Greater, more predatory, more brutal, more dynamic, more sophisticated, richer. Simply better. A game that shows how a good-looking sequel should look like. An excellent base of gameplay has reached almost perfection from last time and creators also worked on support mechanisms and systems where they were needed. The result is a splendid, blood-filled entertainment.

Excellent first person action with a strong RPG element allows countless gameplay approaches with its sensitively set systems and fantastic game- and level- design. It brings an eye-catching story, a great scriptwriting, a mercilessly exciting atmosphere, and it does not allow criticism of logical deficiencies because it explains everything carefully. Technically, it is flawless and runs smoothly. A handful of minor flaws can be overlooked with no regret.

Veilguard delivers a solid sequel filled with epic story moments and a fascinating world, yet it doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessors. While the character writing feels weaker, battles can be repetitive, and the beginning is somewhat unsteady, the game still offers much for devoted series fans. However, it lacks that spark needed to fully restore BioWare’s former glory.

A worthy successor to the delightfully unexpected detective hit Strange Horticulture. It boasts excellent writing, a strong audiovisual identity, a generous variety of puzzle types and a wonderfully bizarre catalogue of curious items. For the next installment, the narrative could use a more confident structure, a slightly shorter runtime would likely strengthen the pacing, and one unnecessary minigame should have been left on the cutting-room floor. Wasteland 2 is wasting your time in all aspects of its design, although all of them are capable of being entertaining, at least sometimes. A story of varying qualities that is full of clichés, sheer stupidity but also of humorous moments and references to for about billions of things manages to hardly hold a gamer's attention. On the top of that, there are tons of bugs in the game. If it were not for Brian Fargo along with other anointed heads who have created this piece, it would have flown under the radar as a cheap Russian imitation of Fallout that have been delayed for ten years.

Jamestown is an old school hardcore arcade shooter. By its visual approach, its music and its gaming philosophy, it creates an imaginary comeback of the golden age of video arcade games. Its background set in the 17th steampunked century is only strengthening the overall enjoyment drawing young gamers on a peep show at those olden times of video gaming.

It might be a reboot, but Modern Warfare’s observations about, well, modern warfare are entirely its own. Neither the campaign nor the multiplayer are in any way weaker than in the original Call of Duty 4 - and that is quite the praise indeed.
