The story and visuals of Randal's Monday feel very promising at first. But this point-and-click suffers from a lack of sharp characters and dialogues, while the puzzle design can make you shed a tear as it asks you to try everything with all the items in your possession... without knowing why. A disappointment.- Gameblog.fr

Sure, the augmented reality brings something unusual to the game. Feeding your pet, play with it, check its health, etc. does have something magical to it, especially with the familiar backgrounds of your own home. But beyond this initial amazement, the not-so deep activities, the technical limitations of the PSP's camera, and the annoying loading times will tarnish the fun you can get in the long run. That's why the PS3 version remains so much better.- Gameblog.fr

Far from being a void attempt at the genre in digital form, Faery is charming thanks to its freshness and classic world revisiting the forgotten tales and legends. But it will will quickly show its limits to the RPG fans, because of its not-so-deep gameplay. Despite its limitations, Faery remains an interesting proposition, if you have already consumed all the must-have games of the downloadable offerings out there.- Gameblog.fr

Somewhere between Overlord and Pikmin, Army Corps of Hell uses the gameplay mechanics of this last title, but wrapped in a Hell-inspired world. A devil character throws its minion into battle instead of himself. Unfortunately, the game is visually quite poor and soon becomes boring in between the boss battles.- Gameblog.fr

Don't even think about playing Cyberpunk 2077 on base PS4, its performance is awful. Of course, no one can expect a game to run like it does on a good PC, where it is a stellar experience. But what we feel is that this version was abandoned, no effort was put in it. Blurry, not very smooth, suffering from NPC that just pop or have no faces for a couple of seconds. It also feels very empty, which obliterates its positive qualities. Not to mention myriad glitches and hiccups that are probably less evident on PS4 Pro or PS5, but which make us say that you need a computer or, if everything goes well, wait for the Next-Gen versions if you want to have a real taste of Cyberpunk 2077.- Gameblog.fr

Incoming movie? Quick, get me a game out there! That's how one could summarize Transformers: Dark of the Moon. With super linear TPS phases and a failed racing gameplay, this episode only has its Mecha license and steam-venting ability for itself. AI's a mess, most of the original sequences aren't really convincing, and its production values are clearly not on par with the rest of the game products of today.- Gameblog.fr

This DS game isn't as bad as its HD counterparts, despite its average graphics and some flaws of playability. Rooms: The Main Building had managed to get our attention, but it fails in the end. It's proof that if good ideas are enough to hook the player, they have to be used with ingenuity for him to keep playing. Rooms interesting game design is cursed with a less-than-inspired level design : the lack of challenge nullifies any pleasure one may get in using the items lined-up to solve the riddles of every stage. Too bad, some of the better rooms were a hint as to what that game could have achieved, but didn't.- Gameblog.fr

Train Sim World is an average game on PC and bad one on consoles. It has the great advantage of occupying a "niche" genre that is free of competition. Its qualities could satisfy the amateurs of railway simulation, but all the others remain at the station. It's a shame, because by modifying some elements of form and scenario it could have made the exercise attractive for a wider audience. Maybe future updates will improve it? Unfortunately Dovetail's habit is rather to offer many expensive DLCs. We hope this will change ...- Gameblog.fr

Tennis World Tour 2 may look like a simple update, but proves to be a really deep overhaul, both from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. That translates into a much punchier feel with a more authentic rendering overall, thanks to a subtle management of timing and faults. While some lingering assistance still generates imprecision, filling such loopholes surely belongs to Big Ant's work. The Australian studio thus shaped the best tennis simulation on current consoles at least, because of far more experienced competitors on PC. Hence Nacon can develop legitimate eSports ambitions, as long as it stands away from balance or greedy issues through an artificial cards system for instance.- Gameblog.fr

It may have "Super" in its title, but that's not how we'd describe this title. Extremely repetitive and plagued by a gameplay that's as deep as a dry pond, Super Pokémon Rumble is a one-button action game where you bash Pokémon toys in tiny areas to add them to your collection and benefit from their powers. Arena combats are available as well, but if the fans may see that as a simple yet enjoyable venting entertainment offer, most will see that as an underwhelming title designed to squeeze out some quick bucks out of an over-successful franchise. Between the failed infiltration and dull fights, Redfall leaves us with a particularly bitter taste. The desire to loot epic equipment, to discover the bosses of the game (ultimately too rare) and the coop are all reasons that prevent the controller from falling from our hands. But with each confrontation - as insipid as it is ridiculous because of a strawberry AI - and with each new uninviting objective, one wonders what we are still doing there. So, we continue, to see if what awaits us is worth it, to realize that it is not. Are you looking for a very good FPS to do solo? Redfall is definitely not for you. Are you a fan of vampires and want an affordable experience to do with friends thanks to the Game Pass? Arkane Austin's game will fill you up for a very short time, at best.- Gameblog.fr

Kinect Star Wars is full of shortcomings. Its playability is approximative at best, its very permissive difficulty, and average production values, despite a nice artistic direction. But despite all that, some mini-games are really fun, like the podracing, the Rancor full-on destruction sequences, or the dancing with Vader. It's a family game, no doubt, and a nicely marketed one, that will probably please its core target. But if you're a demanding Star Wars fan and core gamer, there's nothing here for you.- Gameblog.fr

This is, by far, the most otaku game I've ever come across. So much so, that its blend of pervy silliness and fan service for hikikomori lovers can run on one's nerves pretty quickly. Despite prestigious influences like Final Fantasy in its aesthetic and Devil May Cry in its gameplay, Lost Soul Aside clearly doesn't hold a candle to these illustrious licenses. While its combat and progression system are globally solid, if not original, its story is as conventional as can be, its all-encompassing artistic direction lacking coherence, and its very choppy performances, notably suffering from major framerate issues, are clearly its downfall. A somewhat sad state for a new Chinese game that exudes the desire to do well, which required a considerable development time of nine years, but at a price that is too high for what it offers as it stands.- Gameblog.fr

In addition to its insignificant art direction, Castle of Heart can be really frustrating. Indeed, you spend most of your time making your way by fleeing from tenacious enemies and lethal projectiles. Actually, this game is not worth your time. Run, you fools!- Gameblog.fr

We were expecting a serious competitor against Layton. Lautrec is aiming for more than a succession of riddles, with added exploration, stealth, and a hint of RPG-styled combat. But it doesn't really seduce in any aspect of the lot. The only real success is the atmosphere, and the bits and pieces of knowledge you can get on the city of Paris.- Gameblog.fr

With a cryptic business model, one would prefer the web-based F2P version of Akaneiro, if only it wasn't so dull and forcibly repetitive.- Gameblog.fr

Battle of Z suffers from bad cameras and sometimes muddled gameplay, but it is still a nice brawling game... that really needs to be played online if you want to enjoy it.- Gameblog.fr

Hard to recommend a game that never makes an effort to put the player in good condition to enjoy it. What he proposes in terms of graphics, gameplay, playability or A.I. is not enough even for someone who is burning to play as a farmer.- Gameblog.fr

PlayStation Move Heroes is one of those games that try to follow in the Wii party-games footsteps... not successfully. Movement recognition is quite effective here, but the gameplay really lacks fun. The illustrious heroes who were trapped in this deserve better.- Gameblog.fr

With A Game of Thrones Genesis, Cyanide tackles too large a task for its own means, so disappointment ensues. Despite that, it's still the perfect licence to introduce fresh and new boardgames mechanics, and that helps to make it a nice multiplayer experience. But it still suffers from poor production values, ugly graphics, a lack of ambition, and unclear or insufficient visual cues as to what exactly is happening.- Gameblog.fr

Splinter Cell 3D is a real disappointment on the Nintendo 3DS. Ugly, clumsy, far from being easy to handle and despite that without any sort of challenge, the Ubisoft title has but one quality remaining: being the first stealth-themed title on the 3DS. Is that enough to disregard its defects? Definitely not.- Gameblog.fr

Speedball 2 HD is another HD remake of an old classic... but we don't have that kind of violent sport game these days, so it's kind of fresh and really nice to play. Forget it if you're a solo player, though.- Gameblog.fr

If we could ignore a distressing technique, the emptiness of Natural Doctrine and its amateur appearance almost make it impossible to recommend to anyone. Even lovers of the genre, T-RPG.- Gameblog.fr
