Armored Kill is a great DLC embedded with all the Battlefield charm. The console version of this expansion pack, anyway, is ruined by the lack of the true 64 players multiplayer mode, nerfed into less impressive 24 player battles. The huge maps of Armored Kill are simply too big for such a slim number of players.

The Brotherhood (Chris and Nic Bischoff) pays tribute to the horror sci-fi genre with a smart and thrilling point-and-click adventure. Thanks to a well written story and a bunch of inspired puzzles, STASIS is an experience that everyone must try.

For The King is a very creative take on the Boardgame and RPG genres with a great focus on multiplayer. The single player mode is more an afterthought than anything else, depriving For The King of much of its allure.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is the definitive edition of the great 2010 tie-in. It is an excellent 2D beat 'em up that pays homage to the great classics of the genre and that can give players dozens of hours of fun both alone and with friends.

The latter episode of such a lucky brand is the best one for PC too: the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" philosophy here is at its best, but Worms Reloaded is damn funny anyway.

A good action game with some really inspired moments. The campaign now is less open-world but better-crafted. The greatest and biggest loss in this game is the co-op mode, but the multiplayer is still very addictive, especially now with all the unlockables.

Pokkén Tournament DX is an enhanced version of the Wii U’s version released last year. It adds to the mix brand new fighters, new modes, daily challenges and other stuffs, but the real game changer is the ability to play the game everywhere with your friends thanks to the hybrid nature of the platform. Give a Joy-con to your friend, and you can fight on the bus, on the plane, at the park, and so on. Graphics are a bit refined, and the frame-rate is 60fps rock-solid this time. If you skipped the Wii U version, you can’t miss this game this time around.

WipEout 2048 is the best racing game in the PS Vita's launch line-up. The lack of 60 fps is a shame, since this game is mainly focused on speed and smoothness. This and the very long loading times are the main issues of a really good game.

Despite the influence of mythical figures such as System Shock and BioShock, Prey is a fresh and unique take on the first person adventure genre. Arkane Studios managed to design a game with an engaging plot and a great blend of several game mechanics which provide an incredibly deep experience whatever play style you prefer.

Considering its price, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero proves to be an absolute must buy for both fans and potential newcomers to the horrific franchise developed by Capcom. The fast paced experience is in fact a great starter for anyone willing to buy the upcoming DR2.

Until Dawn is a good game, with a number of issues which can prevent people from liking the overall experience. The game is quite similar to Beyond and Heavy Rain but with a very different plot. If you like both of these kinds of adventures and the horror movies, you'll find in Until Dawn a very good deal.

After more than 20 years the Pokémon Snap's formula hasn't aged so well, but a bunch of new features keeps it quite fresh despite its repetitive gameplay.

Ron Gilbert delivers another sweet piece of art. Hilarious and technically fantastic, Deathspank fails to become another classic just because of its repetitive gameplay and quests design.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is not that evolution everybody was waiting for. The new characters are interesting and funny, but the level design looks like they’re not part of the overall experience. The gorgeous editor is still there, and it’s (again) the best part of the experience.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier seems to suffer the CoD syndrome. In the main Campaign most of the events are clones of various situations already played with the Modern Warfare trilogy. The good multiplayer experience, anyway, is fair enough to grant a good amount of fun, both with friends or against perfect strangers.

The Unfinished Swan is one of the best titles available for PS3, with its minimalistic graphics and its sublime soundtrack. Do we have finally a good reason to buy a Move controller? Yes, indeed!

Everything let us think that Square Enix took care of the project at the best, showing all the skills of its internal team. Our hope is that any other spin-off will follow the path Dissidia traced.

Somewhere in the middle between a regular Pokémon episode and an entry-level spin-off, Pokémon Let’s Go manages to entertain both the seasoned player and the newcomer. It’s easy, OK, but not less fun, and returning to Kanto is a treat.

Evil Genius 2 World Domination is a fun and satisfying experience, a very accessible and ironic management title.

Dead Rising 2 softens some sharp edges of the first chapter and introduces a fistful of new ideas. Despite some technical issues, this is a very good sequel for a very good series... good work Blue Castle!

Star Glow is a good SRPG, that has no major flaws, but does not offer anything really new. Still recommended to lovers of the genre and neophytes.

Knights and Bikes is a co-op-focused action adventure with the core of a classic. The level design is smart and accessible to everyone, and the overall execution is just wonderful. The King of Fighters XV is a deep and articulated fighting game that requires time and dedication to be mastered but that can provide great satisfaction. The roster is rich and varied and the technical sector is rather pleasant: we are facing one of the best exponents of the genre currently available on the market.

Missing this game for just 14.90 Euro's would be like not robbing a stagecoach pulled by a pair of ill horses.

Catherine is an awesome game, an incredible cocktail of different kind of elements. Puzzle, adventure and dating simulator, this great experience from Atlus should be owned, or tried at least, by every single player out there.

Drive: San Francisco is a nice game with many interesting ideas. The Shift mechanics are good enough to offer a great experience, though they transform even the harder mission in something too easy for a skilled player. The massive multiplayer experience can offer many hours of genuine fun, online or simply on the same console with split-screen.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a generous package full of nostalgia, Thirteen games from the Arcade, 8-16 bit and Game Boy eras and tons of gaming options, cheats and extras.

Metal Hellsinger is a rhythmic FPS that has its roots in the typical imagery of heavy metal to offer players an adrenaline-pumping, fun and exciting experience. The soundtrack, composed by internationally renowned metal artists is the spearhead of the package and will remain stuck under your skin for weeks after playing the game.

The Big Adventure starts slowly, very slowly. Then, from nowhere, it starts going completely crazy, bringing together art, music and challenge, building a perfect experience for its target audience.

One of the best LEGO games and surely the best Harry Potter game of all time. Another little gem from Traveller's Tales, that every fan should play.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Nintendo Switch is a lazy and disappointing porting of a great collection.

Riders Republic is the game designed for all lovers of extreme sports, orphans of a product capable of satisfying their desire for adrenaline. The new Ubisoft title, net of some technical problems, is the new meeting place for fans of tricks and thrilling races.

A mix between a great football experience and a collection of cheap game modes, PES 2019 doesn't succeed the keep the same pace of its rival.

Almost ten years have passed, but Resident Evil 4 is still one of the most compelling, thrilling and genuinely scary titles of all time. This HD rendition doesn't do miracles graphics wise, and isn't 100% free from small technical issues and hiccups either, but it is definitely worth the price tag for both hardcore fans of the series and for newcomers.

Although its lacks of significant innovations, Miniland Mayhem proves to be an excellent product that will surely guarantee hours of fun to anyone willing to test his skills with a challenging and addictive puzzle/platform adventure.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the perfect way to enjoy Naruto's ending. CyberConnect2 has done an amazing job with both the Story Mode and the combat system, creating a fun and entertaining experience. Most of the story isn't in the game, though, and that's really bad. We'd love to play all of Naruto's tale in this gorgeous way.

FIFA 20 offers an impressive number of modes and introduce the awaited Volta Football, but the gameplay is too tied to individual situations of attack and defense and loses a bit of fun.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is an ode to the past of videogames and to the past of wrestling, but just a small number of players will love it. Japanese wrestling is not so popular in the west, and the gameplay of Wrestling World is enjoyable only if you are into retrogaming.

King Arthur is a good alternative to Total War games: well structured, it includes some interesting ideas as heroes and their quests, or the dynamic seasons. Despite its non optimally balanced troops and the lack of multiplayer campaign, the quality of King Arthur and its low price will surely prove to be attractive.

TOEM perfectly represents the beauty of the journey rather than reaching the destination. A relaxing and enjoyable experience armed with a camera.

Although it could have been much better than it actually is, Final Fantasy XIII-2 proves to be a well-crafted product that compensates for gamers' disappointment over Final Fantasy XIII.

OlliOlli is another great indie title for the PlayStation Vita. Even if controls are quite hard to master, the slick gameplay and the great soundtrack make this new production from Roll7 a must-have for every Vita owner.

Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth Rising Tide isn't a perfect piece of software, but adds some great feature in the vanilla game. The diplomacy system could be in the future the standard for 4x genre, but it needs some more tweaks. But you can't play Beyond Earth without Rising Tide.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is a traditional RPG with a great technical value. The graphic is sharp and the soundtrack is perfect for every kind of situation on the screen. The lack of new ideas, anyway, is quite a problem for everyone who is looking for new emotions.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a powerful game with an intense story and an old-style, classy and traditional gameplay. Despite some glitches and a poor A.I. the game is worth your money.

Although, visually, it still fails to reach standards of pure excellence, Dragon Age 2 proves to be a fantastic fantasy-RPG that will undoubtedly satisfy both fans of the genre and potential newcomers.

Resident Evil 3 is a well-made remake of one of the most loved chapters of the famous Capcom series. The Overwhelming presence of the Tyrant Nemesis is an added value but the game suffers from a slight lack of content.

Little Inferno is a little jewel of philosophy and a great example of a different way of thinking a game. The experience lacks of any kind of difficulty, but the game is still able to enjoy, stealing your time. A lot of it.

A solid arcade-racing game that delivers hours of fun with a well appreciated gameplay. The lack of bikes (only 12) is not necessarily a con due the great amount of events available in game. Buy it if you love DRIVECLUB or you’re looking for a good, racing game with bikes.

Despite some limitations, Doom is back once again: Bloody, intense, brutal, fast-paced... and now also portable.

Necromoprhs, alien monsters, blood and tons of corpse. Extraction is 100% Dead Space, with a deep gameplay, powerful plot and great graphics. A perfect porting, with a perfect control schema: probably, the best usage of PS Move seen so far.

Crema's ambitious MMO has clear ideas and manages to engage without too much difficulty.

This game surprises for its simplicity and, at the same time, for the complexity of some of its game mechanics. Nobody Saves The World is always fun, with nice characters and never boring fights (even if monsters are quite repetitive).

Pigsy Perfect 10 delivers a different type of gameplay, more stealth/tactical oriented, but it's just another juicy slice of the delicious cake named Enslaved.

The King of Fighters XIV is a complete game. That should be enough, considering how Capcom is trolling Street Fighter's fans with Street Fighter V. Despite the bad graphics, KoFXIV has amazing gameplay, is fun and can be enjoyed by both casual and pro players.

Although EA hasn't surely revolutionized the game's core concept, The Sims 3: Pets proves to be an engaging and fun expansion that will surely entertain any fan of the franchise.

Pac-Man 256 takes the original mechanics adding something new to the series, never seen before. You will run through an endless maze, trying to escape from the assault of the Glitch. To make your way across the ghosts, there are 20 upgradable weapons to collect. It may look a simple game, but it hides a surprising depth, and it is really fun to play. Multiplayer co-op is really a blast, but the lack of online multiplayer is a mess.

Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf it’s the perfect tribute to the gamebooks era. The story is compelling and full of different paths, the combat is fun and the “old book” aspect is very nice. A must have games for the 30-something and the RPG lovers.

Trials Rising is a juicy “more of the same”, but we dare you to say no to its crazy tracks, multiplayer challenges and tons of contents.

One of the best Housemarque titles for this generation of consoles and maybe one of the best Diablo-like games ever made.

Less personal than Gone Home but still an enjoyable experience. If a walking simulator is what you’re looking for, Tacoma is able to provide a few strong emotional moments searching for signs of the crew of the space station Tacoma, during their last days aboard. A lack of real empathy with the crew, however, is its weakest point, one that is difficult to forgive. The AR functionality is a very good addition, that we’d like to see in other similar games.

Gears of War: Judgment is a great example of how a huge exclusive can become bigger and better even after its (virtual) final episode. Epic can have nice dreams because Gears of War is in good hands.

Lot of stuff to do at the beginning, could change in a boring session without chances to find something interesting to bring on. Anyway, Free Realms has so much cool feature that is impossible to be critic with SOE. And it's totally free to play, we can't ignore this.

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is a glorious RTS with a wonderful campaign and a less than impressing skirmish and multiplayer department. Still, with a sublime gameplay and a spectacular technical department, it is one of the best RTS in the market.

Don't Starve is a good game that becomes a tad too repetitive after a while. The challenge is vast and interesting, but the constant grind for resources detracts from the fun in the long run.

Certainly Road 96 isn't a game for the masses, it's a bit of a niche. But this does not mean that it cannot please those who want to try something new and special. If you like compelling and captivating stories, backstories and slightly daring adventures, if you love the fact that every choice made has a weight on the unfolding of events, then it is a title that you could and should try. It is certainly an experience different from many others that in the end they all look a bit alike.

Warhammer Quest for iPad is really fun, and only partially ruined by the expensive DLCs and the repetitive dungeon design.

Technically speaking, this is not the best version of Bethesda's nazi-killing adrenalinic FPS, but on Switch you can play it anywhere with a rock-solid 30 fps gameplay.

If you love cats and difficulty in gaming, Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails could be your next killer app for Wii U. In case you don't, you should not hold your breath for the new Dakko Dakko's title.

Although PES 2011 can't yet be defined as the best football game on the market, Konami has done a great job in laying the foundations for what seems to be a new course for the franchise.

The Battle Royal scene has now a strong contender. Gorgeous graphics, fast pacing gameplay and explosions, explosions everywhere. Slinging spells has never been this fun.

Blizzard delivers us the perfect “Operation Nostalgia” with three titles that made history. Rock N Roll Racing is the real value of the compilation, followed by Lost Vikings, which aged graciously. We sadly cannot say the same for Blackthorne, klunky in gameplay and controls.

The Settlers 7 is a great RTS with classic elements and good new ideas. The graphic is sharp and clean, and the gameplay offers few interesting new features for the multiplayer. If you love this kind of game, you'll find what you're looking for in The Settler 7. And this time the DRM is not a big problem.

Rune Factory Frontier proves to be a very good game, capable of providing a fun and engaging adventure even after the first 20 hours of play. Beyond some little faults, the game's various activities will surely be able to attract the attention of both fans of the franchise and newcomers. A must try for any Wii owner.
