Elden Ring: Nightreign is a bold experiment that successfully combines addictive roguelite gameplay with the best of Souls – an excellent combat system and a constant sense of challenge. The game excels in multiplayer, where it delivers strong moments of cooperation, effective party roles and constant action without dead spots. On the other hand, it hits its limits in the single-player game – frustration from lost runs, lack of communication options and some lackluster boss fights prevent it from being a full-fledged experience on the level of the main game. Nightreign is ideal for experienced Elden Ring players who want a good dose of combat and experimentation with builds. However, it will probably discourage newcomers.

A system-enhanced sequel of by many the controversial thirteenth installment is like a sad song. Its form wins clearly over its content that has been "improved" to the utter dullness. Buy only in the case you don't care about a story nor about a fine-tuned combat system that would offer you an appropriate challenge.

The remake of Resident Evil 3 isn’t a very good survival horror - it actually works much better as a story-driven zombie shooter. The strong female protagonist is maybe too strong, at least as far as the bland bad guy is concerned.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment delivers a stylish, action-packed spectacle that proves even a Zelda spin-off can offer a full-fledged experience. Koei Tecmo successfully combines massive battles, a surprisingly strong narrative, and well-crafted gameplay systems into a game that rewards every button press with a rush of dopamine. While some repetition inevitably sets in and the base difficulty could be higher, it remains an entertaining and technically polished title that will satisfy both Zelda fans and lovers of pure, unfiltered action.

A great expansion pack worthy of the original game. Surprisingly, the game offers many new properly-dosed ideas, but at the same time it forces to implement new narrative techniques with the useless effort to hold the established boss concept. Jotunnslayer is, first and foremost, perhaps the most visually striking Vampire Survivors clone, set against an appealing Nordic backdrop. Unfortunately, the game as a whole lacks the polish it deserves. Individual abilities are so powerful that they rarely demand strategic thought. Still, the title guides players through worlds that differ mechanically and feature engaging boss encounters. Once these worlds are completed, however, the experience loses momentum, as the endless mode barely functions.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is and isn't a new game. Under the hood beats the heart of the good old SnowRunner, but it is more accessible, offering a different experience not only due to a distinct theme but also because of smoother gameplay without the deep water challenges. However, the excessive recycling of old materials, the untapped potential of certain elements, and a host of issues affecting the experience cannot be ignored. A fair RPG that combines Japanese and European tradition, and that offers a full experience for tens or even hundreds of hours of gameplay. As Dark Souls it gives you nothing for free, as Skyrim it offers a great living world with its own rules. The game adds adrenaline fights along with its unique sidekick system, aiming this way for the best role-playing game title of the year.

Eriksholm trades freedom for thoughtful storytelling, where each scene unfolds like a puzzle. What I enjoyed most was simply immersing myself in the beautiful early-20th-century Scandinavian setting, carried forward by the music, dialogue, and gameplay itself, proving that even bite-sized games with just a few mechanics can be pretty good when they do exactly what they’re supposed to.

El Paso, Elsewhere will be a nostalgic journey for many, reminiscent of a time when action games were refreshingly straightforward. Its unique noir-supernatural setting and action sequences filled with slow-motion and flying bullets are engaging. The story keeps you glued to the screen, but the game struggles with a lack of variety. Just a pity that the artificial intelligence leaves much to be desired in the intelligence department.

Despite a relatively large number of bugs and occasional outdated visuals, Rogue Trader remains a fantastic and massive RPG that is a clear must-play for all fans of the 41st millennium. It shouldn't be missed by enthusiasts of grim narratives and intricate turn-based combat either. Rogue Trader is filled with epic moments, decisions that shape the fate of entire star systems, and brutal rawness that makes delving into the world of Warhammer and the God-Emperor worthwhile.

An interesting blend of card and action games, which is definitely worth attention. To be a top game it needs to get rid of a slow start, improve the card visuals and remove a few small problems during fights.

Modern Warfare 3 does not crown one dramatic story with pride. A campaign is more or less a relict of an old engine and design flaws mainly that are successfully selling as a trademark. Its ranking is saved once again by its multiplayer that brings just a single style of gameplay. However, it does its job and entertains those gamers, who are fine with it.

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls is an adventure which pays tribute to the old classics by its enormous content. Small budget and a lack of resources are unfortunately clearly visible. Old-school gamers who remember the Exile II will enjoy this one anyway.

I hoped to experience the feeling of ruling a fantasy kingdom. Instead, I got a confused, arbitrary simulator of moving pips on a scale. It’s well written, granted, and it certainly looks pretty, but its core mechanics just aren’t well thought out and implemented.

RoadCraft is the most accessible entry in the SnowRunner family, shifting the focus more toward gameplay than simulation. While it strips away some of the entertaining, yet realistic systems from its predecessors, it more than makes up for it with its own innovations. Unfortunately, the simulation lacks consistency, and the game's poor technical performance can easily rob you of hours of driving fun.

A pleasant surprise for every gamer with any platform that wishes to try out entertaining arcade gameplay in Mario Kart fashion. There's nothing to criticize, just the framerate drops in multiplayer. Although this is an arcade classic, it is excellently worked out. All thumbs up.

Great turn-based strategy game with quirky animals stylized in medieval illuminations. Inkulinati is addictive, illustrations are funny and imaginative, but challenging battles against ink monsters will thoroughly test your logical thinking. Beneath its cute exterior lies a small but complex strategy game.
