While the single player may come off as generic to some, the story is interesting enough to be worth a look for anyone with even a passing interest in the sci-fi shooter genre. Still, it’s the multiplayer that really stands out as the best on the Wii.

In truth, there is absolutely nothing good about Revenge of the Fallen on the Wii. From the horrible graphics, sound, controls, camera and value I could not find a single meaningful positive thing to say about this game. This is yet another poorly made videogame adaptation that should have never been made.

Adapted from Korea’s casual golf MMO and cult classic PangYa: Fantasy Golf for the PSP entwines a fantasy story and RPG elements, with an abundance of unlockables and collectibles, and a variety characters, modes, tournaments and challenges. From there, the rest is up to you but if you’ve been looking for another HotShots Golf, then there’s little doubt that you will have fun as you try to become the next PangYa Master.

There was several times during the game that I laughed out loud and that helped make this already enjoyable game much more fun. Certainly a must buy for fans of the original or just action fans in general but if you did not like the first game make sure you try out the demo first because the innovation from the first game is not that noticeable until you are well into playing it.

It’s hard to recommend Overlord: Minions in its current state. The frustration factor is too high, thanks in part to the broken controls. Those with a high patience level will find a few great ideas here, but unfortunately, the majority will likely be unable to make it that far.

Overall this expansion is not as good as the last one, Fallout 3 Broken Steel, but I have to say it is the most fun one so. There is a ton of small quests and great areas to explore in Point Lookout and it shows why Bethesda is one of the best developers of single player role playing games.

With Guitar Hero 5 shipping in less than three months and being touted as “the ultimate Guitar Hero experience”, it’s a bit odd that Activision decided to offer this compilation on a retail disc instead of going with the downloadable content model. Still, any fan of Guitar Hero won’t overlook the fact that you can now play the most popular tracks of the franchise with more than one instrument and won’t hesitate to add the game to their game collection.

The original Puzzle Quest set the bar so high for Galactrix it is almost unfair to compare the two but in the end you must. If you can get past the “dumbed” down gameplay this is actually a fun and lengthy worthwhile gaming experience which most puzzle fans and Role Playing Gamers will enjoy. If I had to recommend the Windows PC or Xbox Live Arcade version of the game I would say go with the Xbox Live Arcade version because it just feels better and seems to be more fun for me even the second time through the game.

Overall, Flock will draw players in with its cutesy and whimsical world. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you liked the idea of building your own levels in LittleBigPlanet and the adorable world of The Maw, you’ll enjoy the marriage of the two here. But at $14.99, it might seem a little pricey for a downloadable title.

The Godfather 2 is a great game in a lousy shell. If EA turned around and made the third entry in this series into a competent sandbox shooter and improved on the Don’s View mode, making it more useful and adding more depth to it, dropping the Godfather movie tie-ins, it would be a lot easier to recommend. As it stands now, you can find games that do what this game tries to do a lot better.

In the end the price of this mission pack will turn away those players who want much more bang for their buck and I cannot recommend the game to those who just play single player games, but just those who play multiplayer only or both multiplayer and single player games.

Ninja Blade is an interesting game but no different from what we’ve seen in the past. It actually brings many key elements together from other action franchises into one action frenzied game. Between the enjoyable hack and slash and the outrageous number of quick-time events, there’s a game that will make you spend a few quality hours until you’re definitely done with it.

Now, if you are a fan of turn based strategy gaming then this is the game for you, especially if you were a fan of Fantasy Wars. This is fun and it is even a better game than Fantasy Wars was so fans of Turn Based Strategy games should buy this, but if you are un-sure a game like this is something you will enjoy then wait for the demo or download the demo for Fantasy Wars and see if this type of game appeals to you.

The concept behind Deep Silver’s Professor Heinz Wolff’s Gravity is good on paper but it was poorly executed in every possible way. There are some salvageable parts the game, just not enough to warrant any sort of purchase. If you’re still tempted to try this one out, I can only recommend renting the Wii version as the controls make it the only one worth playing.

Equilibrio isn’t a game that will appeal to everyone. The lacking production values and overly simplistic controls will more than likely turn off people who have played the bigger names that share its premise. However, if you’re looking for a quirky and interesting title that utilizes balance board peripheral and does it right, for 500 Wii Points, you really can’t go wrong.

To get the Major Minor’s Majestic March experience, all you need to do is pick up your Wii-remote and begin waving it up and down for a few seconds. Once you’ve done that, you have essentially played this game. Save yourself the hour it will take to play this game and head over to your local high-school and watch a real Marching Band.

And Yet It Moves is one of those unique titles that only come around once in a while. The 15 dollar price tag may deter a few but competition modes, achievements and a stunning audio-visual experience make the title well worth the price. If nothing else, you’ll be getting a unique and dizzying adventure through this not-so common puzzle platformer.

For those who love a real challenge and enjoy a good bloodbath will go head-over-heels for what The Dishwasher has to offer. The tight controls and long length make this a valid purchase for those who want to experience a test even if the story is fairly weak.

We have to applaud 2K’s initiative to offer a solid boxing alterrnative on the Wii. While Don King’s Prizefighter on the Xbox 360 was not the game many boxing fans expected it to be, the Wii version is certainly more fun than that boxing game found in Wii Sports and certainly more efficient than Ready 2 Rumble Revolution and Facebreaker.

I always try to find some positive beneath the negative. Unfortunately, Box Office Bust doesn’t deserve the try. It took away all the respect and love for the franchise I had left. Just like George Lucas tried to do with the Star Wars Holiday Classic, Codemasters should go out, find all the copies, bury them in the darkest place known to man, leave it there and never speak of it again.

Any fan of metal rock will find more than enough from both Metallica and the bands that inspired them. With great care taken to pick a stellar track list that best represent the band’s music this is a game that Metallica fans will not soon forget since it is most likely sitting on their game shelf now. If you’re a fan of metal music this is a must own.

Throughout the time I spent with Lux-Pain, there was an underlying feeling that the game would have been better off as an anime series. There is loads of text to read and characters to meet, but the time you spend actually playing is relatively small.

If you think sorting seven cards in a matter of seconds is hard, well that’s because it is. The game most likely won’t appeal to UNO’s broad casual audience like before, but the game definitely will bring Microsoft’s hardcore crowd calling. For only 800 MS points, around 10 dollars, you’re getting a brand new take on the UNO franchise.

While it won’t win huge awards, The Wheelman remains a fun game to experience. The saddest part of all is that Midway’s economic problems have clearly hampered the development of the game. It feels unfinished, unpolished and compressed into its simplest form. When you go to the store to buy it or rent it, just don’t expect to be blown away and it won’t hurt your feelings.
