A bad game was bound to be released among all the launch titles of the 3DS. Asphalt 3D, even though its seems comprehensive on paper, can't make us stick to the 3D screen. Its production values are so poor, that it seems like it's been a rushed port from previous versions on low spec hardware. If you want to race in 3D with your 3DS, for the time being, favor Ridge Racer.

One may enjoy Naughty Bear for a while, but quickly enough, reality will catch up. The idea of a massacre starring adorable fluffy bears is undoubtedly a brilliant one, but it is poorly implemented here. Slow, imprecise, poised by narrow levels, and a to-soon to come lack of inspiration to continue driving the original idea further make it a concept that couldn't mature and blossom to become a good enough game.

It's sure that developers of Fear Effect Sedna are huge fans of the franchise. They had some ideas about this new episode and there are a few elements that feel compelling. But in the end, there are too many things that just don't work or frustrate the players. Too bad.

Combat of Giants : Dinosaurs 3D is all its title immediately suggests : a shoddy game. Even though it's quite likeable thanks to the dinosaurs-in-3D appeal, in termes of gameplay, we're drowning in the primitive soup of gameplay mechanics from which the video games emerged. It's so basic that if you may have fun the 5 first minutes, there's no way it might last beyond that.

Very inspired by the Lucha Libre comic, Lucha Fury offers a really polished artistic direction, colorful visuals, and a fun mexican wrestling take on the atmosphere. But once you get your hands on the controller, it feels like you've been suplexed hard : the gameplay clearly lacks smoothness, the characters feel like they're ice skating all the time, collision bugs are legion, and there's latency in the execution of the combat moves... The special moves seem dull and there aren't any enemy really fun to battle. Levels are repetitive, poorly paced, musics can make you crazy... it's the typical example of a beat'em all with a world and atmosphere that would have been perfect for the genre, if only the gameplay wasn't a real mess.

If I were to recommend the game to a friend, I'd argue that it would be better to know, beforehand, that the production values and the playability really lack polish, before choosing to purchase it. It's so much so that it can, from time to time, completely ruin the experience. To cut a long story short, Postal 4 is a big joke. A joke sold for 40€. A very bad game that, as a bonus, is obviously happy to be so. There is nothing to save. It's not provocative, it's not satirical and it's certainly not "outrageously funny" as the studio tries to oversell it. In reality, Postal 4 is a dumping ground for bad ideas that are poorly interwoven and in bad taste. The whole thing is crushed under a bunch of bugs too numerous to enjoy and graphics that are too good to look at. In the end, apart from the sporadic presence of Jon St John's voice, there's nothing that could save the game from absolute ruin.
