    Like the movie it’s based on, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen isn’t trying to radically change the genre or introduce innovative new features. It’s giving you great-looking robots that go off and fight other great-looking robots as you watch the resulting explosions.

    Revenge of the Fallen lacks the polished sheen and balance of some of its competitors – its looks are average, and the level design and mission parameters are painfully typical. But when the Transformers themselves are freed from silly plotlines and allowed to stand or fall on their own merits, as they are in the multiplayer modes, their distinct set of abilities make them truly engaging.

    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is in many ways an improvement over the weak first game. The online-multiplayer works well just like the enjoyable fighting-system. The controls take some getting used to but fit the game once you’ve mastered them. The downside is that missions lack variety and the game has uninspired level-design. What remains is an enjoyable game that unfortunately doesn't impress in every way.

    If anyone of you guys don't like the movie this game is based on even though i do like it, then this is like a better version of it.     The Multiplayer was the only god damn thing that keept players around in this game and it was the only reason somebody played it. Now after it is gone I have no reason to own a legitimate copy cause Activision decided not to give players at least an eye blink in form of a how the multiplayer or even the game itself work. Anyway thanks for years of joy and nostalgia TF2 maybe there will be a remaster Praise the Allspark it will happen.    … Expand

How wrong I was, I've always liked transformers but this game doesn't do a very good job with them. Sure its cool that you get to play as your favourite characters like Optimus, bumblebee and Megatron but with combat thats finnicky to use and levels that always feel to crammed, especially if your using an airial character this game just falls. The plot is also very stale and doesn't let you replay the most epic bits of the movie or in the case of the devastator fight, handles them so poorly that there isn't much point. The multiplayer is ok but to get good you have to put more time into this game than it deserves.… Expand
