The Tarnishing of Juxtia is not a title that shines for originality, especially in what is a scene already full of soulslike and products ready to mimic its main features. Yet in its proposing already known but not trivial gameplay mechanics, it offers a playful experience that manages to entertain, thanks to very exciting boss fights and an effective artistic direction. In short, if you want to experience a journey full of arduous and exciting challenges, you should take it into consideration.- Everyeye.it

Fragments of Him deals with a complex theme, not so easily represented in videogames: death. During the two-hour long path that leads the player to the end, the Sassybot team ask us to reflect on the sense and the consequences of the loss, but also on the value of objects and memories. Whether or not Fragments of Him was able to reach its goal may be subjective, but the game and the concept are still admirable.- Everyeye.it

By introducing an exploration component and significantly larger maps, the team at Marvelous attempted to renew and expand the gameplay of DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion, but the implementation wasn't entirely successful. The extremely repetitive and schematic nature of the secondary activities doesn't justify the presence of such an expansive world, which, among other things, negatively impacted loading times and the game's stability. The frenetic combat system and deep level of customization remain DAEMON X MACHINA's most lethal weapons, as well as the valid reasons why fans of the genre might love it despite its flaws.- Everyeye.it

New Tales from the Borderlands has amused us, excited us, even moved us at times (rarely eh, don't think you will get depressed!). To say that he never takes himself seriously would be a mistake, given that behind a shattered facade and at times jester characters in constant, deliberate and theatrical over acting hides an evidently remarkable study. The final result, whether in the form of direct narration, multiple choice questions, QTE or other is not always perfect but in general we are facing a more than successful revival of the expansive operation for the Borderlands universe that has begun. with the first Tales from, full of well-distributed quotes that will make RPG fans and enthusiasts very happy.- Everyeye.it

There's a scene, during a flashback in the game, in which Carole invites Lana to literally close one eye and observe her surroundings from a different perspective. "When things don't seem the way we want them to," she tells her, "try to see them from another angle." I decided to do the same with Bye Sweet Carole when I encountered gameplay and stylistic roughness, perhaps the result of a strong desire to do things and an unbalanced sense of proportion. Carole's advice was helpful. Because Little Sewing Machine's work is a small visual and aural delight, a courageous display of skill that manages to transcend its uncertainties. The rating below represents the other angle I chose to see, where the flaws outweigh the merits. Because I believe it's worth letting yourself be transported into this world of "pitch, ash, and coal."- Everyeye.it

NBA 2K24 is one of those titles that is difficult to judge and above all to assign a numerical value that can balance its great gaming achievements and disappointing greed. On the one hand there is in fact one of the most beautiful basketball simulations ever made, on the other an online sector that in no way hides the excessive importance of microtransactions. Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse proves to be too conservative, characterized by slow and anachronistic game rhythms. It is true, in any case, that structural changes could not be expected from a purely aesthetic remastering. Football Manager 26 marks the beginning of a new era. Unity brings with it a breath of fresh air, but that step forward has led to two steps back: the UI is dispersive, almost unbelievable in its capriciousness. In a management game where control is everything and analysis is also crucial, appearing with such cluttered screens is problematic. We're already in 2027, with all our tactics and strategies to create a winning streak that would make Xabi Alonso and Pep Guardiola shudder, but it's clear that there are many improvements we expect for next year. Football Manager 26 is still a solid product, but after a year off, we were hoping for a fresher, more refined game.- Everyeye.it

Unfortunately, Serial Cleaners is not as striking as its predecessor: the adventures of Mr. Bob and his company of Cleaners attract the player more with a deep story and narrative branches to discover, all with a pleasant jazz accompaniment and a peculiar aesthetic rendering but from the fluctuating effectiveness. The simple and arcade gameplay is ideal for those who want to approach stealth and better frame the genre, and it is satisfying overall. Artificial intelligence is the Achilles' heel of the entire experience and its shortcomings have not allowed the potential of the playful offer to be fully expressed. There are several aspects of Mato Anomalies that don't work as we would have liked. As interesting and engaging as it is, the narrative scaffolding is in fact slowed down by the presence of verbose dialogues (moreover not dubbed) in the visual novel style, while the play system does not offer particularly original solutions. While moving beyond an artistic inspiration that clearly nods (and maybe even a couple of nods) to Cuphead, Acecraft doesn't break the boundaries of its free-to-play shoot-'em-up nature. The gameplay is simple and extremely intuitive, but it's also slow and lacks much depth or intriguing solutions, while the confusing progression system lives in the shadow of classic gacha progression: without real money, Acecraft feels diluted and uninspiring, but at least it's possible to play for long sessions without having to endure the usual ads that plague mobile titles.- Everyeye.it

Artistically valuable and capable of providing an intriguing additional perspective to the story of Far Cry 4, Control is a DLC that does not add or subtract from the playful experience of the first content of the Season Pass. This is why the qualitative degree of the two add-ons is in our opinion totally overlapping, with an upward or downward decline depending on your preferences for Vaas or Pagan Min. Given the groove taken by Ubisoft, in short, it is likely that the DLC dedicated to Joseph Seed can settle on the same standards: we will find out during our next journey into the madness of the villains of Far Cry.- Everyeye.it

Giving up the winning features boasted by licensed musou launched between 2020 and 2021, Touken Ranbu Warriors was lacking in every respect. The reduced longevity of the bone, the absence of secondary modes and mechanics capable of differentiating the offer to a minimum, without forgetting a non-existent level of difficulty, make it a product that is absolutely not up to the current Omega Force standards.
