but even so it manages to improve on it in certain aspects and offers a gigantic, overwhelming adventure, with plenty of interesting stories. If it only had been more polished in the technical department.

Co-op is a perfect fit for Little Nightmares III, enhancing the series' usual strengths, but the single-player experience has suffered as a result. So, playing it solo will be less enjoyable, while playing it with others can add a few points to your final score.

It may lack in originality, but 3000th Duel manages to merge both metroidvania and soulslike styles with great results. If you like games like Hollow Knight and Bloodstained, you'll like this one too.

Lords of the Fallen has plenty of problems, but we loved the combination of the same old soulslike formula with something as unique and interesting as the "double world" exploration. If they manage to fix some (if not all) of the problems, this might be one of the hidden gems of 2023... and one of the best soulslike of recent memory.

It may not be the most solid game out there, but it sure is a daring bet that works better than many had expected. It gives Sonic lore a new scope.

That such a project (so inspired by the love of retro) succeeds is always a joy. The game itself attributes certain imbalances in the difficulty curve and it is made a little short, but without a doubt it is agile, friendly and direct, in the style of those arcades that stole our fourth decades ago, without it "hurting" to empty our wallet.

Loading times make the experience a little worse (but not game breaking) and its expensive selling price (10 euros more than in other digital shops) make it tough to recommend... unless you want it to play on portable. There is no new content, no Switch exclusive content: it's a fast port.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is an unpretentious adventure that both kids and fans of the series will enjoy. However, its approach falls short of the depth and variety of many other LEGO games, making it clear that it could have done a little more.

Slipstream's retro arcade proposal knows very well its roots, who it's aimed for and where it wants to take the original formula, adding just the new elements and changes needed for not being a simple OutRun clone. If you loved Sega's classic runner, you've a high chance of falling in love with it.

The mix of genres in the game is original, but also confusing.

Shock Troopers is a fast and fun, yet simple, action game that brings back the feelings of the old arcade games. Switch version adds nothing new, except for its different modes: portable, tabletop and home console, but it is still enjoyable.

Leaving out the shortcomings of the original game, Tequila Works has made a good work bringing this title to the next-gen. His atmosphere, mystery, platforms, new mode and improve controls make the game addictive.

I am Setsuna is a very solid RPG, with classic mechanics, really fun and nice retro like graphics, worst are controls on PC his plain history.

It lacks some polish on the technical side, but if you love exploration and aren't afraid of one big "water level", Under the Waves is like a treasure hidden in the deep.

Sundered fuses a lot of ideas from different games and genres, and the result is a very unique experience, especially within the metroidvania genre. Not all these ideas work as well and some of them can be very polarizing, but if the game "clicks", it's one hell of a journey to the heart of darkness.

While it's a decent stealth game, Styx: Master of Shadows doesn't meet PS4's quality standards due to its bland AI, basic combat system and poor graphic design.

Its varied focus on action, exploring and suspense keeps working wonderfully on today's standards, altough current consoles could use a more ambitious graphical performance.

Deadly Premontion Origins is a cult classic that keeps being as shocking as it is surprising, a unique survival horror that you'll love or hate. We're from the first group, and still amazes us how crazy and strange it is, if you can forgive its technical flaws (looks like a PS2 game). Switch's port is far from perfect, but now you can enjoy it anywhere.

The Siege and the Sandfox is a unique combination of metroidvania and stealth, boasting some great ideas, but the poor execution of several of its elements results in a rather gritty mix.

Even if you're not very into the genre, you will find in CYGNI things that you will like for sure. Its gameplay is addictive, the visuals and level design impeccable (despite occasional slowdowns) and if you're the competitive kind, here you have something to keep you hooked for a long time with rankings and scores, despite being a "short" game.

Code Vein is a perfect RPG for newcomers. It keeps every element in the "souls like" genre, but combat is easier (thanks to a second character) and narrative seems more traditional. Anime style and vampires perfectly suit this kind of gameplay.

Darksiders 3 goes back to its Hack and Slash roots with some really engaging combat, challenging enemies, and a world that offers some great variety in its levels, but the course of the adventure ends up being somewhat linear.

A good point & click adventure that takes place in a hostile and unusual environment, with lots of interesting characters & puzzles to solve, although they don´t always have the most logical solution.

It's a shame the gameplay is so similar to past games and the exploration segments so bland, because the recreation of the anime it's truly spectacular; the best to date in a CyberConnect2 game. Fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba will probably enjoy it, even with the severe lack of content.

30 years after its release, Turrican is still a great 2D "run and gun" game. This remastered collection is extremely faithful to the original, and includes savegames, and rewind to make it easier for new players.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists can be a disappointment to the series' fans, as it left behind its main focus (RPG) to embrace the management of a city, with simple and route mechanics. What's worst is that even if it includes most of the main characters from the series, it doesn't use them in all of its full potential.

The "mutation" of the Worms essence to battle royale dynamics works surprisingly well. Rumble is a fast, attractive and, more importantly, fun experience. It needs to grow in content, though.

If you like slow-paced, quiet experiences, you'll feel in here as in a theme park. Don't expect hi octane adventures, just the pleasure of discovering more and more. [Early Access Score = 83]

Fe is an original platformer that fans of animals will surely love, thanks to the way it connects with nature through the language of the forest. Although it doesn't manage to send a message as powerful as it's visuals in regards to gameplay, it's worth your time just for purely artistic values.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is the usual Aspyr remaster: visually respectful (although without major changes), with small adjustments that improve the experience and with incalculable value as an exercise in preservation. They may not be the best Lara Croft games, but they are a treasure that deserves to be “looted”.

Even with quite a lot to improve on its technical side, Hyrule Warriors Legends packs a pretty complete experience mixing the rich Zelda universe with the best Musou mechanics we've seen to date. Includes all the downloadable content from the Wii U version, new modes and new characters, but lacks the multiplayer mode we saw on the original version.

TT Games captures the spirit of the four Jurassic movies in a funny videogame with an excellent co op play. But it´s very similar to the other LEGO games.

The indigo disk is the main dish of The hidden treasure or Area Zero: a great expansion with quality content, lots of new things and a ton of hours to play.

Rick and Morty console's debut is a VR game that faithfully recreates the animated series' humor and spirit... but in a limited way. The game will last you only 2-3 hours and, even with end game content, it probably won't hook you up (most of it it's minigame repetition). Also, if you have played Job Simulator, "déjà vu" is guaranteed...

Road 96 Mile 0 is a prequel that will be well received by fans of the first game by dynamically introducing new gameplay concepts such as musical mini-games. Although its approach loses strength by eliminating the originality of the procedural narrative, the plot will keep your interest thanks to a conventional, but very successful script.

It's the same formula as in the first game, but this time we have much more content and many more things to do, including online battles. Yo-kai Watch 2 consolidates this franchise as the best alternative to Pokémon.

Even without being a true and full remaster that improves graphics, framerate or even add new content, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy adapt with its highs and lows the trilogy seen on PS4 PS4 and Xbox One, leaving tons of fun and impressive combats, that newcomers will enjoy the most... even with the online modes broken as they're now.

Ancestors is more than a survival game. Panache Digital developed some interesting mechanics about evolution, learning and neuronal development. But the game has technical issues and gets repetitive after a few hours.

A New God is set in the Olympus, and presents some of the best puzzles in the genre, but we miss some exploration and it gets repetitive after a couple of hours.

Almost 8 years later, Saints Row The Third has to be one of the most craziest open world adventures. Uber stupid humor, explosive missions, crazy situations, character customization beyond silliness... all very fun. The best part is that it all works like a charm on Switch, even in handheld mode, a feature that makes it very attractive.

Donkey Kong Tipping Stars is a great game for beginners but it has low difficulty for hardcore players. It may be short, but its Bonus Levels and the Editor Mode can give a lot of funny moments. Anyway, it's not a revolutionary game.

Fitness Boxing 3 is a good addition for those who want to exercise with their console and add more routines, apart from going to the gym. It is more complete and varied than the previous installment, although it still has aspects that could be improved, starting with the lack of some options (variety of scenarios) or a tacky soundtrack full of MIDI covers.

A lot of people probably won't like the gameplay, but the visual impact is so strong that it's difficult not to recommend Scorn. It's so disturbing you'll want to look away, and so breathtaking that you won't be able to stop looking. It's the playable nightmare of a macabre mind.

A solid open world game that unfortunately falls short due to its repetition, even though most of its single player flaws are absent when playing online.

Perhaps it's the vampires, or the time travel, or its open-world Souls-like gameplay... Or maybe I shouldn't overthink it, and I simply really enjoyed Code Vein II, and that's all there is to it.

WRC 7 It is not the game rally lovers deserve. It repeats the same mistakes from last year, spoiling the potential of the official WRC license.

Maquette it's an interesting proposal, both in terms of gameplay (recursive worlds), and the way it tells the tale of a relationship. It's not perfect (frame rate issues, some puzzle design maybe are too complex and abstract...), but the precious message and the mark it will leave are, simply, magnificent.

Mother Russia Bleeds brings back that old arcade action shown on games like Double Dragon or Final Fight. It's fast, explicit and ultra-violent and, best of all, playable by four players simultaneously. Pixel art meets gore in a beat'em-up that we'd have killed to play when we were thirteen.

Watch Dogs: Legion elevates the formula allowing to control every character in the game, a unique and complex game mechanic with many possibilities... That doesn't go well with the narrative. But still, it's a fantastic action, stealth and hacking open world game.

Destroy All Humans! brings back all the mindless fun of this series of extraterrestrial action. It might not be the best-designed game out there, or the most graphically advanced... But how many games let you throw explosive cows with the power of your mind? Yep, just this one.

Project CARS 3 is not a standard sequel. It takes a lot of content from the two previous games (including the realistic handling of the cars), but it adds some arcade ideas that work and make it look more like GRID.

In spite of some minor technical glitch, Atomic Heart is a fun, spectacular and intense shooter, that will amaze the fans of the genre with a passion for narrative. Bol'shoi!

Legend of Keepers it's an entertaining mix of RPG, strategy and roguelite, that follows the path of all-time favourites like Dungeon Keeper, even in the humor. But its simplicity and repetitive game loop, among other problems like very tiny texts when playing on Switch on the go, harms the final impression.

An adventure game centered on the narrative with an interesting plot that is faithful to the spirit of Batman. A game that allows us to better know Bruce Wayne in his role of night watchman and member of high society.

Warriors All-Stars it's 'The Expendables' of the KOEI Tecmo videogames. His characters are his best complaint. A game focused almost exclusively on the musou lovers.

High on Life 2 isn't the best first-person shooter of the year, but it is a sequel that manages to offer some variety and madness while solving some of the problems that the first instalment had.

It doesn't matter if you like golf or not. Nintendo has turned it all over to make this slow sport a pure craziness with running, special shots or traps, making choices that will appeal all kind of gamers. All topped with an exquisite control and nice and colorful graphics. It's a shame that the story mode and online don't offer a little more...

We enjoyed exploration, puzzles and platforming in The Gunk. Image & Form Games delivers an interesting adventure set in a beautiful planet, which feels undeveloped in other aspects such as combat or equipment improvements.

Even with its noticeable flaws, Vampyr has the potential to be the new cult gem among vampire lovers. If you can see beyond technical limitations, the story and characters will trap you within their arms and suck until the very last drop of... your time.

The feeling of speed and adrenaline that comes from pod racing have not aged one iota.

The update of Until Dawn for PS5 and PC is not a bad game: it shines visually, despite flaws such as exaggerated gestures, stuttering or not passing 30 fps, leaving a visual feast more realistic than on PS4. Too bad the price is not more adjusted, like other remakes or remasters, because the perception of many players would change.

Be warned, Musou fans: if you try Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate your time will be sucked into an endless pit: more characters, a new ending, and more modes, weapons, magic and challenges, but with all the known problems: it's very similar to WO4 and it tends to be a little bit repetitive soon.

A remarkable port of the hit survival game we've already enjoyed on Xbox and PC. It prioritizes performance over resolution (and it really shows), allowing the huge garden to be brought to the Switch's circuits. Disappointing performance on desktop, but if you're looking to play it on portable, it's a good option.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy is a stealth platform game with three countries, times and very different characters. Our sole mission is to honor the Credo. Ideal for PS Vita, but it's not a perfect game.

We are surprised on how a solid game mechanic has evolved into a really enjoyable 3D experience. Even with some control and camera flaws, this is a solid and friendly adventure, specially for multiplayer.

A worthy new member of the Nintendo family, a solid strategy experience and a very charismatic setting and characters.

Kudos to EA for mentoring a game that brings new and effective ideas to the FPS formula. Immortals is a big, dynamic and appealing shooter, even with some derivative aspects in its aesthetics and design.

Finally, a new Pokémon game for Nintendo 3DS, made by Spike Chunsoft. After a title that was much criticized as Gates of Infinity, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is taking back the value that the first Pokémon titles had.

This decent spin-off will be especially enjoyed by Monster Hunter lovers and by the ones who make use of its multiplayer. But it would have been a much better game if the quests were not so repetitive and the visuals were not so simple.

A new entry in the horror genre that offers a clear and effective gameplay proposal. Some technical hiccups lessen the experience, but its a very enjoyable adventure, especially if you try the multiplayer.

Black and white graphics, traditional music and combat system, based on parries and counterattacks, make Trek To Yomi the closest experience to classic samurai films. A beautiful, yet short, experience.

Deliver Us Mars it's not an innovative game or one that surprises. If you played Deliver Us The Moon, you'll find the same ADN here. But the new location and story makes it a great game that will entertain you and hook you up till the, partly also because of its ability to recreate the atmosphere of the red planet accurately.

Right now, It's not easy to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance because of some technical and gameplay issues (on consoles), but it also isn't easy to say no to its unique and ambitious RPG approach. Once you're trapped in this faithful representation of the kingdom of Bohemia, Warhorse's game becomes the ultimate Middle Age simulator.

Eternal Strands establishes itself as a daring opera prima whose result is as interesting as it is uneven. The potion achieved by bringing together Dragon Age, Zelda Breath of the Wild and Shadow of the Colossus manages to attract attention, although there are aspects that could have been developed further.

Age of Empires Definitive Edition manages to fulfill its function as a remaster. The graphics and the sounds are truly a delight, and there are some small playable improvements as well, but these are weighed down by the AI and a pathfinding system which still does not behave as well as it should.

SAO Hollow Realization is an interesting MMORPG Simulator that fans of the saga will like. The Japanese voices and the ambience are its strengths, but its complex battle system and the modest variety of missions and enemies can subtract interest.

A good action RPG with a great customization system and fun battles. But God Eater Rage Burst can be repetitive and it has a poor technical section.

Milestone shows its passion for racing in Ride 2, a game that is quite big in terms of motorbikes or circuits, but the graphics are quite poor for the genre and even the current hardware.

Although graphically it is a little below what we expected at this point, its mechanics are totally faithful to the R-Type legacy and offers a remarkable challenge to all those who long for the space shoot'em-ups of the golden era.

Not the best entry in the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology, but a sure bet for anyone who wants to enjoy a direct, sincere slasher experience.

Cris Tales shines with its astounding aesthetics and the way it manages the time travel elements, specially in combat. But, at the same time, it seems to be stuck on the past, bringing most of the glaring problems of the genre (grinding, areas that feels as corridors, repetitive optional tasks...). And it's a shame, because it has potential.

This port of Vampyr is the perfect way to investigate yours sins wherever you are. Great job for a great videogame.

Isle of Armor is a good small step for Pokémon, but we can only recommend it to players who want to continue capturing and fighting.
