A movie-based game that is well done and relatively problem free? X-Men Origins: Wolverine is definitely one of the more pleasant surprises of the year.
-
I'd say it's a perfect rental, considering the run time of about 6-8 hours, and definitely worth picking up once a price drop kicks in.
-
This tears your skin off! Fast gameplay, customisable upgrades and lots of style – despite the repetitive action, Wolverine definitely is the best game incarnation of our favorite super-hero.
-
While X-Men Origins: Wolverine has some nice features, it ultimately can’t shake its mediocre gameplay.
-
Perhaps the greatest achievement here is the way the gameplay evokes the sensation of being Wolverine.
-
It has its flaws, and is by no means the perfect game, but it is the perfect Wolverine-simulator, at least for the time being.

Playstation Official Magazine UKThen there's the visual sadness, which includes duff lighting, awkward cameras, and the stuttering Zoetrope-style framerate. [June 2009, p.98]
