    Call of Duty: Ghosts is a huge step backward for this popular franchise. After the great Campaign Mode in Black Ops II, the simple 5-hour long Campaign of Ghosts is a shame. The Extinction mode alone could sell the game, but the overall competitive multiplayer experience isn't as good as the one we loved in the last episode from Treyarch.

    The Resurgence Pack is a nice DLC, but it suffers the same problem as the previous Map Pack: 1200 Microsoft Points are a really high price to pay for 5 maps, 2 of them coming back from the first Modern Warfare. Anyway, the developers did a great job, and the design of the new maps is awesome. If you really love this game, buy the DLC and have fun.

    Dead Space 3 is a victim of the EA bizarre marketing strategy. The game is still a Survival Horror, with extra action in co-op multiplayer games. Visceral Games does a great job, adding new ideas (the weapon crafting system is perfect) to a still-young franchise.

    The latest edition of Pro Evolution Soccer tries to show something new but, in the end, there are no major improvements. The 'new engine' looks the same as the one of the past edition, while many animations that were to be fixed since ages are unfortunately still there. The only interesting options are the new 'sliding' tactics and the skill cards to apply to each player. In the end it's a good soccer game, but FIFA 10 is on an upper level.

    The Annihilation Pack is a very good DLC created for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The lack of interactive elements in the new levels is a step backward for this game (remember the zip-lines in Kowloon or the elevators in Hotel or the deadly turrets in Berlin Wall?). Anyway, the DLC is a great addiction for most of the hardcore Call of Duty supporters.

    ExciteBots is a genuine and funny game, absolutely fresh and unusual in its nature of half racing game and half hardcore party game. The choice of Nintendo of not supporting such a particular product makes Nintendo itself double guilty, thinking about the sad destiny of ths great game.     Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix offers a wide look at the first chapters of the series and, even if the collection doesn’t cover the whole saga, it’s worth playing. Nevertheless the lack of extra content makes the game mostly directed to those that haven’t played the saga yet and want to catch up.

    Distant Worlds 2 is following its predecessor’s footsteps providing us a vast and enormous 4X space sim, with more options and customization than ever. The inclusion of the ship editor is very good and adds depth (if it ever needed more) to a title that can and will be daunting for many. The inclusion of an option to delegate major parts of the gameplay to the AI is refreshing but is too tempting, and could reduce the entire game to a click simulator where all we do is to accept the AI suggestions.
