    It offers a lot of content and will be enjoyed by anyone who has a love for classic platform games, but there are rough edges which should have been dealt with before release.

    As a remake of a game that did not leave its mark, Putty Squad does not stand out. Its glitches and flaws, which include a serious lack of fluidity in some areas, make it a less-than-enjoyable platformer, which should only be considered by those who truly wish to try every title in the genre.

    There's nothing overtly wrong with it, but the 2D platformer isn't exactly one that is underserviced on the 3DS, and it's hard to see value in buying this game over some of the other options out there.
