Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is one of the best options in Switch’s catalogue. The combination of a huge amount of funny puzzles along with multiple additions to this version make it feel like an interesting purchase.

Monolith Productions managed to deliver a magnificent sequel to Shadow of Mordor. Allowing the players to recruit several types of different orcs that display unpredictable behavior thanks to the Nemesis system is a great experience. Overall, it has improved almost every single area over its predecessor, and the possibility of using dragons as a tool for war is welcomed.

Star Wars Battlefront II is the most complete game of the franchise. With a campaign mode that lives up to the expectations and an improved online mode, Electronic Arts and DICE put the series right where it belongs.

Borderlands 4 is the redemption the saga needed - Gearbox has listened to the community and fixed everything that needed fixing. It's fresh, crazy, fun, chaotic - everything Borderlands should be and the perfect answer to that saying "two plus two always equals four". Unravel Two follows the path of its amazing prequel and turns out to be a true piece of art. A game that thanks to its artistic and level design manages to entertain and move the player.

Madden 18 is the best installment of the series in the last years. Very solid and with stunning graphics thanks to the Frostbite engine. Great both for the veterans of the genre and for the newcomers.

Uncharted: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is the definitive edition of two games that remind me that Naughty Dog are experts at creating great adventures. Now I have no doubt whatsoever, the legacy of Nathan Drake is eternal.

Nice job! is the best, or at least, one of the best 'puzzle' titles you can find on Nintendo Switch right now: it's fun, it has personality, everything works. A very original proposal.

This compilation of retro games put together with a bunch of challenges in Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is a must-play treasure for all players. The compilation is made so that it doesn't only appeal to veteran players but also newcomers in a way that they will probably fall in love with everything the game has to offer. Especially regarding what veteran gamers may expect in this game collection, visually Nintendo has done a splendid job of keeping the classic appeal intact. Whether you play by yourself or aim to challenge other players, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is top of its class.

MXGP2 is the newest game from Milestone that brings a more realistic view to the Motocross World Championship in the videogame universe. The game features renewed and challenging mechanics that, if we manage to master them, will take us to the top in multiple game modes.

FIFA 22 introduces us to the biggest gameplay change in years to bring more realism to a game mode that, although it does not need it, does bring it closer to the sport from which it is nourished.

Overcooked is a game that could lead the return of the good old couch party games. The kitchens in this game can bring a real chaos to your home, but also lots of fun for you and your best friends.

Unplugged for PS VR2 is the most addictive music game on the platform. A formula that works perfectly, that is addictive, that can "sting" the most demanding players and that at the same time manages to have fun both being alone and having a game session with friends. A real discovery, a game that I would not have tried if it weren't for this review and which I am now grateful for both having and having enjoyed.

Age of Empires IV feels like some necessary fresh air that manages to maintain the essence of the classics without too much innovation. At the same time, it is actually a step forward towards what the community has been asking for in the last few years. The series is back with the utmost care by Relic Entertainment, displaying a commendable work like not many others. AOE is back once again.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 is the perfect choice if you have not had the chance to play them previously. Its style fits perfectly with the Nintendo Switch controls and the quality of both games is still amazing.

Dreams offers us a twist to the concept of ‘Play, create and share’ with hundreds of hours of entertainment and virtually endless possibilities. An exquisite campaign mode and a simply perfect finish.

Satisfactory 1.0 is the culmination of years of development, community feedback, and constant polishing. We have a huge city at our disposal, many hours of fun and possibilities of replaying the game either alone or with friends. The Division has become the best-selling Ubisoft IP in the first 24 hours and we are not surprised, it gives freedom to the players and offers them the opportunity to explore this post-apocaliptic world.

For a good war shooter to be truly exceptional, it needs to be fun but also have a great setting and atmosphere to create that authentic war feeling. Battlefield 6 achieves both, making it possibly the best war FPS of the decade and promising endless fun for its players in the coming months — or perhaps even years.

This is, with no doubt whatsoever, a great chance to enjoy one of the long forgotten gems of Wii U and, what's more, in its best possible version.

Nioh 3 represents a bold evolution for Team Ninja's punishing samurai saga. Where the first two entries excelled in tight, mission-based structure and stance mastery, this sequel leaps into larger open fields packed with content, such as side quests and Crucible trials, delivering that signature tension with far more freedom to explore. The real game-changer? Seamless switching between Samurai and Ninja modes mid-fight, allowing you to chain fast-paced combos with Ninjutsu and powerful Onmyo Magic.

Expectations have been exceeded once again with this tactical RPG game that stands out in every way. It has great duration, but above all, a story that will make us want to play in order to enjoy the game as much as possible, even if it only features one language, English.

Shin Megami Tensei V boasts extraordinary visuals, a familiar gameplay and an interesting narrative alongside AAA production values that, in the end, make for one of the best RPG of the whole year and, most likely, even the decade.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales looks like a simple proposal in the beginning, but it feels deep when we explore its guts. A new chapter in the world of Geralt of Rivia in which we will feel the cold breath of war between The Northern Kingdoms and Nilfgaard.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales brings us back the best version of the popular Marvel hero in a work that despite being more humble in certain aspects, is more spectacular and complete.

Given that Returnal was not amongst the most anticipated upcoming games of 2021, carrying a sort of underdog label, it is a massive surprise. Housemarque has carried out its most ambitious project and, although it has slight shortcomings, it is one of the games that best use the DualSense and PS5 characteristics, thus becoming an essential pick for both shooters and roguelikes fans alike. And, of course, it's very addictive.

Far Harbor is a DLC that has lived up to expectations. Its plot is complex, different and it features a new map which is well-developed.

Visual Concepts once again gives us the definitive basketball experience in the world of videogames. Coinciding with the twenty-third anniversary of the numbering of their games, they could only point to excellence. The gameplay looks sharper and more precise than ever, the vintage game modes take us back to incredible times and MyTEAM and MyCareer remain a safe bet. Without a doubt, essential for lovers of sports games.

A proposal that maintains a great difficulty curve and a unique structure, which borrows from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for the most skilled.

Knowing the limitations of this console, DOOM manages to maintain its essence and offers wild and amazing combat. An incredible game that is a must-buy for Nintendo’s new console.

Quietus of the Knights is, to sum up, a masterpiece of the metroidvania genre. Finesterra introduces one of the most memorable journeys of the year, giving us a decadent universe that is as tragic as beautiful and also with a fun, complex and precise gameplay. Definitely, a must-have not only for those who are fans of the genre, but also for those who are not as well as for anyone that wants to give themselves a true gift. It is an absolute recommendation.

Neon Blood is a truly outstanding graphic adventure whose plot captivates you from the start, constantly inviting you to continue its development while exploring each and every corner that is part of the city of Viridis. Ending all corruption and returning peace to the streets and inhabitants of the city will only be possible if detective Axel McCain, in the company of his allies, overthrows the dangerous powers present. If, in addition to liking graphic adventures, you are passionate about pixel art, you will love this 'Made in Spain' title.

Riders Republic is one of the biggest surprises of the year for me. A title with a gameplay so polished that it is capable of erasing all the bad preconceptions you could have about it. In the end, the most important thing about Riders Republic is that it makes you feel like the king of the mountain in every jump, every skid and every stunt that you manage to land safely on the ground.

Ghostrunner is a superb experience. Blending the core mechanics and philosophies of games like Mirror's Edge and Dishonored, it manages to become one of the best games of 2020, and one of the greatest representations of cinematic gameplay done absolutely right. A true kinesthetic, visual and auditory spectacle.

Guilty Gear -Strive- becomes one of the best launches of 2021 and, at the same time, one of the biggest references for the fighting genre. Arc System Works delivers a new masterpiece that, despite some bad design choices, is as flawless as enjoyable, recommendable for newcomers to this style of games and for veterans that are used to combat titles.

Madden 17 is probably the best American football game ever made. It does not feature a lot of innovation compared to previous games, but the ones that it has are perfect.

Neva is a title aimed at the whole family and not just a specific audience, with a story in which emotional ties are present at all times. If anything becomes clear as we get to know its protagonists, it is that unity is strength and that by being together, all kinds of adversities will be overcome. This game aims to be one of the most important indies of this present 2024 and if as players, you are looking for an experience that goes straight to the point, emotive and leaves aside the combat and action section that many of us are used to in other titles, Neva is the perfect choice.

The Surge has been able to exploit the essentials of this genre: A highly additive combat system, great setting and an outstanding level design. It may not be a huge innovation, but Deck13 has created a great game within the action RPG genre.

Gran Turismo 7 stands at the peak of simulation, and not just regarding driving games. Furthermore, the game goes above and beyond anything seen before, making it seem even slightly 'erotic' for car lovers: observing your cars, taking pictures of them and enjoying some relaxing moments are all core parts of the Gran Turismo 7 experience. In conclusion, the game is a perfect mix of both elegance and pure competition.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land goes well beyond my personal expectations with both innovation as well as pure fun throughout the whole journey. Its world invites you to explore every single area thanks to the many minigames, puzzles as well as cooperative experiences that extend the overall gameplay in a most satisfying way. It's an ambitious game that will appeal to the long-time fans of Kirby, but also to newcomers.

We have fascinating bosses, large areas to explore and enemies that I would not want to see even in my worst nightmares. Without a doubt, we are facing one of the great surprises of 2023 and it has most likely established the basis of some mechanics for future Soulslike-type titles.

Although the precedent set by the first game was remarkable, Ni no Kuni II manages to position itself as a worthy continuation of what is already one of the most interesting sagas in the current role playing scene. Level-5 has created a game that stands out from the competition with its own personality. For lovers of Studio Ghibli, you will find in this game a jewel to continue dreaming about.

The Red Strings Club lands on Nintendo Switch offering an experience worthy of the one that was originally released on PC. An adventure whose clearly reflective intentions build intense moral debates for the player through charismatic and unforgettable characters.

Donkey Kong is back with yet another remaster that remains very faithful to the original games. The level design, collectibles and many challenges make this game quite an enjoyable experience. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD main game modes offer a fair share of replayability, especially to new players that didn't experience the classic take on the game. This new Donkey Kong remaster definitely checks all the boxes.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 honors the great audiovisual work that Konami released in 2001, maintaining a high level and improving many of its most distinctive features. Silent Hill 2 was an essential title more than 20 years ago, and it remains so today with this magnificent remake.

As accessible as it is spectacular.

Although it is a little bit iterative and still has some issues with the goalkeepers, this game is more polished than ever, it has amazing graphics and a soundtrack that fits perfectly the game. FIFA 18 also has the official licenses of most of the great football leagues, which is wonderful.

For Honor is one of the best multiplayer experiences in recent years, offering a well-balanced combat system and stunning graphics that reflect the potential of the current generation.

Koral is a video game of exploration and puzzles that deals with the love of water. The title brilliantly manages to be a unique experience accessible to everyone, not only for its bizarre development on a sailboat in the sea itself, but for its invitation from the playable and mechanical level. Everyone will be able to participate and enjoy this particular submarine odyssey.

With some gameplay systems that are more polished than ever in the saga, Assassin's Creed Valhalla rises as a worthy continuation of the stele that Origins created a few years ago and that, in the other hand, respects the essence that the franchise has always preserved. inside itself. Yasuke and Noe are very different characters, especially when it comes to batlle, but in the end the two of them are equally enjoyable.
