The Good Life is the latest game from “Swery”. You'll find an open world similar to Deadly Premonition, with its many quests and its tedious movements, and level of playability. It does not do much better than it. No, what will save the game and get you interested is its world. Cute at first glance, but darker than it looks since murders will be the center of the story ... Nevertheless, the overall atmosphere is more relaxed and fun there than in Deadly Premonition. Finally, note that on the Xbox One S version that we tested via the game pass, the technical aspect was simply completely swept up. To enjoy The Good Life, you will need to be a big fan of Swery, and be able to inflict all the faults of the game on yourself to glimpse any semblance of truth.

Dakar 18 has plenty of good ideas and has managed to capture what makes the interest of a rally raid like the Dakar. Unfortunately its deficient performance in terms of sensations is causing it great harm. This will only be bearable for true motorsport enthusiasts and this particular kind of event. The others will remain stuck on a rigid animations and a technical realization globally below the average.

Even though its game system works, and you're the type of gamer that is patient and motivated, Lord of Arcana doesn't win from the comparison with Monster Hunter, from which it draws most of its design without trying to conceal it. Let's be clear : it doesn't match its model, in terms of fun nor content or variety, nor even in terms of combat or richness. We'd need to completely forget about Capcom's franchise in order to enjoy Lord of Arcana despite its shortcomings.

Bodycount is supposed to be a violence venting machine. A very arcady FPS, if you will. But though the action itself is indeed there, nothing is making it stand out from the other productions of the genre, and the load of shortcomings (poor AI, average production values, uninteresting special moves system, completely dull story) will probably ruin the fun for most. With some heavy eights of the genre incoming, or already there, it's impossible to recommend.

Crime Boss could have been a nice experience, especially since there is no 400 Payday-like. There was clearly a niche to be taken while surfing on that nice cast of actors, but nothing was done. Minimal service, failed service with this. Since between the bad ideas of game design, the absent direction, the failed dubbing and the far from great graphics, it's hard to recommend it. Especially since for less than twenty euros, Payday 2 does a better job, despite its age.

A light portable version keeping the basic principles, with adapted ergonomics but without every bell and whistle that were its charm. You can get it if your really won't be able to keep away from the other versions for long, but even if it's your case, I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want to play it in 2D, since the 3D gives more headaches than added enjoyment.

Fuel Overdose is a clear take on a classic, old-school, top-down racer with weapons games that were much more common in the 90's. Its nostalgic approach is enriched with very neat ideas like the grappling hook or remote mines, but it's also visible in terms of production values. Despite its visual shortcomings, little bugs and imperfections, it's typically the kind of little indy game that could become a dear and memorable experience, if only it didn't lack a local multiplayer, or players in its online multiplayer.

If you take its physics, gameplay and map, then Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is really a good racing game. Pleasant to take in hand, both at the controller and at the wheel, the game knows how to offer good sensations within its varied environment and its successful reconstitution. But at the moment, it is particularly difficult to advise on its purchase, as it has suffered from profound problems in the process of being resolved. Balan Wonderworld is sadly an old-school platformer with all of the 90's worst flaws. Yet colorful, Yuji Naka's first game with Square Enix lacks almost everything, and everyone who likes even a tiny bit the genres should look somewhere else to find some fun.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is not at all up to the manga or the anime. It could have been a good adaptation if it had benefited from care, ideas and consistency in its development. He does not honor his genre nor the manga he is supposed to adapt. The rendering is catastrophic, embarrassing and shameful for any lover of JJK.

The feeling that remains after playing Mindjack, is that the game had a really nice concept, but screwed it over completely half-way through. Wait, not half-way, even sooner... like, right at the beginning. And so, we end up playing a poor action-shooter game, with no taste whatsoever, with average visuals at best, super repetitive action, not even able to correctly copy what's out there.

Meridian: New World is a classic strategy game. It lacks in variety, but remains fun and effective. Too bad that the visuals have not been worked more.

If you're lucky enough, you may enjoy some multiplayer rounds. Apart from that, there is almost nothing that can hold you. Save your time, look away.

Ghostbuster Sanctum of Slime is a small action coop title based on a single gameplay idea (monsters of a specific color can only be harmed by the same color). But its production value is poor, its story and atmosphere are dull, its levels very repetitive, and human players are mandatory since the AI can't keep up after 3 hours into the game. That's a lot of shortcomings for a single game.

Ape Escape was the first game to require the use of a DualShock controller on the original PlayStation, but this new PS3 episode won't be as important to PlayStation history as his illustrious predecessor was. It's a repetitive rail shooter where you switch from butterfly net to catapult to fan in order to capture monkeys and get as much bananas as possible, but it's mainly aimed at younger kids. With its nice animated sequences and a fair game mechanic, parents can offer it safely, but the lack of a multiplayer mode to share the experience and the overall lack of variety are hard to forgive.

Yaiba is a Ninja Gaiden spin-off, but it can't be compared to the other games of the series in terms of gameplay quality. Absolutely not.

What a sad ending for the Harry Potter videogame saga this part 2 is. Solely focused on action, in order to give meaning to the PS Move but failing in doing so, this PS3 title a simple port of the Wii version. Visually below average, too linear and too short, this adaptation of Harry's adventures will only have appeal in the eyes of the yonger and most Potter-addicted gamers.

A game with a lot of sexy fan service, and good graphism, but a real lack of action based content that force you to "farm" to get all the swimsuits.
