Exo One is at the same time more and less than an actual video-game. It's an out-of-body experience that brings the player across the stars for a couple hours, depycting the closest image to actual meditation we have ever seen.

Testo: Mithology and videogame, a strange but intriguing combination for an opera which manages to tell a series of forgotten myths in an engaging and inspired way. The gameplay might seem too simplistic but overall The Mooseman is an extremely fascinating experience.

The Long Dark is a masterful survival game that manages to craft a rich and emotional experience but lacks in providing objectives and narrative hooks to keep the game interesting and meaningful.

Another captivating RPG by Joe Madureira and friends, this time in the League of Legends realm. Gorgeous and demanding, Ruined King needs just a little bit of tuning to become an unmissable one.

Simple, intuitive and, most of all, fun: three adjectives that perfectly describe Scott Pilgrim's gaming experience. Thanks to a wonderful retro visual style and an extremely accessible gameplay, this "old school" scrolling beat'em up proves to be one of the best arcade games out there. Don't miss out, especially if you have a few friends to share the experience with.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister does a good job on presenting a very accurate version of the tabletop version of Dungeons and Dragons in an original setting. A couple of issues here and there won't affect your experience.

Quantum Break is a visually impressive game with an interesting story and huge production values. Its gameplay lacks something, but this is still an experience which every Xbox One owner should enjoy.

World of Final Fantasy is a great turn-based JRPG that everyone who grew up in the nineties will love.

Visually striking and filled with a lot of interesting lore bits, Blasphemous is a competent action/platform with a pinch of souls-like and metroidvania mechanics. A brutal and well executed adventure with some flaws gameplaywise and a quality level with several ups and downs.

Old school hack 'n slash lovers, get ready, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 is a game made exactly for you. Lots of action, profound skill system and a good story makes this Neocore Games production perfect for any fan of the genre. Technically there's a lot of room for improvement, but the game content seems right given the price point.

Clever design, brilliant gameplay, well-balanced difficulty and unique visual style: Teslagrad is an excellent action-platformer that fans of the genre shouldn't miss.

The final impression is quite positive, prizing an offer that is able to take its place in the adventures' market and not only for the brand itself. Guybrus & Co. are just more great stuff on a great game anyway.

Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 leads the story to the point Kishimoto's cartoon arrived, adding small tweaks here and there and innovations to the technical side. The spectacular nature of the clashes is increasingly taken to extremes. Too bad for a little choice of brand new playable characters.

Supreme Commander 2 is a hybrid between Total Annihilation and the first Supreme Commander: it has the accessibility of the former and the immensity of the latter. Probably the best “classic” RTS until today, though it has nothing special to grant it a long future.

If you’re looking for an intense and addictive puzzle game for your PS Vita, Surge Deluxe will blow your fingers with an interesting and fun gameplay.

Omno is a mystical journey along a dreamy world, in search of light and truth. Very short but sweet.

ARMS is the first big Nintendo exclusive for Switch and perfectly showcases the so called 'Nintendo difference'. It’s a fighting game with a twist, with punches that twist and curly characters (who, also, twist): it’s a fun, layered experience which will appeal to core gamers out there, but give it a try even if you’re usually not into the genre.

Spec Ops: The Line tries to offer new ways to play third person shooters. It's a more adult attempt to reach player's feelings but sometimes it fails in mantaining the tone of the production. Yager's game also lacks a strong multiplayer experience, without which it can't be a must buy.

Ubisoft has a less-than-stellar record with portings of its AAA games and Watch Dogs is no exception.

Darksiders Genesis have a change of style but the pace and the coremechanics are still great and enjoyable. The game looks and sounds amazing. Frenetic combat for single and co-op.

With Magic Duels: Origins, Wizards of the Coast tries a new beginning for the digital series, managing to build a solid game that will probably satisfy most players’ needs. That said it’s too early to praise unconditionally, as future updates will be vital for the health of the game.

Sanctum 2 is a good blending of two very different genres. Just keep in mind that you need a great passion for challenges and strategy to enjoy it at its fullest.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a revamped and remastered version of a brilliant game released over a decade ago. Despite the simple 3-button setup, the battle system is surprisingly deep. This game is easy to access but hard to master. Every fighter has his unique fighting style and everyone can find is perfect fitting. SEGA obviously wants to push the online experience since offline modes are very limited. Expect regular free updates for netcode and new contents in the next months.

Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype is certainly a well-packed shooter. The mix of old-school gameplay and terrific HD graphics are again a good choice. Easier than its prequel (and that's ok), it seriously lacks in longevity.

Codemasters has succeeded in the difficult task to bring back to life a famous IP, looking forward to a multiplatform future, which has just started. If you are among those people from the 'old school', feel free to add half point to the final mark. If you aren't, and are looking for an easy game, just do the opposite and look for another game.

Magic 2014 Duels of Planeswalkers is a solid and intriguing version of the renowned card game. Wizards of the Coast still limits the experience to bring people to their shops: will they resist next year with Scrolls, World of Warcraft: Heartstone, HEX e Might & Magic: Duel of Champions coming?

Although it's clear that it doesn't express its full potential, Dead Nation proves to be a well crafted product that will probably appeal to both fans of the genre and potential newcomers.

Transformers Devastation is a surprising third person/action game from Platinum Games, with a fun gameplay mechanics and great graphics. The main story is only 5 or 6 hours long, but there’s plenty to discover and collect through the game and the 50 challenges.

Fun aerial combats and many dogfights packed with adrenaline. But we would have expected more from a PC title under a technical perspective.

Lost Horizon is the final stage in the development of adventure games; it's not an original game but it gives a realistic sense of wonder, recalling Indiana Jones and his adventures.

The European version of Rocksmith is much better than the American one, due to a bunch of useful changes. The new balance of the automatic difficulty level is better than the original and the good practice mode is a nice touch. Few technical problems are still there, but the product is still pretty impressive.

L.A. Noire is not the best choice for a HD remaster, but it’s still a charming and intriguing experience.

This RTS game is very challenging to master and will need a lot of time for you to be crafty with the different skills, manoeuvres and tactics. Not a game for everyone though. A must try for all Warhammer 40k fans.

AVGN Adventures is a great platform, hard to play but funny, designed for the fans of the show and for those who love real challenges in videogames.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a solid experience with a standard approach to the genre. The main problem is that Infinity Ward hasn't found a way to make the game remarkable.

Soul Sacrifice is a solid project with a great design and an interesting gameplay. Both single player and multiplayer are fun and addictive. After Persona 4 Golden this is the game you will play the most on your PS Vita.

Smaller but first of all different, XCOM: Chimera Squad is clearly an interlude in anticipation of the big, epic XCOM 3. Especially at this price point. It is definitely an interlude that new and old fans should not miss.

Despite all the the good premises, this last game from Tim Schafer proves to be a small project with short and repetitive gameplay.

Although Football Manager Handheld 2011 doesn't introduce any significant innovation, Sports Interactive has managed to create an excellent alternative to the PC version.

The iOS version of Microsoft puppies island is a very funny pastime, probably more suitable for kids or very young players rather than hardcore ones. Nevertheless, from a technical viewpoint Frontier IP offers very good graphics, an immediate gameplay and, last but not least, an excellent control-system.

Blend a setting which reminds True Detective with the atmospheres of Twin Peaks and the results will be Kathy Rain, a well-written and intriguing point-and-click adventure that proves the incredible talent of Joel Staaf Hästö, the solo developer of Clifftop Games.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit returns in better shape than ever, rewarding the excellent job done by Stellar Entertainment.

MotoGP 21 is the incarnation of the “less is more” creative philosophy. Milestone decided to direct every effort towards the race, improving the physics and the driving systems, making good use of every next-gen feature, including a brilliant PS5's DualSense implementation. This, however, gave birth to a very minimalistic and detailed experience, something that will surely appeal hardcore fans but might result redundant in the hands of more casual players.

If you like tennis games and can't get enough of Virtua-goodness, maybe this will be one of your Vita's launch titles, but if you've already played the PS3/X360 versions, there's not enough (new) meat here to sink your teeth into.

Double Helix has done a good job with the brand new Strider, turning a pure arcade game into an honest Metroidvania. The lack of colours and a plain rhythm are the main issues of this Capcom game.

Ten years on his shoulders and Ys Origin is still one of the most enjoyable action-RPG ever made.

The Gunstringer is a cool game with all the crazy madness typical of the Twisted Pixel's productions. It works quite good for a Kinect game and offers a decent amount of fun. Despite the great number of extra, anyway, the overall experience is quite short.

Although there are some improvements, PES 2012 doesn't innovate as much as fans were expecting, proving that Konami doesn't currently have what it takes to win the match with EA Sports. The game, anyway, is fun to play and represents a good alternative to FIFA 12.

GreyGoo is a classic RTS game, solid enough to capture its audience. If you like the genre it’s a must have.

The Adventures of Shuggy is one of the best XBLA games of the year and a pleasant surprise for fans of "Braid-and-Winterbottom-esque" gameplay titles.

An ode to the strategy genre and a tribute to UFO: Enemy Unknown, Xenonauts takes all the best characteristic from his spiritual father and makes some little and very much welcome changes.

In this Ubisoft launch title for the Wii U, some very good ideas are sadly spoiled by poor action and an average technical execution. ZombiU is still worth a try though, if you really are into the Survival Horror genre.

Hero Academy offers a new concept of multiplayer gaming on iOS devices: an asynchronous system using push notification, suitable for quick session you can resume whenever you want, even the following day. Robot Entertainment's IP is funny and immediate, suitable for all player – even the less skilled with RTS. But be careful: playing without a strategy against a human opponent could be an authentic suicide.

Battlefield fans will surely appreciate the "operation nostalgia" set up by DICE, but the admission ticket is too hefty.

Battle Academy 2 is a very focused wargame; perfect for anyone willing to strategize without spending hours going through text walls in a manual. The graphical quality could be off-putting, but mechanics and gameplay are top-notch and perfectly sound.

Another enjoyable but greatly perfectible new entry in the Toukiden series. If you liked Kiwami, this is the “more of the same” you're waiting for.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories is a competent, yet a bit repetitive, twin stick shooter with a good atmosphere, some depth and a very interesting pixel art take on the genre. Fans of the genre and the theme should take an interest here.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is a new beginning for this franchise. After years of casual tracklists without any sign of the good, old, rock, Guitar Hero is once again funny and addictive. Play it and love it.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is the best golf game on consoles but is far from being perfect, with few additions to the formula that introduce new problems. The game needs a deep reboot to shine again!

Remothered: tormented fathers is a great stealth-horror game, in which every step could be the last one. During all the adventure you will feel the breath of the death on your neck, but runnig away is definitely the best way to embrace the darkness. Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption is the most interesting DLC of those proposed to date. Although it requires the usual 7-8 hours for 100% completition, thanks to an all new cast it manages to offer a little more. Smooth storyline, interesting atmosphere and endless weapons, all with a comic touch in pure Borderlands style.

Considering the quality of its base concept and the welcome innovations that shift the fulcrum of the game to a more action oriented experience, The Sims: Medieval proves to be a well crafted spin-off that could actually represent the first step towards the long-awaited evolution of the series.

With its fun and entertaining PvE and PvP, TERA proves to be a title with great potential. If you are bored with what you are playing now, we suggest you to give it a try.
