    Monster Combine TD isn’t totally polished or totally original but it bears the markings of an eShop sleeper hit. If you’re in the mood for portable tower defence action with a comedic twist, Collavier has you covered.

    Monster Combine TD is an interesting take on the tower defence genre, building off of the gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies, but the inherent flaws in some of its gameplay aspects will quickly come to light and put a damper on the experience.

    Monster Combine TD could have easily built on its plot and gameplay but its slow progression (especially in its early stages) and translation flaws turn it into an average title which does not stand out in any field, even if it does not completely fail on any aspect either.

    The ideas were interesting, but gameplay and graphics wise, you'll find much better tower defense experiences out there.
