Jul 8, 2011Spending 800 Microsoft Points on Lucha Fury will definitely not be a mistake. Its humor, adequate comic-style graphics, unlockable content and especially its amazing offline co-op are the reasons why Lucha Fury successfully manages to take the player on a trip to a Mexican world of brawls full of fun.
-
Jul 14, 2011Lucha Fury is a beat-'em-up with a polished artistic direction, colorful visuals and poor gameplay.
-
Jul 19, 2011A good idea in terms of graphics and concept doesn't always determine a good game, and Lucha Fury stands as an example of this. Charming and interesting to see, this game is simply and sadly not entertaining to play.
-
Jul 12, 2011Lucha Fury could be a decent brawler, but the fun in its gameplay is brought down greatly by its bad controls.
-
Jul 8, 2011Lucha Fury is hardly recommendable, even for diehard beat'em up fans.

Jul 6, 2011Very inspired by the Lucha Libre comic, Lucha Fury offers a really polished artistic direction, colorful visuals, and a fun mexican wrestling take on the atmosphere. But once you get your hands on the controller, it feels like you've been suplexed hard : the gameplay clearly lacks smoothness, the characters feel like they're ice skating all the time, collision bugs are legion, and there's latency in the execution of the combat moves... The special moves seem dull and there aren't any enemy really fun to battle. Levels are repetitive, poorly paced, musics can make you crazy... it's the typical example of a beat'em all with a world and atmosphere that would have been perfect for the genre, if only the gameplay wasn't a real mess.

Jul 13, 2011I wish I just saw the screen shots, as once you download and press start, the game falls apart like a cheap suit. Oh and if for some reason you defend this game and think I'm way off base, I have some garbage that needs to be put out that you can sift through that may look interesting to you. While some of my trash may look useful, in the end, like Lucha Fury, it's just trash.
