Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades is a great expansion of the series on the DS.
-
Essentially, it’s the setlist that will sell you on Modern Hits. The new features don’t add much to the experience, but it’s still a fun game that gives you that dose of Guitar Hero on the run you crave.
-
Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits is made for the Guitar Hero fan.
-
The improved graphics do make the game more pleasing to look at when you actually get a chance to drift your gaze away from the fret board. However, constant repetition of songs makes the set list obnoxious after awhile – even the songs that you do like.
-
It's hard to recommend Modern Hits to anyone who has either played the other On Tour titles, it's just so similar to the previous titles.
-
Too little evolution from past GH games.
-
We're not completely humourless, and the whimsical silliness of game, particularly the guitar duels, still raise a smile; but the first On Tour did that too, and it was considerably more fun.
