Turok 2: Seeds of Evil returns, two decades after the original release, in what is an overall improved experience that leaves behind hardware limits but respects the original's elements and design. Investing in new controls is also something to praise but it's impossible not to notice that the game's concept feels outdated and that beyond the public of the original, it might be difficult to convince anyone else to put their hands on this version.- FNintendo

Riverbond brings a fun experience that mostly shines on its co-op component. The game sticks too much to the series' formula, which means that it pales next to other similar titles available on the 3DS. While it has its punctual moments of fun, many of the minigames are bland and not deep enough for players looking for something more compelling. This is a game addressed only to those who know exactly what they're coming for.- FNintendo

The Inner World is a relaxing and well-crafted point & click game which, despite its lack of a touch screen control system, will certainly be enjoyed by most players thanks to its challenging puzzles, art style, voice acting and overall environment. Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 brings the remaining four games of the Mega Man X series under one collection and the new game modes and extras are sure to please the fans of the series. However it's also wroth mentioning that the latter four titles carrying the Mega Man X name also mark the series' quality descent and that this collection only allows one save option per game.- FNintendo

Warriors Orochi 4 is ambitious and it's directed at fans of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. This is where Warriors Orochi 4 stands out the most, as it gives fans an enjoyable and competent gameplay and an immense amount of content to explore. Pity for the visual disappointment, as the game is not living up to its full potential on the Nintendo Switch and it's also not very beginner-friendly, as it can put off those who do not follow the series.- FNintendo

While boasting an overall good presentation and pace of gameplay, The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths ends up becoming too repetitive despite its compelling beginning. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a turn-based strategy game based on the Netflix series which followed up on Jim Henson's 1982 movie and with that said, this is a game that may not reinvent the genre but what it does, does it very well. The new Chibi-Robo chapter is certainly not a triumphant return to its previous titles but that doesn’t mean Zip Lash does not have its charms. Mario Party: The Top 100 is a blessing and a disappointment at the same time. Despite its name, Surgeon Simulator CPR is not a serious simulation at all - it's rather a fun and chaotic game full of humour where the players will perform hilarious surgeries that require a careful learning of the Nintendo Switch motion controls. Yet another zombie title in a saturated market segment, How To Survive needs to learn what it title says. While it lures players in a fun way, the game quickly falls into a succession of unchallenging and repetitive assignments. The lack of an online cooperative mode only aggravates the case and its overall lifespan is too short for even the most enthusiastic zombie fans.- FNintendo

Cube Life: Island Survival fills a gap in the Wii U's catalogue and that is something to praise. At the same time, the games's own shortcomings and flaws make other gaps which, according to producers Cypronia, will be corrected soon. This is absolutely necessary, since Cube Life, as it is, does not go far enough to become a significant title in the Wii U's library.- FNintendo

Othello for Nintendo Switch is a digital version of the long-running board game also known as Reversi and is entirely faithful to the original, in the sense that it is simple to learn and perfectly enjoyable for short gaming sessions. While technically competent and without any execution problems, it lacks a sorely needed online multiplayer component, without which its selling price seems way too high for a game that can be easily and legally found for free elsewhere.- FNintendo

Monster Combine TD could have easily built on its plot and gameplay but its slow progression (especially in its early stages) and translation flaws turn it into an average title which does not stand out in any field, even if it does not completely fail on any aspect either.- FNintendo

Adventure Labyrinth Story is a competent dungeon crawler with a simple combat system and a healthy variety of enemies. However its overtly simple narrative, linear goals and overall subpar visual environments make this a game that doesn't stand out among its peers, even if it's competent enough when putting the player in randomly generated mazes.- FNintendo

Unlucky Mage is simple enough to allow for an intuitive gameplay and a rather long lasting lifespan but it doesn't fulfill its job completely and its overall simple nature end up harming the game in the end.- FNintendo

Bit Dungeon+ brings dungeon crawling and roguelike elements to the Nintendo Switch along with a nostalgic art style and some fun combat moments. Unfortunately the game quickly feels like it's too simplistic. Adding to that, its skills system is quite difficult to understand and frequent glitches and a soundtrack that is unremarkable, at best, make Bit Dungeon an effort that is overall difficult to appreciate.- FNintendo

Thanks to its art style and original gameplay mechanics, Shadow Fight 2 has assets that allow it to stand out amidst its competitors, even if its audio component and story mode are disappointing.- FNintendo

The game's art style stands out but it can actually interfere with the gameplay, the difficulty quickly becomes frustrating and the game's short experience add up to a work that will not leave players fully satisfied with this choice, especially fans of the fly'em up style.- FNintendo

Slender: The Arrival makes its Nintendo Switch debut six years after the original release and the result is a mixed bag: its sound atmosphere is still as breathtaking as it was and does an excellent job at keeping players on their toes; visually speaking, the game is showing its age. Overall the game's short lifespan, repetitiveness and generic plot mean this experience is rather average and doesn't fully stand out.- FNintendo

Dead End Job is a twin-stick shooter which may strike a chord with a small group of enthusiasts, partly for its simple and fun combat mechanics, but unfortunately the game features way too much repetitive and dull action. Other than that, some of the items are real surprise boxes and the auto-aim feature can make everything more frustrating, which all contribute to make this a difficult game to truly enjoy.- FNintendo

If the Warhammer universe is well represented, a weak performance, unbalanced combat system, random tactical component that discards any strategic ambitions and the game's impractical requirements, which demand a permanent internet connection, make the handheld experience near impossible to enjoy and something very difficult to recommend.- FNintendo

Shadows 2: Perfidia tries to create an atmosphere of horror but the result is only a half-success: if the soundscape does a good job, the visual landscape is far from that and it turns out to be uglier than it is scary. It's not a remarkable feast of gameplay either, very simplistic but with a well implemented sanity mechanic. Shadows 2: Perfidia is not something that will raise the hair on everyone's neck but for those who are interested in a decent work of a horror-themed audio environment and a good use of a sanity mechanic, it can be a fun purchase.- FNintendo

Sadame is an interesting and well-built action game with RPG elements that offers a long and very replayable experience to those willing to dwell deep into it. It's not the most self-explanatory work in this regard, though, as many details will be lost on a Western audience and often the player is left with little explanation of the game's mechanics.- FNintendo

If it does a good job at delivering a credible MSX experience, Bitlogic also falls behind when it comes to its low ambition, a concept that will hardly catch the attention of most players and a short longevity. While it's a good option for those who want to (re)live the days of the MSX, it's not a game made for a wider audience.- FNintendo

Thanks to its extremely direct control system, anyone can pick it up and play it. The problem is, the game is too simple for its own good and quickly enough, it becomes too repetitive, forcing the players to manage their time more wisely lest they end up getting tired of it.- FNintendo

FullBlast is a 2D shoot'em up that treads along some of the traditional clichés of the genre without taking any risks to go further or to stand above its peers. Similar enemy patterns, repetitive behaviour, plain visuals, FullBlast can deliver a fluid gameplay experience but not a varied, original one, with a small redemption coming from its local multiplayer element.- FNintendo

As a remake of a game that did not leave its mark, Putty Squad does not stand out. Its glitches and flaws, which include a serious lack of fluidity in some areas, make it a less-than-enjoyable platformer, which should only be considered by those who truly wish to try every title in the genre.- FNintendo

Tangram Style has no ambition and it shows. An overall dull and technically flawed experience, which will wear out the players’ patience and which does not in any way maximize the game’s potential lifespan derived from its very high number of puzzles, Tangram Style is only to be considered by those specifically looking for something like this.- FNintendo

Blocky Bot does what it proposes – it’s a simple, quick and down-to-Earth platformer whose gameplay is immediately grasped on by the player. It does its job at providing fun sessions of platforming action but once its levels have been cleared, there aren’t many more reasons to pick it up again.- FNintendo
