    Overall this is a game that should not be passed up simply because you have already put in so many hours on another game. Rather it should be experienced for what it is and all other developers looking to dip a toe in the MMO pool should take note that this is how to breathe life into an otherwise stagnant and overcrowded free-to play market.

    You know those lists with pros and cons that help you make important decisions? In the case of Blade & Soul the beautiful graphics and exciting PvP, and the fact that the game is free to play, would be on the plus side. The negative side is mostly filled by the somewhat uninspired quests and dungeons. Fortunately Blade & Soul has an advantage which helps fill the list in favor of a beautiful score: The unique combat.

    I have been playing since launch. very good game. feels very dynamic and good.

    Interesting game THAT is supposed to be an MMO .. interesting story THOUGH there is only one storyline as is want in all theme park MMOs ..Interesting game THAT is supposed to be an MMO .. interesting story THOUGH there is only one storyline as is want in all theme park MMOs .. BUT much of the game is PvP with there being NO deviance in their PvP arenas for levels even though as of yesterday at 45th level they get their POWER skills and the game has 30th to 43rd level players being wrecked in ALL PvP as they just don't stand a chance (though the PvP quests open up to players at 30th level) .. The lag on these servers are also insane with huge spikes for many players.. Don't bother playing it is just futility and the high cost of in game items seems to be saying that NSSoft knows the game won't last and they want their money out of it yesterday… Expand

    First off, the game paces so boringly that its even hard to pay attention to the already awful voice acting and story, the graphics look like I just sprayed pledge on some bald guy's head and it has that ridiculous unreal engine 3 slow rendering problem.

    Trying to even log on if you play it for free is next to impossible not that is a bad thing cause why anyone would want to play this hot garbage is beyond me.

    The combat is cool and I can see it being fun in the end game but to even get that far is like trying to eat 10lbs of mcdonalds and then going to run in the boston marathon.

    Bottom line, this game sucks and you can find other MMOs worthy of your time.    … Expand

    Poor optimzation of the game causes horrible framerates, and all servers being in texas cause horrible ping for people in canada and those farther away from the server location. Developers need to focus on optimizing the game for newer hardware rather then pumping out content.

    Update: I have since tried to comeback and give BNS a shot again and the game causes BSOD (Critical Process Died) if you can get this game to run good luck but NCsoft support is beyond trash don't bother putting in a ticket to try to get them to solve your issue as your just waisting your time.    … Expand
